Chapter 7's
____________
"Fine.."
The voice of the call stopped Bella who was going to lock the fence where her boarding house, Bella turned to look at someone who was calling her small name.
The girl's face turned crisp when she found a woman walking closer to her.
"Mama..." Bella also approached a middle-aged woman who turned out to be her own mother. He opened the fence he wanted to close.
"Kok didn't tell me to play to the Kos, Ara?" bella asked enthusiastically, they hugged each other to release the longing between mother and child.
"Yes, Mama's going to surprise me. You don't go home. Mama also misses Mama's daughter," replied Miss Ika-Mama Bella-samma while unraveling their embrace.
"In the meantime, Mama paid the taxi fare first," said Ms. Ika as she pulled out her wallet and then she went back to the Taxi that had taken her to the place of Kos the princess.
"Let's go in, Ma."
The two of them walked together to go to Bella's room, which was located in the corner.
"Ma's mother, Ara just got home from college," continued Bella while pressing the door handle.
"Hmm, have you eaten, Ra?" asked the mother while putting her bag on the study table owned by Bella.
"So I ate at the campus cafeteria, Ma," replied Bella honestly and the mother was bearded.
"What would you like to eat? Want Ara masakin or want to try the food sold around here?"
"No, Mama ate and was full. If we are hungry, we order online."
"Okay, Ma."
Bella steps up to go to the bathroom, she'll take a bath because she feels sticky after college.
Ms. Ika decided to lie in the room, because she felt tired from taking a two-hour drive from her home to where her son lived.
After finishing the bath and preparing, Bella returned to the place where her mother lay, Bella thought her mother was asleep but it turned out that her voice surprised Bella, moreover, the question of the middle-aged woman made Bella sigh heavily.
"You're now painting pictures like this, Ra?" asked Bu Ika while paying attention to one canvas that Bella had painted.
Bella does not know what to answer, it is impossible for her to be honest if the painting is drawn by herself outside her consciousness.
Bella herself was often unaware of what she was painting, his hands seemed to move on their own and after the painting was ready then Bella was wide-eyed because she was surprised because she never got the imagination like the thing she painted.
"Ng-that, That's Ma. Emm, Ara's got a college assignment about something like that" Elak Bella. Of course he had to lie.
"Tuition work? How strange, your college assignment? Even paint spooky pictures like gini!" Ika looked seriously at Bella while scanning the child's face.
"Yes, Ma. It's just a chore. Not more. What's the matter, Ma?"
"It's nothing. It's strange your job. Then you know the details of the picture of this kayak appearance from where? Have you ever seen a person like this?"
Bella shakes. "See the internet anyway, Ma," said Bella nervously.
"What are you really?"
Bella nodded quickly. Miss Ika also seemed to sigh in relief. His fear is meaningless, he only suspects that fear is running itself.
"Mom think you've seen, because Mama's scared" Mama stopped her sentence suddenly, her face hinted in deep fear and she looked shudder after.
"Fear what, Ma?"
"Ah, no. It's okay."
Bella nodded as she cleaned the painting papers that had been dismantled by the mother.
Bella starts to do the action, wants to ask about Felix, is it possible that the Mama knows about Felix? Because Felix came from the past Bella that Bella herself does not remember.
Bella just felt like she might find out, because Felix called her 'Ara' and it was like the call of those closest to them.
"Ask what, son?" Ika leaned her body against the head of the bed and looked at Bella with a questionable gaze.
"Did Ara have a little friend of a man?" ask Bella.
"No, your little friends are all girls."
"When that friend... who is invisible?" ask Bella nervously.
Mama looked a little surprised by Bella's question, she got up to her feet to avoid the eyes of the child.
"What do you mean, son?" Ma'am looked evasive. "Ehm, where's the drinking water, huh?" he asked then, as if he were diverting the question.
"That's on the edge, Ma. The cold one's in the fridge, let Ara get it."
Bella then started pouring cold water into the glass and Ika immediately took a quick sip.
Bella repeated the activity of pouring drinking water for the mother, while continuing to ask things that still make her curious.
"Ma, did you know about someone named Felix?" bella asked, and in the same second, Ika sprayed the water that had entered her mouth.
"Slow down, Ma," responded Bella.
Bella looked at the face of the mother who changed pias. Mama remained silent not answering any of Bella's questions.
"Felixes? You met Felix?" Finally, Ika opened her voice but she could not hide the suddenly pale look on her face.
"So Mama knows about him? Actually, Ara's coming home this week, Ma. Ara misses Mama and Papa, but Ara also wants to ask about Felix," said Bella staring at the mother who just silently listened.
"Thankfully Mama came here, so Ara did not need to go home, because honestly Ara was afraid of traveling, Ara was afraid Felix would harm Ara" Bella admitted.
Ma'am Ika swallowed her saliva with great difficulty, Bella's questions were none of which she could answer or explain.
"So Ara has really seen and met Felix? Ah yes, soon Ara will be the 20th birthday. Definitely Felix wants to collect on that promise," Mama's inner self.
Bella looked at the face of the Mama who seemed to be hiding something - Bella knew Mama not everyday, she wanted to receive an answer from the Mama, even though it would surprise her, she said, because now Bella is convinced that her mother knows something about Felix from his sudden strange girly.
"Ma, Ara wants to know what's really going on, Ma. Because Felix demands Ara to keep her promise" Bella said.
"Son..." Mother Ika's lips seemed to be stuck, she was powerless to explain everything.
"Please tell Ara, Ma. Felix said before Ara's birthday, Ara should know and remember everything otherwise..."
"When not why?" The intonation of Mama's voice turned high but left a cover-up of fear.
"His words will be bad," replied Bella lethargic.
"Bad for him, not for you. Just let it go. Don't remember anything else" the mother said, looking back at Bella's bed.
"But Ma..." Bella follows the mother while persuading her mother to open the key to all things experienced by Bella.
Mama was silent, the woman played her phone and did not pay attention to the child whining nearby so that she opened all the veils.
"Mama said no!" said Ms. Ika firmly.
"That's right, Mama knows about Felix? Is he really Ara's fiancee? Yes, Ma? Have we ever been engaged?"
Bella stared at the black bead belonging to the middle-aged woman, demanding her answer.
Ika was also bowed listlessly.
