'What does His Highness the Prince mean to you?'
Questions from Rossy kept ringing and filling his entire head. William was silent with his eyes that looked sad.
Still clearly reminded of the life of Alexander when he first entered the palace when he was ten years old. Even the servants though no one respected him like a prince just because of the flow of commoners' blood on Alexander.
A sneer, a condescending look became an everyday meal, but Alexander always ignored it and chose to be alone without anyone caring.
"Even I never defended her once" William murmured, recalling how scared she was of her mother's consort. The Empress always insisted on keeping a distance between herself and Alexander, so that the little prince who had just lost his mother had to survive alone in an environment that did not like him.
Alexander grew up alone in solitude, until the previous empress took her last breath and made her gradually vent to communicate with William.
Although it grows with an environment that does not support it, it does not make the ring becomes necessary. Alexander grew into a perfect figure who did not even have hatred for his father and also William who had ignored him. Time and again he became a shield for William, considering William's life more precious than his own.
For Alexander he did not need the affection of the Emperor, because for him it was more than enough for the Emperor to let himself stay in the palace and also provide a proper education.
"But what am I doing? Maybe all this is karma for me that took you from Alex." William recalled the moment he had deliberately captured the attention of the late crown princess. Attracting the girl to his side even though he finds out if Alexander put his heart first.
Now that it's all over again, William realizes that he has been selfish hogging Rossy. Even he forbade Rossy to approach Alexander even though he realized that Rossy was only a lady who was assigned to serve and heal his heart.
William sighed, it felt really hard to give up on Alexander. Maybe for him right now it's better he gives up the throne than he gives up on Rossy.
"Lord, what should I do?"

"Please open your eyes, Alex!"
Since the incident Rossy continued to be beside Alexander, the girl did not even intend to move and continue to hold the prince's hand.
"Please open your eyes! I-I promise I won't do anything stupid anymore!" mumbling back.
Rossy stared at Alexander's pale face with her puffy eyes. Unthinkable before, the man who a few hours ago still looked fresh and accompanied himself on a walk had now drooped helplessly as if his life had been on the edge of the horn.
For the first time Rossy feels like a loser, who can't do anything even if big problems are in front of his eyes.
Fear filled his heart, because for Rossy, Alexander was the only reason he was excited to live in the middle of nowhere.
'Rossy, 'Rossy. You didn't forget your mission, did you?'
A mysterious voice that had been unheard for a long time now appeared and provoked Rossy's emotions.
As much as Rossy's energy held him back, so as not to shout and make a noise in Alexander's room.
'Your feelings will only be a hindrance to your cause. If you want to come back soon then forget it!'
"What do you mean? You're the one who sent me to this middle of nowhere, but why do I have to obey you?" Rossy held her voice so as not to be heard out.
'Ha-ha-ha is your destiny. Now you only have her choice, and it's all in your hands.'
"You're this, you fucking crap!"
Rossy's patience seemed to be collapsing, but suddenly his focus was split when something gently touched his palm.
