EPISODE IV

The sound shocked Arsen and Novian. Arsen immediately sat himself down while sliding his mirror under the blanket. He turned his head towards the voice, it turned out that it was Zacky and Ryan who were already standing at the door.

"Ah no, I'm not talking to anyone. Maybe it's just your imagination, Ky." Arsen tried to calm down so as not to see that he was nervous right now. Zacky and Ryan looked at each other, and eventually Zacky agreed with Novian. Maybe it's just his hallucination.

"We're here to make sure you're rested or not, and make sure you might need something."

"We both want to go get our stuff Nov. We'll stay here to take care of you for the next few days. Do you need anything? In the kitchen there is nothing to cook, so we want to stop by grocery shopping later." Zacky chimed in on Ryan's words.

"Ah no thanks. We'll just eat home cooking." Arsen smiled at the two of them. They nodded and closed the door and left.

"Huffttt is lucky not to be caught." Arsen took a mirror under his blanket, and displayed Novian with his flat face.

"Why are you hiding me? After all they can't see or hear me, maybe later they just think you're crazy."

"It's crazy that it's you, not me. This is your body." Arsen's remarks succeeded in making Novian silent. Arsen smiled at the victory.

"By the way, what's your name? We've been busy talking, but I don't know what your name is and where you're from."

"Hm okay. My name is Arseno Chandra Yudha. I'm only 20 years old and I'm from 2023."

"What's? 2023? A past? 10 Years ago? How's it possible?"

"That's why I say it's not easy to get back into your body. Because I'm from the past. If I count I'm 5 years older than you. So you have to respect me a little bit, boy." Arsen smiled mockingly to prank Novian. Novian just rolled his eyes lazily.

"You think I don't want to come back soon? I've started to miss my mama's nagging and my dear sister's jewels." Novian slicked his shoulders no matter what. Then Arsen spoke again.

"I think you're a pretty cool guy. But from earlier it seems like you're talking too much huhah." Arsen laughed after finishing his words.

"But I'm amazed and salute you brat, you are able to fight alone to success like this. They think I'm you and amnesiac, so can you tell me about you?" Hearing Arsen's words, Novian nodded. After all Arsen will use his body and identity while here. He also did not want his reputation to be ruined because of that old young man in front of him.

Novian started to explain everything about him. From his birth, his childhood, his school days, even the death of his mother. He also told me how he worked until he became a manager at work. But Novian didn't explain why he left his house, was it just because his father remarried?

"Yes that's it. Luna was my childhood friend. We used to be neighbors, until I was 8 years old I moved house with my mom and dad. We rarely meet. Until after High School we meet again. We were friends as usual but not as close as we used to be. Then I fell in love with a girl in the third grade of High School. I did not know that Luna had feelings for me and expressed her love, but I refused because I liked another girl. I don't know why Luna knew that girl when I told no one. It makes Luna desperate to bully the girl. I didn't know that Luna used to bully her secretly for a year and that made the girl I liked kill herself. That's why I stayed away from Luna until now."

"Tragic secret love story. That's so sorry that girl. What's-her-name? Do you go to his grave often?"

"His name is Briana Fritzi. I always visit him every Sunday. I still haven't gotten over it, and I feel like his departure is also my fault."

"Hey it's not your fault nor is it entirely Luna's fault. That was his destiny."

"I hope so." Novian sighed. I wish that what Arsen said was true.

"Then you, don't you have a boyfriend in your place?" Novian asked Arsen.

"I don't have time to think about love. I live in 2023, so I'm 20 years old there, I'd rather think about my job."

"Have." Arsen looked in annoyance at Novian. It turns out that Novian is also annoying huh. He retracted his words that Novian was indifferent and cold, stale.

"Here Arsen I'm sleepy. We'll talk again tomorrow." Novian suddenly disappeared from the mirror. Arsen only saw the reflection of his face.

"Loh heh heh Novian, don't go first. Ah, fucking boy." Arsen called Novian while patting the worn-out mirror. But Novian did not appear again. I don't know what happened to that kid. It's so annoying it's not Novian.

Due to Arsen's annoyance at staying suddenly by Novian he finally decides to sleep as well. After all there is no point in staying silent like a fool there waiting for Novian to return.

"Ky, if you just sit and look at me like that, you better go to the living room." I don't know why Ryan is tired of his best friend. It's no help even being a foreman on the table. Yes Zacky can't cook. Among the three of them only Ryan and Novian can cook, which is why he was able to open a restaurant to become famous in the city, and Novian, yes, because he lives alone, he can cook. "Ah there is no. Forget it." Zacky got off the dining table and switched to sitting in a chair while playing his posel. Ryan who heard that just flicked his shoulders, he just focused on his cooking.

"I hope Novian's memory can recover quickly." Suddenly Ryan.

"Wouldn't it be nice if Novian doesn't remember anything? She could forget everything she's been through, and could forget Briana."

"But he forgot about us fools. Do you want her close to Luna?"

"Ah right too, I don't know I just hope Novian is okay and can get out of the shadow of her past soon." Zacky refocused on his phone and chewed on his apple.

Unaware it's been 30 minutes Ryan's cooking is finally over as well. "Ky, call Novian here the food's ready."

"Start by yourself." Zacky did not care and continued to play his posel.

"Well, you don't have to eat." Ryan brought his face closer to Zacky.

Zacky's face is heating up. His heart is starting to be unsafe.

"Well kanjeng. Forgive." He immediately stood up and ran over to call Novian. Ryan who saw that smiled triumphantly. Behind her smile was full of meaning. I don't know if it's just Ryan who knows.
