Amanda and Leon

Amanda was lowered on a high-quality marble floor that controlled all parts of the room of her luxury residence Barnes Adiwilaga Darmawan. The house is a legacy given by Moses Elruno and Moses Elruno also left the same precious house, the same type, with the same area, to all his grandchildren without any favoritism. Moses Elruno, who is always rigid and unable to make small talk when he is dealing with colleagues or people other than his family, is very different from Moses Elruno when he is dealing with his grandchildren. Amanda looked at the foreign man who had just shouldered her like a sack of rice and Amanda could hear all the things that were on the minds of the man who was still standing tall in front of her and still looking at her deeply in the middle of the night dumbness.

Amanda listened to the contents in the man's mind and could breathe a sigh of relief because, she did not listen to anything bad in the man's mind. And as the man's mind said he was going to call Barnes, Amanda involuntarily asked, "Who is Barnes? And why would you call that guy Barnes?"

Leon, Barnes' personal assistant who was very honest and loyal to his master, grabbed his phone and asked, "Why do you know I'm going to call Mr Barnes?"

Amanda said innocently as she tapped her temple with the tip of her right index finger, "I can hear everything on your mind"

Leon put his phone back in his shirt pocket and was curious about what Amanda said. He felt he had a challenging game. Then he said, "Is that so, Miss?" Leon then spread a big smile like a child who was staring at a lot of colorful candy.

Amanda could just calm down. He sat on the sofa, folded his legs and arms, and said to Leon who was still standing in front of him with a big smile, "OK, try to think of something! I'll tell you what I heard from your mind"

Leo involuntarily jumped onto the sofa, sat in front of her Amanda and clapped in joy. She thought of something and, looking at Amanda, she said, "It's Miss. Now tell me what I just thought"

"You're thinking why am I different from Mr Barnes? what's?! what does Mr Barnes describe about me?" Amanda immediately took off the folds of her legs and advanced her body to Leon.

Leon gasped in shock and was stunned into the back of the sofa because, what Amanda said was true. He was indeed thinking about why the Amanda in front of him was so different from the Amanda described by his Master.

Amanda still folded her arms and leaned against Leon and glared back, saying, "Say what does your master describe about me? why is it different from what I am now?"

"Sir Barnes told me that you were soft, straight and beautiful black-haired, then beautiful and cute" Leon let go of all those words with great caution because he was afraid to offend Amanda.

"Why can your Master describe me like that? Does your master know me?" ask Amanda who has started to unravel the folds of her hands and eat the cake on the table while rewinding her body to lean back on the sofa and back fold her legs.

Leon knitted his brows and immediately got up and said, "I went out for a bit to the front yard. There's a little business" Leon then runs into the front porch of Barnes' luxury residence before Amanda listens to what's on her mind again.

Leon took back his phone and immediately dialed his boss's mobile number. "Sir, Miss Amanda has arrived home safely"

"Goodoo. I'll be home soon. Emm, what's Amanda doing?" sahut Barnes's.

"Eating the cake" said Leon.

"It's good that he can be relaxed and comfortable in my house" Barnes said with a small smile on his handsome face.

"But Sir........."

"No, no, sir. Emm, Miss Amanda has a special talent. He can read and listen to everything that is on our minds. I've tested it just now and it looks like Miss Amanda doesn't remember your name, Mister?"

"If Amanda could read and listen to other people's thoughts, I already knew. But, does he really not remember me?" ask Barnes.

"Yes Sir. I mentioned your name many times and he asked many times who Barnes was and when I said he was very different from your portrayal........"Leon stopped his words for two seconds.

"Continue!" sahut Barnes's.

Barnes then disconnects his phone and throws his phone on the dashboard of Jake's car which makes Jake jerk in shock. "I didn't slam it. I threw it" said Barnes innocently without turning to Jake.

"Mobile phones are expensive so, thrown slowly like before, will not be damaged. Who says you are poor? in fact, you can buy a speed boat" said Barnes by still looking forward and folding his hands.

"Damn! why do you even say expensive words and you even talk about speed boat anyway? Just so you know, my speed boat hasn't paid off crazy! okay, just tell me what's pissing you off?" Jake glanced at Barnes in annoyance.

Barnes let out a long sigh, "Amanda doesn't remember my name. He doesn't remember Barnes"

Jake glanced at Barnes and then he chuckled in amusement, "Rasain! Salah himself acted impulsively, buy expensive girl uh, he did not even remember you, who was patient Barnes" Jake mocked Barnes and Barnes snorted annoyedly and then turned to Jake, "Do you want me to stop funding the investigation of your case right now?"

Jake straightened his lips and immediately said, "Sorry! okay, I'm not gonna make fun of your expensive girl anymore"

"Can you stink gas? I want to go see Amanda and talk to her?" barnes asked with his feet.

"Ready Boss!" suhut Jake while pressing deeper into the gas pedal of his car.
