Chapter 16
Daytime.
Ceo's Room.
Ben gives a small plastic clip containing drugs to Kimmy.
"Miss, this is the medicine you should take at night. Don't forget to drink it on time."
Kimmy nodded. But a sound makes Kimmy's hand hang when he will take the object.
"Ben, you should send a doctor who will give him the drug all together to keep watch. I'm not sure if anyone's acting obedient."
Ben sighed and pulled back the medicine.
Kimmy smashed his lips.
On the other hand, Kristal entered the CEO's room with her pouting face. The long steps seemed impatient to meet the owner of the room.
Brakes.
"Milo you're so mean. Already know today we're going to the villa, but still bring Kimmy meeting."
Crystal's sullen face looked cute, but to Milo it wasn't attractive.
"Kimmy is an exemplary worker, he prioritizes his obligations over his indulgences, you understand."
"CK, I'm it's my birthday to know. Instead of giving gifts even insinuating like that."
"It's good to feel." Milo said as he rose from his seat of greatness.
While Ben immediately took the equipment he would bring to go with Milo.
"Everything is ready, sir."
Milo looked at the two girls before leaving.
"Remember to always be careful about my name. Understood."
The two girls nodded obediently.
A few hours later.
In a large room, Villa Milo.
Happy birthday to you,.
Happy birthday to you,.
No more than 20 people enliven the birthday of Kristal. Where all of them are children who can be friends with him because of his father's strict selection.
Some of them are friends of friends in the campus, some are children of relatives and business partners. And all are the children of the rich.
Beside him, Kimmy who was singing "happy birthday" with a smile slowly turned tense. His eyes were closed as soon as a memory invaded his head.
The little girl who looked like her always sang the song "happy birthday" with a face full of happy smiles beside her, next to a face similar to Crystal. A moment that continues to repeat itself with the number of candles that continue to grow.
Crystal's face was now in front of the lit candle. But when his lips opened to breathe out of his mouth, suddenly the atmosphere became boisterous as Kimmy cried out in pain holding his head.
"Kimmy you why. Kimmy.." Crystal held the side of Kimmy's body that was not trying to withstand her headache.
"Hurry up and get a doctor."
Kristal anxiously takes Kimmy to the room to be helped by another friend.
Arriving at the room, Kristal still continues to hold Kimmy's arm which continues to struggle with her headache.
"Kimmy calm yourself down so you don't get sicker."
Crystal even grew more frantic seeing her sister like that.
Suddenly a friend called out to Crystal.
"Crystal, your candle is finished. Come back to just blow out the candles."
In that place, there is a belief if the birthday candle runs out because it is left, then bad luck or bad things will happen to the family of the owner of the candle.
Apparently, Kimmy can still faintly hear the sounds around her in between her pain.
"Go, I'm fine. Ah, this is your show."
'My way?' Inner Crystal looked at Kimmy for a moment with an indecipherable look. Then he went to a place where there was a candle that he had to blow immediately.
Throughout his steps the Crystal continued to deepen in his heart.
'true. This is my show, an event I purposely created to open up opportunities for you to meet other men. Call it this is the first attempt I've made for you to find a soul mate so you can leave Milo's mansion immediately.'
*Flashback
By nightfall, the two girls were in the car with satisfied faces. They were satisfied because finally the day they were waiting for arrived. A day where they could spend a full day without interference from Milo.
Kimmy bit her lip for a moment feeling bad should reject Crystal.
"Eee, I'm sorry Crystal you couldn't drive me." Crystal cringing. "Why?"
"Master said I couldn't go home if it wasn't Ben or his confidants who picked me up. Any time I'm going home I have to wait for an invitation from you."
Kristal had a glance at Kimmy who was next to him. "Milo made such a rule. Why?"
Kimmy breathed his breath lazily.
"Still the same rules. We have to be careful in his name."
Crystal is getting confused.
"What does this have to do with going home. Where did you go home?"
"To the mansion."
Ckiiiiiit…!!!
"Ohhhh!"
Kimmy flickered over his shock before sighing. He also tried to scold the crystal. "Kristal... why brake suddenly like that?? Do you know if this is dangerous?"
Silent.
Kimmy looked at the wheel. Crystal looks just speechless gripping her car steering tightly.
'Mansion? So Kimmy lives in the mansion. One roof with Milo? What if they were comfortable with each other? What if they were getting closer, how about– how—' Inner Crystal that continues to churn along with his mind that starts to spread everywhere that is clearly visible on his face. His grip grew tighter and tighter so that the Crystal hand involuntarily shook.
Seeing the Crystal's condition, Kimmy tried to call out her name.
Kimmy stretched out her hand on the Crystal arm and occasionally shook it.
"Kristal, what's wrong with you? You sick?"
"Crystals."
"Crystals.. Crystals."
*Flashback off
"CRYSTALS!!!"
"Ah. Yeah." yeah." The crystal awakens from his daydream.
"Why dream? Quickly the candle will run out."
"Ah yes." Crystal replied, who rushed over with her friend.
After arriving in front of the cake, Kristal saw for a moment the number 23 candle that had stayed half.
'On the day of my birth this year, I deliberately celebrated without my family. Birthdays and reunions, this is all I'm thinking about right now to keep you away from Milo. At least I can keep your heart away from her first.'
He closed his eyes and prayed in his heart.
'Lord, may my plan work to keep Kimby away from Milo.'
Fuuh.
The half-living candle was extinguished with one breath.

Kimmy fell asleep after being treated by a doctor.
In another room, at the moment everyone was playing billiards to fill the void after blowing candles. Some of them also sing karaoke.
In another corner, Kristal comes across a man who's done with his phone.
"Hi Rome. May I ask."
The man named Roma turned to the source of the voice.
"Hi's also a crystal." Roma answered kindly according to his character. "Tell me."
"When you're gonna blow out the candle, do you remember that girl who got sick earlier?"
Rome's forehead shriveled remembering him. "Yes, I remember."
"That's Kimby."
Rome surprised.
"Kimby…?"
