2. Refuge

Maria woke up when she felt someone breathing near her ear. Surprised maria saw left there was a sleeping lati on her shoulder, maybe not asleep but unconscious.

His hands were tied and every finger was wrapped and his mouth was covered. Anyone who catches him knows he's a witch if they don't know it they won't wrap their fingers and shut their mouths. Hands tied, fingers wrapped and mouths closed are safe ways to catch witches so they don't recite or make magic. Maria didn't see qati did she manage to escape?. Thankfully at least help will come quickly, qati will soon seek help. Relieved.
