Riveria is driving the car at high speed, chasing the timing of meetings with investors from Singapore at the Rangga restaurant. Cafe Nostalgia is not just a place for young people to hang out for coffee or light snacks but the concept is like Fine dining which provides heavy meals such as pasta and steak. Wine choices are also different.
Today was supposed to be the first day of training at Delightful Insurance where Riveria applied as a freelance Financial advisor, so his work is part-time not tied to office hours there except Monday time for a full meeting with all management ranks.
Suddenly Rangga increased the hours of meeting with investors because they canceled coming in the afternoon because after a meeting in Jakarta the Investor made a business trip back in Hong Kong.
Rangga asked for his help to become his partner as F&B Consultant at his new restaurant just six months running. He could not divide his time between his main job at the hotel and taking care of his new business. Although Restaurant Fine dining at the hotel where Riveria and Rangga are on duty is closing due to management policies related to the decline in income caused by this covid19 pandemic, the, the position of Rangga as Sous chef is still needed by the hotel for the overall restaurant operational management.
Riveria who was in temporary residence by the hotel management welcomed Rangga's offer after a while ago Rangga made a personal approach to him. Special Romantic dinner as a starting point move on from the past. Earlier in the night, it was clear that Riveria asked Rangga to slowly start a close friendship because he was not ready for more than just friends for now.
Rangga's professional attitude and wise nature that makes Riveria accept Rangga's offer. He does not want to be awkward in his involvement in their projects later.
As F&B Consultant Riveria will discuss a lot with investors from Singapore, compiling budgets, restaurant concepts and so on to hiring employees. Cafe Nostalgia has been on the rise for six months and investors want significant changes in management, menu, and concept and human resources. Luckily the Nostalgia cafe was not too affected by the pandemic impact of covid19 . What is grateful for is being able to retain employees and provide jobs to others.
