Adinda smiled with satisfaction, looking at Gisela's annoyed behavior. She was so happy to tease her sister's stepson. He just closed his mouth when the mother patted his shoulder and slightly grabbed his ear, because of his prank.
Seeing the clock on his wrist made him remember the campus assignment that must be handed over.
"Adinda wants to go directly to campus, there are tasks that must be collected. I say yes ma'am," he said and kissed the reverence of the mother's back hand and then took turns doing the same to Shalimar.
"Let Salman take you to college,"
"But mom, —"
"It's okay, I'm going to the company too." Salman said in between his steps to approach Shalimar, then said goodbye to the woman who had given birth by kissing the woman's forehead and then took turns to say goodbye to Harti by taking her right hand and kissing her reverence.
"We're leaving now!" invite Salman to look hopefully at Adinda.
The sister was still unmoved, she looked at the mother for approval.
Ms. Harti smiled faintly returning the princess' gaze.
Salman is still faithfully standing waiting for an answer from Adinda. Finally with a slight nod Adinda accepted Salman's invitation. The two then go hand in hand. Salman first approached the car where Gisela had been sitting behind Ryan— he wanted to invite Gisela to come with him, but Gisela refused with a mimic still upset with Adinda.
In between her steps, the two middle-aged women stared at the backs of their sons with their own thoughts.
"They seem to be in harmony." said Shalimar who made Harti look at the woman.
"What do you think of Jeng?" shalimar asked adding while staring at his interlocutor.
"What about mba?" Harti asked back as if he knew nothing.
"Yes... Continuation of their closeness. Salman is a grown man who is ready to build a household—"
"Adinda is just starting her college" Harti interrupted with discomfort with the direction of Shalimar's conversation.
Actually in Harti's eyes, Salman is a figure of a man without disabilities, he is also polite to the elderly, he also looks affectionate, he also looks affectionate, he saw the sincerity of his every attitude in loving Gisela and Gerald. However, there is little sense from the rest of her past towards her eldest daughter — Amanda, until she hesitates and does not know how to behave towards the man.
Shalimar was a little taken aback by Harti, all this time he thought that Harti also had the same desire with him, to unite Salman and Adinda.
Harti saw the shock in Shalimar's eyes, he also felt uneasy to have so impolitely interrupted Shalimar's speech.
"Sorry mba. I do not want to force the will of my daughters in determining a partner. If my daughter is comfortable with my son. I as a parent would want complete happiness for her daughters. You understand what I mean?"
"Yes, I get it. I see Salman as putting his heart on Adinda, and I hope that they can be a match."
With a fluffy smile Shalimar stepped up while embracing Harti's arm.
Harti looked at Shalimar's hand on his arm then turned to look at the beautiful-looking woman with thick makeup on her face. There is a sense of gratitude that he promises to be in the middle of a conglomerate family that is so filled with warmth. There was nothing he needed to doubt in fact, his daughters had even been well received in the middle of the family even though his previous life was far from established.
Let fate speak now. If Salman is indeed destined to be his son-in-law, though not for his eldest daughter, perhaps for his youngest daughter. What happened in the past cannot be eliminated.
Nor does he understand what happened in Salman and Amanda's true past. However, he can see and feel Gio who loves Amanda so much, and how Salman is in the middle of both without any hatred and antagonism, he said, instead, they share each other's affection for Gerald and Gisela.
Gisela's shout from inside the car that was already tired of waiting, made the two middle-aged women further speed up her pace. The two took turns getting into the car after Salman opened the door. Without waiting any longer Ryan started the engine and drove away from the private runway area of the Kaana family.
Adinda replied with a nod and obediently followed Salman's steps. Not forgetting he said thank you when Salman opened the door for him.
"Oh yes, brother, so when should I start working?" adinda asked with a slight stammer after Salman entered and sat in the steering wheel.
Salman turned his face after he finished putting a safety guard on his waist.
"Not to rush. Just relax your college schedule. If your schedule isn't tight tomorrow, you can come tomorrow. It's up to you,"
Adinda nodded at Salman's words. He was actually impatient to feel how he really worked.
"Alright, I'll start coming tomorrow morning" he said steadily.
Salman did not fade his smile in the slightest by looking at the beautiful girl beside him, the cheerful, feisty girl who had been able to heal his wounds from the first love he could not have. However, he does not want to have more desire for the girl, because he feels he is not a man who deserves the girl to remember the past because the snare of love is complicated.
Adinda tried to thump softly to get rid of the nervousness that suddenly struck realized Salman who kept looking at her. He tried to force himself to open his voice.
"Are we still gonna be here long, brother?" tanyakanya.
Salman gasped to realize his mistake by continuing to look at Adinda, the girl must be uncomfortable with his attitude.
"Oh yes, sorry." she answered by straightening her seat and looking ahead.
Adinda's forehead is wrinkled, because Salman is not running the car. He turned his head when Salman also turned to him until the two pairs of eyeballs met each other.
"The car doesn't want to go before you put up your seatbelt" said Salman who made Adinda cut their eyes off.
He cursed his stupidity that forgot to put up a safety because it was too groggy in the eyes of the man next to him.
"Why so hard" he murmured while trying to install a seatbelt that suddenly became difficult to install.
"Here I help,"
Without waiting for Adinda's approval, Salman had pulled the seatbelt from Adinda's shoulder and put the faces of the two in such a close distance.
Heart can not you beat normally rich, I so hard to breath gini tau ga?
Clique
The sound of the seatbelt that has been installed disconnects the view of both.
Adinda took a deep breath and took it out slowly after Salman began to move her face away.
Salman re-enforced his back and straightened the seat facing forward and started the engine of the car leaving the place.
