Married to the Son of Tahfiz Qur'An
Chapter 20 - Falling

Adnan was silent when he found out the facts about Meyra. It turned out that she had a very dark past.

"I left my family and lived alone in the city. I choose to keep my baby. I think my life will be happy when my baby is born. But it seems like fate says something else." Unknowingly, Meyra continued to tell stories.

"I don't know what to say. But I'm sure the man who impregnated you got karma" Adnan said. Wishing that what she said would comfort Meyra.

"Eitherway. I don't even know where he is. I also reported it to the police."

"Police?" Adnan demanded an answer.

"Yes. Because that man did it forcibly to me" Meyra explained.

Adnan. Just hearing Meyra's story she's emotional. Especially if you have to experience it yourself. One of Adnan's hands even clenched tightly.

"Tell me his name. I'll punish that man for you!" adnan is determined.

Meyra shook her head while smiling faintly. "Leave it. Like you said, I'm sure he'll get some karma" he responded.

Adnan put on an empathetic gaze for Meyra. "I'm sorry, if I've been disrespectful to you before" he said.

"Yes, you are a bit arrogant. But I can understand him" Meyra said.

"Come on." Adnan's face flushed. He became ashamed of himself for acting like an employer to Meyra. The woman chuckled as she looked at Adnan's behavior.

Not felt, the rain is down. Adnan started running his car back.

"Now I know why your attitude is so exaggerated when I touch you" Adnan said.

"Yes, I think it traumatized me a little bit. I'm not sure if I can be in a relationship with a man" Meyra said with a rude snort. He seemed to stroke his own arm several times. Meyra felt quite cold because of the weather and also the car's cooling engine.

"No! I'm fine" Meyra replied. "You went overboard after hearing stories about me" he commented.

"You don't like it? Should I still be arrogant in front of you?" reply Adnan while focusing on driving. Naturally, he and Meyra became increasingly familiar.

"I told you about me. But I don't know much about you." Meyra glanced at Adnan.

"There's nothing interesting about me other than the fact that I'm an atheist."

"really?" Meyra rounded her eyes.

"Yes, I've lived in London since I was a kid. When I graduated High School I moved to Indonesia and continued my studies here." Adnan. "I initially refused to live here, but when I went to college and met Ehsan, everything changed" he added.

"You're weird. Most people go abroad to study. But you're doing the opposite."

"It happened because of circumstances."

Adnan and Meyra's conversation ended when they arrived home. Adnan immediately parked the car carefully. Next he and Meyra came out simultaneously.

Just coming, Amena's cry immediately welcomed. Meyra also gets a call from the baby sitter who is looking after Amena. The baby sitter tells her that the milk supply for Amena is up.

As a result, Meyra hurriedly galloped. He did not even see the slippery mossy road anymore. A bad incident happened to him.

Meyra slipped and fell. The peach-colored knee-length dress she wore became torn.

"Mayira!" seeing Meyra fall, Adnan hurriedly helped. But he was wrong when he saw Meyra's groin which was clearly visible because of the tear of the dress.

Meyra was uncomfortable. He was in pain as well as confusion covering his groin which was unintentionally visible.
