"Kring... Cring... Cring..."
The noise woke me up from my sleep.
After I opened my eyes, it was the sound of an alarm that used to wake me up every morning. "Ah, when again a beautiful dream" the first thing that came to mind this morning. Well, without it (this alarm) I'm not sure I can get to school on time every day anyway.
I saw the clock at 6:58, "EH!! Lothawat! I'm late! "So I shouted when I found out it was already that hour. Not late for school, but late to meet Reina in time on the way to school.
Reina is the name of the girl I like, she is from the same High School as me, we have known each other for a long time. That's since my family moved to this small town for my father's work when I was in 2nd grade Junior High. That was 3 years ago.
Right now, my family has actually returned to the big city since a year ago because my father's work here is done. But I decided to stay in this small town by renting a boarding room located in a strategic location on a road junction. To the left or north is SMA 13 and to the right or west is my school, SMAN 8. These two schools are not at all far from my boarding house.
In Kosan where I live there are quite a lot of residents with a total of 20 fully filled rooms consisting of two floors and has a bathroom on the inside for each room. My room is on the second floor and is located at the end and close to the stairs. Quite a strategic place.
Even though my parents have left this city, I decided to stay here because I have some reasons. The main reason I stayed in this city and didn't come with my parents was because of Reina, who was, he's the biggest reason I'm still in town and attending the same school he went to.
Reina is a very beautiful and sweet girl. I have known him very well and have been watching him for 3 years and know his habits very well every day, in the morning he was always on time to go to school between 7.05 and took a moment to stop at a large tree on the right side of a very shady and shady road. From there it looks a rice field with some farmers starting to do morning activities.
Today I wanted to meet him on a school trip because there was something I wanted to tell him. A feeling I've been quieting for 3 years. It has been a long time since I have taken the courage and determination for this day.
In a hurry I put on my school uniform and shoes then ran out of the boarding house in a hurry.
While running out of the boarding house over the fence, I saw two guys from the school next door talking about football scores last night. Not to eavesdrop, but while running I accidentally heard their chatter. One of them saw me running, maybe he thought "(Why does this guy seem so rushed?)"
I didn't really care about it myself because I was in a hurry to get to Reina right away. Under the legendary big tree that was on the road to our school while it was.
I'm not a believer in myths or legends, but it is said that couples who start a relationship from the tree will have a happy relationship if one of them expresses feelings under the tree. There is nothing in this city until the tree there is a myth 😅 after all, what's wrong with trying, right?
Luckily, from a distance I saw Reina walking towards the tree. Our school is not far from my boarding house and only takes 5 minutes on foot. Of course he didn't know that I would express my feelings to him. I hope it ends well.
"REIN!! " I screamed at him from behind while running towards him.
He looked at me with a slightly confused face.
By the way we are currently right under the legendary big tree I spoke of earlier, though nervous I should be able to say it. Now or not at all!!

Right after I said it in an instant I regretted it. I never knew expressing feelings to someone you really liked could be this difficult. What's more my words are why it's a little strange.

"(Ohhhh!!! he must be feeling confused right now)" I thought arguing inwardly.
Despite this awkward feel, I felt relieved to have said the feeling I had long since pacified. After a moment of silence, he answered

"I'm sorry but do you know me?"
"Thank you, I'm happy but... "
"I can't accept your feelings. I don't know you either..."
"At the moment I have a boyfriend so sorry... "
When I heard those words I thought he was joking
"EH!? you're kidding, right?" I asked in a quiet and surprised voice.
Then there was a voice calling out to Reina from behind while running towards her. A stranger I've never seen before. This guy looks handsome and taller than me, so he's Reina's boyfriend?
"I'm sorry I'm late" the man told Reina.
"It's okay, yuk left before the school bell... " Reina's voice with a smile.
"Loh, who is he? "Ask the man to Reina while looking at me.
"Oh, he's like he's just the wrong guy,... Yes, yes first" Reina said as she waved at me.
I was so surprised I couldn't say anything. How could it be that overnight my world changed completely in an unexpected direction. Who else is that guy? Since when did he know Reina. I've known Reina for 3 years and I've never seen Reina have a boyfriend other than me.
Yesterday Reina and I were still very close and went home from school together, but now Reina as the person closest to me in this city and the reason I still live in this city forgot about me overnight. I'm sure something's wrong has happened, but I don't know what happened.
Although I initially thought Reina was only joking but then I found out that everyone I knew in this city had completely forgotten about me.
What happened anyway, why did it go like this? I will definitely find out the truth....
