Chapter 1: May O'Pray

 

The hallway of the Anderson High School School corridor was already deserted. Not because of holidays but all school residents both teachers and students have entered the classroom and started teaching and learning activities. It looked like a pair of students were joining each other towards a classroom. Arriving in front of class XI, the student was reluctant to release his hand to the student. Even the student replaced his hand with a hug as if reluctant to part with the student.

Mei nodded with resignation. Manu knocked on the classroom door. A middle-aged female teacher opened the door.

"yes what's wrong?" ask the teacher.

"I drove my new boyfriend here" Manu said shamelessly introducing Mei as his girlfriend. The female teacher turned her eyes to Mei, then nodded. Mei turned to Manu while shaking her head. As if understanding, Manu also answered "g papa. gih in.." while rubbing Mei's head. Mei also entered the class followed by the female teacher who was the homeroom teacher Andrea. Manu who saw that then went from the front of the Mei class to his class.

" All attention..this is a new student. please introduce yourself" pinta Bu Andrea.

" Now you can sit next to Yasmindiyah, the schoolgirl who wears the hijab. Mei looked around the room. Then his eyes looked at the only student wearing a head covering. Mei also walked up to the student while looking down.

" My name is Yasmindiyah Madison" Yasmin introduced herself as she reached out to her hand in May shortly after Mei sat down on the bench next to her. Mei turned to Yasmin who was smiling kindly at her. Mei also returned Yasmin's hand and smiled back at Yasmin. The lesson starts as usual. Somehow in a short period of time Mei felt comfortable and close to Yasmin. (Maybe because of the friendly Yasmin I think so..hehe).

The break bell rang. 2 Students approached Yasmin.

"Beb to the canteen yuk.." invite one of the students. "iya Bailey my dear... bentar yes.. finish the book first daftar..." yasmin replied with a smile to Bailey and Brooklyn.

"May also come to the canteen yuk with us" Yasmin invited.

" So you wanna come to the cafeteria with us?" ask Brooklyn

" eum. i.." I haven't had time to answer Brooklyn, someone's bass is heard.

" Dear, come to the cafeteria." said the owner of the bass voice.

the four ciwis turned to the source of the voice. And how surprised they were to see students or rather some students who had just entered that classroom. Not only did the four students feel the same shock as Yasmin, Bailey and Brooklyn. They were shocked not only to see Manu and his gang but his words that made them shocked. Manu is a most wanted who is famous for being badboy, arrogant, cold and cruel indiscriminately be it a guy or girl if disturbing him will be eliminated. Just called Mei with the affectionate name.

Manu approached Mei and langung stroked the girl's head fondly.

" To the cafeteria it's time to eat. later you get sick again.." said Manu while pulling Mei's hand to go with him.

Manu clasped his hand in May and walked out of the class with Alex, Emilio, and Ivan, the Thunder gang. Bailey and Brooklyn just dumbstruck in disbelief that a Manu came to his class and even memorized them. (Padahatan will pick up May.. hihihi😂😂). Yasmin lowered her head because according to her religion a woman should not see a man's eyes. But for some reason, Yasmin felt that a pair of eyes were watching her. Yasmin tried to ignore that feeling.

Shortly after Mei, Manu and his gang leave the classroom, the atmosphere still silent.

"I swear by what?? Manu can be so gentle as a girl?? was that May Manu??" ask Bailey still can't believe it. "Maybe's boyfriend?" yasmin replied with her ghost. "heh.....!!!!!" he said he could not believe the entire class that still did not believe it. Yasmin, who was shocked by the reaction of her friends and the rest of the class, only provided her shoulders with a sign that she was not dizzy.
