Marrying the Virgin Duda

Marrying the Virgin Duda
Are You Kidding?

The streetlight was already on, a sign that it was getting dark. And now the clock is showing at 20:00.

All the guests have returned to the city but not Abi and his mother, because they chose to remain in Sekar village only they are now staying at a nearby hotel. The reason is very clear because they both still miss the figure of the little angel who has reunited the good relationship between mother and father.

Behind that reason, Abi actually misses the mother of her child more undeniable, since the feeling of love for Risa has been lost, since her love for Risa has been lost, the man's heart was completely empty and had no confidence that he would be able to love another woman.

But all that was denied since Sekar and his son left. It was like a sense of loss along with a longing that really made his life fall apart.

And now he admits that the heart that once had been empty, not aware if it was fully filled by the name of his ex-wife.

Indeed, sometimes as ordinary humans we can not easily forgive let alone forget the mistakes of others. But we also can not forget that God alone is still willing to forgive his creation despite repeatedly making mistakes.

Likewise with the human being called the mother, no mother has been pregnant for nine months, giving birth to her at the risk of her life. Caring for him with genuine affection will be willing if the daughter he loves is treated badly.

He will protect his heart. No exception for Mother Sekar who felt heavy to bless Abi married her son back. He was only worried that Abi would come back to hurt his daughter.

But seeing today how his daughter continues to work, made him think if surely Sekar would divide his time between taking care of his son and also working.

He knows very well the personality of his daughter, which is his mandiri nature. Surely do not like to bother parents let alone this for the needs of their children.

Because of that, his unanimous decision was back. He became worried himself until the arrival of Abi and his family made his decision clear.

"If you do it because you have to, it's better not. Just be sincere if you don't marry her again than unhappy mother." Said Sekar while holding his mother's cold hand, looking at the face of his mother who was still wearing a mukena. He has just finished fulfilling his duty.

Sekar's mother was silent, she also looked at her daughter's smiling face. He knew behind the smile was actually his daughter harboring a feeling of worry. Worried if his decision has been approved only because it was forced.

Mother patted the back of Sekar's hand, the woman was no less giving a soothing smile.

"The most important thing for mothers today is just your happiness son, I want nothing but the happiness of the children of mothers. So you don't have to worry anymore." Said the mother who is now embracing her daughter's body, her hands stroking the back of Sekar covered with long hair.

The sound of the engine that has not been turned off makes the two women of other generations outline his embrace. They're interested in who's coming home tonight.

While outside, a black luxury car stops in the courtyard of the house, who else if not Abi's.

Already pocketed the blessing of Sekar's mother, the man felt a little more daring to meet his woman in his home. And it is for this reason that the child is actually more domineering to meet both.

Not long after, simultaneously Sekar appeared from behind the door. She immediately saw the handsome face of her ex-husband who was now in front of her.

Likewise with Abi, she feels like the ABG is coming to _apple her lover. A sweet smile that always makes him miss.

But something is different with the woman, tonight. Although Sekar greeted him with a smile, but it seemed that the smile was different, like there was a burden of injury.

"Why?" asked Abi then, somehow he turned worried if Sekar actually had not fully accepted it. Seen from the attitude of Sekar who had just been silent.

While Sekar was instantly stunned as Abi asked like that.

"It's okay, we better sit here Bi. There's something I want to talk to you about" Sekar pointed at the two seats not far from the door of his house. Then Sekar first sat down and followed Abi in front of him. He handed over the two plastic bags he had brought.

Just put the two things on the table.

"I'm sorry, mas." Sekar bowed down, unable to see Abi's face. Actually he also did not want to do this, but considering his mother who did not leave the room since the Abi family came home, made him think that the blessing given by his mother was only forced, just wanted his daughter to be happy. While Sekar thought, he had hurt his mother and now he did not want to return selfish just for his happiness, although Zayn also desperately needed the figure of his father.

"I'm sorry for what that means, please tell me something clearer." The man's feeling was suddenly unpleasant, in fact he was afraid to hear the answer to what Sekar would say.

"I want to cancel it mas, I refuse our reference."

As much as Sekar's energy held back his tears, he did not want to make Abi suspicious because he saw her crying. He wanted to look ordinary in the man's eyes and hoped Abi would agree to his decision. Even though he didn't really want this to happen.

"Are you kidding me? we got my blessing from mom. We love each other too. What made you change your mind?"

"You're wrong, actually I don't love you mas, all that's just an excuse. I accepted you only because of Zayn's existence." Sekar tried to smile, trying to be strong to say a hurtful word. Because she really loves her ex-husband.

"And now that I'm home, after a few days here. I thought that I could raise Zayn on my own without you. So forgive me for playing with your feelings." Sekar gazed in the other direction, the more here his heart was getting hurt when he saw Abi's sad face.

"No, I'm sure you're kidding me. You're not a cruel woman who wants to separate a child from her father, I'm sure of that." He continued to deny that what Sekar said was not true.

"It seems like everything is clear, you know, it's night you better go home." Without saying goodbye to Abi, Sekar just entered, he even forgot the goods that were still outside. Like the man she wanted to forget from this moment on."
