Waiting to Come Home

Around ten o'clock Sonny just got home from work, sure enough he's gonna be late tonight. Sonny put his car into the garage area, after which he walked to get into the house.

But a voice stopped his footsteps.

"Mas Sonny!"

Sonny turned around and stepped closer to the source of the sound.

"Within?" The man muttered when he saw Arin calling his name.

He was a little surprised because Arin apparently had not slept at all.

"Mas Sonny's home yet?" Arin asked when she saw her husband stepping into the place he was.

"Yes, I'm overtime today. Why aren't you sleeping? Are the kids asleep?"

"Then why are you here? Are you waiting for me to come home?' guess it.

A few minutes passed, Sonny who had cleaned up and was preparing to go to Arin's house was surprised by the presence of Arin who was standing in front of his house.

The woman had just raised her hand about to knock on Sonny's door, but the owner opened the door first.

"Wheel? What are you doing in front of my house?" Sonny asked confusedly.

"Here, I've prepared dinner for Sonny's mas" replied Arin lifting up the place to eat he brought.

Sonny looked at the thing Arin was holding, "I just went to your house, why are you here?"

"Sonny mas long time ago, I've been waiting from earlier but mas Sonny has not come too. So I decided to come here" he explained.

"Geez, I'm sorry I made you wait too long. Then come in, but.... Are the kids okay with being left behind?" Sonny asked a little worriedly.

"Usually they never wake up again when they're asleep" Arin said.

"Oh... Yes already. Come inside... " Sonny opened the door of his house wide, allowing the wife to enter his residence.

Sonny closes the door and walks towards the kitchen to get a plate and a spoon and water for her and Arin.

Sonny came back and sat there, he put the plate and two cups of drinks, then opened the lunch box that Arin brought.

"You want to eat too? Let me get you one more plate" he bargained

"How are you today? Is something going on?" Said Sonny in the middle of his activity.

Dinner this time was nice because Arin accompanied her and made dinner for her.
