GAME STARTS*

All the children in different regions looked panicked as many sinister events appeared before them.

Some of them had fallen in the first hour after their feet treaded in that unknown world.

Slowly, the children realized that the place they were in now was not a dream, but a real world in the middle of nowhere.

However, a child realizes that they are on a planet when his shudder steps are stopped because a large object appears before him.

The tall young man saw a large pool of water in front of him and saw the island in the middle of the place.

The black-haired man's eyes narrowed. He seemed hesitant to approach the water because he saw strange movements in it. The place was deserted and he was sure if only alone.

"Huh, hah, don't tell me there's a crocodile or something in this water, but ..Oh my God, I'm really thirsty. Just drink first, about dying the back business," he replied began to slant and immediately knelt on the outskirts.

The young man leaned over and used both of his hands to take the water which turned clear as it was not turbid as it seemed. The young man tried to drink it, but ....

"Oh, shit! What was that?!" his screeches were startled and immediately crawled backwards away from the water.

His eyes were practically wide. He stood away and climbed a mound of earth from the steep rock.

He scanned around, where his position was now higher, but there was nothing in the water. In fact, he was very sure if there was a large bubble appeared not far from where he took drinking water.

BLUP!

Back, a huge bubble on the surface appeared. The young man did not run away and remained where he stood. Before long, another bubble appeared around the water.

"What's that?" the question was suspicious and instantaneous, SPLASH!

"OH MY GOD!" the screech was shocked when he saw a mermaid appear with a large tail wag until the splash of water hit the young man's face. "Whoah! Whoa!" he cried out in panic, but could not run and peck at that place.

"Blub, blup, blup-blup?"

"Huh?" she asked because the mermaid was like talking to her. "You're talking to me?" asked the youth with a noble face, but can speak Indonesian pointed at him.

"Oh, I wish I could speak the language of the fish" he said with widened eyes as the mermaid that appeared before him looked real. "OK, let's just say it's an introduction. Hello, I'm Timo" he introduced himself and the mermaid smiled.

The young man stared at the motions of the mermaid princess in the distance carefully as he swam on the surface forming a circle.

The eyes of the young man named Timo widened as the water inside the circle turned into a screen that displayed visuals but was projected by the water.

"Oh! It's writing!" he said screeched because it was lit in bright blue water like a lamp in Indonesian. "Oh, for a minute" he said, wearing glasses that he always kept in his pants pocket. The young man looked over and read it carefully.

"Welcome to ... M-A-N-I-A-A. The maniac? I'm not a maniac!" he was upset, but refocused on reading. "Level 1 game is starting. Your mission is to catch a mermaid. The reward for successfully completing a mission is getting a special ability randomly to survive in the game. Completion of the mission by bringing the mermaid to the portal. Unspecified duration. The gathering point is at the mountain door."

Instantly, a bright green light appeared like a lamp on the island in the middle of the puddle. And right then and there, the message in the game went out. The young man's mouth was wide open.

"What?" said confusion. He blinked his eyes repeatedly with an innocent face. The mermaid was still swimming on the surface of the water and several times dived and then appeared again like teasing him. "OKAY. In front of me is a mermaid. It's just ... What is this?!" he cried out in frustration at being confused by his current condition.

Timo chose to sit for a moment to see the mermaid princess who looks beautiful with her large tail and sparkling like in a fairyland.

Timo's hand just stuck forward with a blank look. The creature, known as the mermaid from Greek mythology, suddenly appeared and was seen by the young man.

When his hand had touched the hand of the fish princess and held each other, suddenly, BRUKK!!

"HUH!" shock the bespectacled young man when suddenly a wide cloth covered the body of the mermaid princess as if trapping her.

Timo fell flat on his back and became aware of the hypnotic influence of the mermaid. He saw a man climb the body of the fish woman and pulled her to the ground.

"Bro!" the shrill mermaid's screech was like a whistle being blown all over.

His unknown youth continued to hold the black cloth wrapped around the mermaid's body while pulling it firmly to the mainland as the water man continued to rebel.

"Help!" he shouted loudly, and Timo swiftly helped the young man by lifting the tail of the mermaid who continued to be wagged and slapped his face until his glasses were removed.

"Agh, my glasses!" he panicked, but continued to step towards higher ground and was forced to leave his glasses behind.

The mermaid continued to thrash and screech. Timo fell to the ground because his body was blown by the creature's power which turned out to be quite large.

As Timo lay on the ground and tried to get up, he was surprised to see a group of mermaids appear on the surface of the water and hiss.

Timo's eyes were wide-eyed as the fish-man showed sharp teeth like those of a predatory fish and their fingers had sharp fingernails.

Timo crawled backwards and saw a mermaid caught by his unknown young man as if he was short of breath.

Timo stood up with a gasp of breath to see the mermaid lying helplessly and her lips began to dry up.

"What is your name?" asked the black-clothed youth looking at the sports-clothed youth sitting on the ground looking at him.

"Timo. And you?"

"Gibson" he answered, holding out a hand to shake his hand. "I heard you can speak Indonesian" said Gibson, who widened Timo's eyes.

"You can too?" Gibson nodded.

"Indonesia is one of the languages I speak, but I don't speak slang. I think slang is disrespectful" he said, looking at the watch he was wearing.

"Oh! What time is it?" tanya Timo immediately stood up and it turned out that their height was almost the same.

"fun working. See it? My digital clock is off, and here's all the menus" she replied, showing her digital clock screen.

"Then ... now how?" timo asked confusedly.

The young man named Gibson who looked tough in all-black clothes including his boots, looked towards the island that had a bright green ray there quietly.

"I didn't know the mission you read about was only for one person or two at a time" she replied, leaving her waist and making her look cool.

"M, Gibson, I can tell. Were you also sucked into a portal?" Gibson nodded.

"Looks, we're in a fighting arena. Before I got here, I met many children who had died. Either they were eaten by a strange creature, or suddenly died from eating or drinking something unknown. The guy who made this game is crazy. I really wanted to beat him up" Gibson said fiercely. Timo gulped.

"18 and I'm from China." Timo nodded. He shook hands and Gibson welcomed him.

"I'm from the Philippines. I'm only a year older than you. I'm 19. I hope we can be good friends, Gibson. Nice to meet you," he replied happily and Gibson smiled faintly.
