Episode 34

We continued to travel at an unusually slow pace, until the day began to darken and the sun was trying to hide behind the thick trees beside the road I was passing.

From a distance we saw a small village that seemed to be a village for the rest of the visitors.

"It looks like there's a village ahead" he said as he spurred on his carriage.

"Hmm maybe it's the second village. Let's rest there for a while before we go to the capital" I asked as I opened the window on the train and peeked at Rika and Shla who were asleep.

What a calming sight.... But maybe it's just for me.

He also immediately spurred back his two horses so that they could walk faster but maybe either because of magic or restrictions, the speed of the horse is always the same and never accelerated even though it has been ordered.

"It looks like this horse is exhausted" I said as I took over the ropes.

"Yes you're right, I'm also affected" he said, leaning against the wall of the train.

Oh yes actually the horse is a mock horse that uses magic so it is not a real horse, which is why Elves seems exhausted because his energy is taken the same horse so that the horse can walk.

I replaced him to control and cast magic on the horse, which instantly made the two horses run faster than ever.

Because the speed of the horse was now rich in horses in general, I just directed the horse towards the village which seemed to be very crowded because many lights were on and also very bright.

After driving the horse for a long time until my hands began to ache, I finally arrived in front of the village gate. But somehow the village seemed deserted without any guard standing guard in front of the gate or at the guard post when from a distance this village seemed alive.

"Hmm why is it quiet?" I said while stopping my carriage right at the guard post.

I got off the train and into the guard post, which looked empty and there was only a paper that read:

When I was looking for other items Elves who had just woke up from her sleep, immediately gave a question that is most often asked if in a trip that is:

"Jaudah let's check this village first, because if you want to rest here we have to check the situation first" I said as I walked back to the train followed by Elves in the back.

I also returned to run the train to enter the village because I felt the state of this village was almost exactly the same as the previous village.

As we entered the village it appeared from a distance, a person with a large body and carrying a large sword was also standing in the middle of the road with dozens of people behind him.

"Wah wah looks like there's a little worm coming in" said the man with the big body earlier.

(Hmm it seems like he is the leader) I said inwardly.

Because the only road in the village was being blocked by the group of people , I immediately stopped the train I was carrying and got down from there to greet the people who had disturbed my quiet journey.

" Soge!! We were hunting" said Elves, who jumped off the train and fell in a style I'd seen in a movie.

The Elves walked up to the leader of the group and said the same thing over and over again, but the leader of the group just kept quiet and raised his hand up as if he was giving a code.

Then after that came a group of people behind me and also Elves who surrounded us as well as the train in which there was Shla and also Rika who was asleep.

Actually if I was alone maybe I would just run away from this place quickly but I couldn't do it.

"Are you the one who took out my men?" he said while looking at me sharply and lustfully killing.

"Who are your men? I'm sorry well I'm a forgetful person remembering the name of the man I killed" I replied as I pulled out my spare sword.

All these men, who may number in the hundreds, begin to take out their own Staris and form a besieging formation that is often used while on the battlefield.

"Oh so it's true that you killed my men, are you looking to die?" he said while laughing arrogantly.

"Not why am I just looking for money, to survive" I replied with a friendly smile.

I saw Elves being [gratakan?] just laughing and saying a word that can make him excited is:

"Oi vampire prince, have you ever fought with hundreds of people? If you have never, you better run away there with Shla and Rika to a safe place than you tremble (fear) here" I said to Elves who was scrambling from earlier - rattling the contents of my bag that I happened to put next to Elves standing up.

"Thank you for the attention, but I know you will die if I don't help you, and maybe it will be a very nice fight" he replied, taking my other spare sword in the bag.

"Yes you're right, it's gonna be a fun fight" 

Actually I didn't want to fight them because it would be very troublesome but because I knew that these people were in a group with the robbers who attacked us yesterday, maybe I'll give them a little lesson for making my break time a waste.
