Bagas Caught

Elmo covered up what was happening in China from Lili. Elmo had actually started to feel such intense pressure from Goh's side. Elmo tries to cover up the panic he gets when he gets the news that Bagas, his personal assistant who is also his best friend, has been arrested by Goh.

Elmo stood on the roof top with long sighs wrapped in sadness. He had dragged Bagas into trouble. Elmo was late in warning Bagas and late in protecting Bagas. Elmo really regretted his stupidity.

Elmo held up his phone when he felt a vibration in his pants pocket and said, "hello?"

"If you love your friend then tomorrow night, you have to hand over Doctor Lili if you don't, then this friend of yours will die and we will send the body to you, take it!"

Click, the dark caller disconnects the phone and Ting, a text message goes into Elmo's phone. Elmo opened the text message and read an address that required him to come tomorrow night.

Elmo put his phone back in his pants pocket and he immediately got down to his car and immediately slid into the office of his friend who works as a police commander there.

"Well?!" peekik Evan shocked. "Why did Bagas get kidnapped by Goh's men?"

"Yesterday me and Bagas staked out one of Goh's headquarters on the beach. Then Bagas said goodbye to me, he left me just like that after he received the phone call and after that I did not get any more news from him. Until the next day, Goh's party called me, telling me that Bagas was in their cupping"

"Just calm! Goh is not a person who kills people. He will kill his hostage if it is useless but, if it is still useful then he will be fair in making exchange transactions"

"Yes you're right I think. I hope Bagas is okay until tomorrow night. But I don't think I'm fulfilling what they're asking for in exchange"

"What do they ask for?" ask Evan.

"My wife" Elmo said softly while propping up her handsome face with both palms. "Help me save Bagas without involving Lili"

"alright. I agree with you. We can't harm anyone else in Bagas' rescue. Emm, how tall is Lili and is there a picture of Lili? can I see?"

Elmo said, "lili's height is one hundred and sixty-three centimeters and here's the picture" Elmo handed her phone to Evan.

Evan received the phone then looked deeply into the face plastered on the front screen of his phone Elmo. Without Evan realizing he said the word, "sweet too"

Elmo immediately pulled back his phone and put it in his pants pocket with a frown he said, "the next time I won't give you a picture of my wife"

"Hahahaha, I'm sorry that I upset you but, um your wife is sweet. It's worth it for you to fight desperately like this"

"Enough! you say sweet once more then I'll hit your mouth" said Elmo with a hardened face.

"Hahahaha, okay fine. I have a colleague who has a posture similar to your wife's only problem......."

"What?" elmo asked with lightning speed and made Evan's speech cut off.

"Nobody here has long hair and curls, hehehehe. All my girlfriends are straight and sassy, hehehe"

Elmo let out a long sigh while closing his lips. That was the hallmark of Elmo when he was thinking hard. A few minutes later, Elmo said, "how about putting on a couple's hair. I'm gonna order my secretary to buy it and I'm gonna have her bring it straight here"

Evan immediately patted Elmo on the shoulder and said, "top! very smart thinking. Okay I agree!"

Maha Adijaya faced Moses in his study. Ray sitting on the couch doesn't dare to play his phone like he used to if he waits for his big boss to talk to a client with one eye. Ray was afraid that if the two old lions who still looked ferocious and dashing were fighting back therefore, Ray chose to continue to be vigilant.

Lili sat in the living room together with Melati. They hugged and did not dare to say a word. Melati and Lili wait for Moses and Maha in the living room with anxious expectation.

The king took the twins gardening on the back porch of Moses' house. Chery, Celyn, and Bintang chose to keep themselves busy in the kitchen to make cakes and some snacks for their friends to drink tea later in the afternoon.

"Thankfully you still remember it well and if you throw another tantrum then I assure you, you will be on the brink of death" a vehemently veiled hatred sounded in Alfa's tone.

"Yes, I agree with Alfa. Now what do you want to do to get me and Alfa to meet?"

"I admit your son Elmo is very smart, strong, and meticulous. But he seems to have a heart as compassionate as Melati and that's his biggest weakness" Maha said.

"Hmm, you're right. Elmo is not exactly like his mother. Keep going!"

"I found out that his friend Elmo named Bagas was in Goh's grasp. Elmo must be panicked, confused, and sad so......."

Moses soon got up, "I'm going to China right now. I'll help Elmo free Bagas"

Alfa immediately pulled Moses' arm and Moses sat back in his chair. Alfa immediately let out her chatter to Moses, "you're still abege huh? are you old, can you not think before you act? the old boy who was still careless and always put his muscles before his brain and hmmpppt" Alfa could not continue his words when Moses' sturdy hand suddenly silenced his mouth.

"Will you talk?" Moses went to the Alfa.

"Emm" Alfa was only able to make an emm sound and shook her head in front of Moses because Moses' hand was still silencing his mouth.

"Will you curse me?" Moses asked again.

Alfa shook her head many times in front of Moses and Moses immediately freed Alfa's mouth from her burly hands.

Without Moses and Alfa guessing, Maha giggled at the ridiculous behavior of Alfa and Moses. "You love each other yes and you are funny" Maha again chuckles amusedly.

Alfa and Moses were stunned looking at Maha's face in laughter. Very different from Maha who always has a hard face, cold and stiff.

"What are you guys looking at me like that? anything weird on my face?"

"Ehem!" Alfa and Moses cleared their throat at the same time and Moses immediately said, "continue!"

"So I'll turn myself in with the evidence I have on Goh. Said my friend who works as a prosecutor, if I turn myself in and cooperate with how to submit the evidence of Goh's crime then my sentence will be lightened" said Maha with a face that returned flat but, full of seriousness.

"Well?!" Moses and Alfa pulled their jaws down simultaneously.

"I did it for Elmo and Lili. I want them to be united and live in peace. I am also tired of my dark, cold, and loveless life" Maha said, taking the cigar she put in her suit pocket. Maha offered the cigars to Moses and Alfa but Moses and Alfa shook their heads simultaneously.

"How about Lili? You've said what you mean to Lili?" ask Alfa.

Maha sucked deeply into his cigar and exhaled his smoke slowly into the air and he said, "that's your job"

"Can we? well, he's still Mo. You know, I'm not very good at saying that in front of girls"

"Yes, I agree with Alfa. Why not the dictionary itself that talks to Lili?" moses protest.

Maha sighed as she hung the cigar she had clamped with her two fingers in the air she said innocently, "if no one wants to bring this matter to Lili then I will ask Melati for help" Maha got up and Moses joined her while yelling annoyed, "wait! why is it jasmine anyway? The fa! approve her! hurry Fa!"

Maha continued to step slowly towards the exit to look for Melati. Moses pulls Alfa back up and Alfa freezes and stares at Maha's back.
