Mother-in-law Obsession
Gossip

Memories sprung up one by one, and it was just filled with your sweet smiling face.

What makes you so comfortable being by my side?

Can you get through the day without tears?

Countless wounds, hearts scratched by knives, and painful memories.

Am I really okay for you?

Can you stay by my side?

Even if you push me away because I don't deserve you, I'll go.

It's not your fault.

Maybe I've been hurt too much.

There are many difficulties I have faced.

If you hold me to hold me away, I'll stay.

I'll never be a step ahead of you.

I will always be three steps behind you.

Protecting you with distance.

A man with a sculpted face like a Greek God was walking with his high hand entered the company accompanied by several assistants behind him. Suddenly his long legs stopped stepping when a middle-aged man who was none other than his own father passed him.

With great reluctance, Devian bowed his body saluting the father. One of the ethics taught by his parents as a child was brought from the traditions of eastern Asia, bowing when meeting older people.

Devian's treatment was only met with a deheman and the unfriendly face of the middle-aged man. Devian gave a small smile as his father passed by. He felt so overwhelmed to get such treatment from his family.

"Director Mendoza, are you okay?" ask one of the assistants who looked worried.

Devian nodded his head slowly as he glanced at his loyal assistant who had asked with an anxious look.

Not wanting to be too late, Devian again continued his steps until he entered the elevator that would take him to his private room. Leaving the employees who immediately gossiped with him as the main topic.

Or the worse the interaction between the two men surnamed Mendoza.

"The relationship between the Director and the President seems to be getting worse" one employee told a friend.

Alea just silently listened to her friend start rubbing her own boss. He prefers to concern himself with making copies of files in the copier in his office. The black net does not escape from the sheets of paper that accumulate each other after coming out of the machine.

"Do you know that this is currently in a scene with rumors of Director Mendoza being forced to remarry in order to get offspring?" ask Alea's friend who looks enthusiastic.

Alea's twin obsidian beads moved, turning forward for a moment before turning back to the papers again.

"really?" sahut Alea with a tone that seemed not interested in the topic of discussion of his compatriots who are now looking at his cellphone.

"Yes! That's a hot rumor here" Alea's friend replied as she looked at Alea who was busy tidying up piles of papers to take to her desk. He could see a faint smile etched from Alea's lips.

"Alea?" call friend.

"Yes?" sahut Alea's.

"Why are you smiling like that? What did I say that was funny? I feel sorry for his wife, but you think this is a joke?" his friend was fiery with a face of disbelief.

Alea chuckled, then shook her head slowly. "No, you kept talking. I think you're getting too involved in other people's domestic affairs, especially our boss. It's funny, you're not married, but you've been thinking about other people's households like you're an expert" Alea replied calmly.

"Hey, Alea! What did you just say, huh?! You taunting me? Remember, Miss. You're not married either!" his friend's screams did not accept Alea's words earlier.

Alea faded her smile, replacing it with a bitter smile. Put the bunch of papers on his desk, then sit there with the two neutrals moving erratically. The beautiful woman gulped down the available water on her workbench in a hurry.

His heart was racing fast as if he were racing against a horse. His friend's words were back in his eyes.

'Director Mendoza, do I still have hope?'

Devian entered his room and immediately occupied his seat of power. He nodded his head that felt dizzy instead of playing. His mind branched everywhere. The thing he should not be thinking about right now is even thinking about now.

His life was indeed happy with Azura. The beautiful woman was always there when she needed to be, always with her when she was at her lowest and peak of glory. However, not entirely happy.

How can Devian be happy born and inner if his household continues to be disturbed by both his parents who are crazy treasure and also ... That descendant?!

Devian is completely inexhaustible with the hardship of his parents which ends up hurting his own biological son and his son-in-law, Azura.

"Director Mendoza," said his secretary as he entered his room with someone approaching Devian.

Highlight Devian's sharp eyes as sharp as an eagle implied the elation and fatigue of an old turtle. That was the first thing that someone saw when his gaze met Devian.

"You look exhausted, Devian," Leon said as he sat himself on one of the Devian sofa rooms that had been available before. Staring wryly at Devian's face that was so tangled even on this sunny morning.

The handsome man commented a knotty smile, saying in a gesture if everything was good. Leon is not easily lied to. He knew everything that happened to his cousin-in-law, even Devian was very far off the radar either.

"How's Azura doing?" leon asked as Devian walked up to him and sat down on one of the single couches.

"You know, brother. He'll just be fine in front of us" Devian replied languidly. He went back to rubbing his throbbing forehead. Tearing down the strong-ass shield he built and he showed it to everyone.

"Go, Devian. You and Azura just need to run away from here. Me and Gizka promised to help you," suggested Leon staring at his brother's pity.

Hearing that Devian moved his hand away from his forehead, looked at Leon and then commented on the soft, soothing smile.

"Thank you, Brother. But, that's impossible. My parents wouldn't stay silent if I did. They will definitely look for me and Azura. You tau? Even those-"

Devian hung up his words, he stared at Leon with a deep hurt and despairing look.

"Even they don't hesitate to threaten to keep Azura away from me" Devian continued, shuffling her hair in frustration.

Devian wanted to shout as loud as possible to vent the huge burden squeezing his chest. Everything becomes so confusing.

"Oh yes. When did Brother and Sister Gizka come home?" tanya Devian switched the conversation. He just wanted to forget for a moment the biggest problem of his life.

Leon who had previously looked straight ahead slowly turned his gaze towards his wife's cousin's sister.

"About three days ago," replied Leon trying to understand Devian.

Devian nodded in understanding. "You want a drink, brother?" bargain Devian.

What is offered is a short shake. Such a response made Devian frown in confusion.

"Why? You're not thirsty?" ask Devian.

Leon laughed amusedly, then nodded back. "Just by looking at your disheveled face, my phlegm is gone, little brother," licked Leon.

Hearing that sickening answer, Devian rolled a panted eye. Which certainly makes the older laugh so loosely that it can break his silence in the room.
