The door of the room opened, Logan walked into Elthan's study followed Gian behind him. Logan pulled up a chair and sat down in front of Elthan who had been staring at him but said nothing.

Logan knows very well how Elthan feels right now, the man must be very sad and worried because of the loss of Nova. He has tried to find Nova everywhere but only has not produced results. But according to Logan's premonition that Nova was still in the city, his men had checked all the airports and no flight records on Nova's behalf.

"Listen to me!, this is not another Mafia act, there is someone who really just wants to hurt Nova." Logan said as he took a deep breath.

"Call her Miss Elthan !." Replying with annoyance, Elthan knew that Nova considered Logan a pretty handsome man, so she would not let him call Nova by name.

"Whatever." Logan said frowning, he was surprised in this situation his attitude was still childish.

"Did you know something related to his personal life?, his past, perhaps? Or who's gonna try to hurt him?" Ask Logan seriously.

Elthan frowned as she tried to think of who that person was. "Nova's relationship with her parents is not good. But there's no way they're doing this. But her ex-husband is a violent psychopath but she is in police custody and rehabilitation" Elthan said. All this time he could not think well — his mind was numb since Nova disappeared due to the fear of losing him which was too excessive..

"Are you sure that her ex-husband is still in police custody?" asked Gian this time while frowning.

"Let's check !." Logan said after he saw the uncertain expression on Elthan's face.

Elthan and Logan immediately order their men to find out about Ardan's whereabouts.

Three hours later Elthan learned that Nova's ex-husband had escaped from prison and was currently in pursuit.

Elthan immediately stood up after hearing all this.

"Prepare to visit Nova's ex-husband's house !." Elthan.

Meanwhile, Nova had just opened her eyes when she felt her stomach rumble. For three days he had not eaten rice, for the stranger had given him only bread and a glass of water.

Suddenly the door of the room opened, because the light was too bright to make Nova could not see who was entering. The woman looked up, her eyes narrowed with a sense of glare.

"Hi, my ex-wife."

Nova's breathing quickens as her memory returns to the scene where she almost died at Ardan's hands. Especially now that Ardan's face was getting clearer he saw.

Many questions are on Nova's mind, one of which is why Ardan was there when the man was in brackets at the rehab center.

"Are you surprised ?." Asked Ardan with a grin on his face.

"No." Nova replied trying to calm down, he did not want to tell the man that he was currently so frightened.

"Did you miss me ?". Ardan asked again, bowing and drawing his face to Nova's face.

" Answer me !. Do you miss me ?." Bisik Ardan, hoping Nova will say yes.

"I thought you were cured, but you're getting crazy." Reply Nova with a laugh.

Ardan frowned, he did not like the woman's answer. His face turned red with anger and merciless Ardan slapped Nova's face repeatedly. Nova could feel the blood flowing at the corner of her lips.

Ardan roughly pulled Nova's hair back until the woman looked up, but Nova did not show any pain, he even smiled mockingly at Ardan.

"Did your anger only get here as a psychopath ?." Nova asked in a mocking tone.

"You..." Ardan pointed his index finger at Nova's face, while his other hand tighter and tighter pulled Nova's hair. "You're gonna regret all this."

"really ?."

The anger on Ardan's face instantly dissipated upon hearing Nova's question. But a moment later a sinister smile rose on Ardan's face.

"Did you remember when I was angry when I heard you were pregnant and I wanted to kill that child?.have you known Nova back then I knew that you weren't pregnant, but this time I'm really gonna kill the kid in your womb." Ardan

Instantly Nova's face instantly turned pale, what did the man mean ?. Nova's memory goes back to the incident that night where he and Elthan accidentally had a husband and wife relationship. Nova did not expect that she was pregnant at this time.

Ardan pushed back Nova's body and pulled out a knife. He pointed the sharp object into Nova's stomach.

"Why are you surprised ? Didn't you know you were pregnant ?." Ardan asked, turning the knife back on Nova's flat stomach.

Nova's face grew pale, not sure if she was pregnant. But if that's true he has to protect his son.
