Bayu left the room with doubt, in the deepest recesses of his heart, he felt happiness when grandfather said he wanted to marry Shinta to himself. What might this be is a feeling of love that he himself has never felt or just a feeling of happiness because grandfather so appreciates it.
Question after question swirled in his head to make Bayu dizzy, the cure to eliminate his dizziness was only one that was facing, telling stories, complaining and begging for directions from the giver of life. This is what Bayu always does when he has difficulty making decisions.
Currently the best place for him to do that is to go to a mosque or mosque, there Bayu will feel calm until he can decide what he should do next.
Bayu continued to step out towards the mosque where he used to pray with Shinta, Bayu's steps stopped when he heard the sobbing sound of a girl, his eyes looked around looking for the origin of the voice, and his eyes looked around, under a shady tree, he saw Shinta sitting crying.
Shinta focused, covering her face on both knees until people did not recognize her, only a soft cry almost inaudible if people passing by were not observant of her hearing. Shinta is confused as to who he will tell his heart sorrow especially now he does not have anyone else for his place to complain after his parents died.
The decision of Grandpa who disapproves of his relationship with Irfan and wants to match him up with others puts him in a dilemma.
One side is the lover he loves and is now angry, leaving him because Irfan says Shinta can't defend him in front of Grandpa, and on the other hand he is also heavy to oppose the decision of Grandpa who is the only family left besides the condition of the grandfather who is now still making Shinta worried.
Bayu approached Shinta, he sat in front of her and looked pity, Bayu felt guilty for
indirectly, it is certain that he is the cause of Shinta crying, even though Shinta does not know it yet. Bayu deliberately cleared his throat to let Shinta know if there are people nearby and hope Shinta wants to talk to him.
Hearing Deheman Shinta's voice instantly raise his face, he was shocked when he saw Bayu. Bayu held out a handkerchief so that Shinta wiped her tears, then Bayu said," Remove your tears, your face is very ugly if you cry, see your eyes like a bogem" said Bayu.
Shinta wiped her tears, she looked down and did not dare to look at Bayu, she knew she was very ugly after crying.
Seeing Shinta just silent Bayu then said, "If you need someone to share a story, I'm ready to be your friend" said Bayu who tried to offer friendship.
After a moment of silence Bayu then continued his words, "But if you need a quiet place, a place to complain, a place to spill all your sorrows without anyone having to know, come along, come along, I promise I will take you there" Bayu said as he extended his hand.
Shinta then said, "Alright, I choose the second one, I do want a quiet place" Shinta said as she stood up and ignored Bayu's hand.
Bayu continued walking and Shinta followed behind him, then Bayu stopped in front of the mushollah. Shinta who saw Bayu stopped then said, "Why is it not time to pray, you promise to take me to a quiet place?", asked Shinta.
"Yes.this is where it belongs. Worship, come in, bow down and complain, tell me all your grief, only He is the best friend for where you tell stories. Believe me, Istikharah prayer is now and if it is not calm also later tonight you can continue with tahajud prayer. If you do not understand the procedure, on the bookshelf there is a guidebook about the second prayer, please read it, understand it and then do it, I will wait for you while praying too", said Bayu while stepping into the toilet boy.
Shinta who is still in doubt finally according to what Bayu said, he went to the place of ablution and entered the mosque using the prayer available there, looking for the book referred to by Bayu, read it until he understood then he began to pray istikharah.
In his prostration Shinta asked God to be given peace, given a good choice for the problems he was facing.
Allah says in Joseph verse 86 :
Prophet Ya’qub ‘alaihis greeting says,
...إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لا تَعْلَمُونَ...
...“Verily, it is to Allah that I complain of my sorrow and sorrow, and I know from Allah that which ye know not (Joseph :86)...
After performing the prayer, Shinta walked out, he saw Bayu waiting for him there.
When they returned, outside the room, the grandfather had been waiting for a woman with two children under five, she was the wife of the late Mr. Driver who died in an accident with the Shinta family. He came to the hospital at Grandpa's request.
Bayu and Shinta then inform him and ask Sister Chintya to allow him to enter to meet Grandpa despite bringing a toddler. Because he was confused to leave his son with whom, his entire family lived outside the area.
Sister Chyntia finally allowed them to enter on condition that it shouldn't take too long. Grandfather welcomed the arrival of his late driver's wife and he again said sorry.
Grandpa telephoned his lawyer to prepare a certificate of purchase of a house complete with the contents above the name of the deceased's wife, and make a letter of agreement that the family of Hakim Pradana will bear all the living expenses and school fees of the children until they finish college. If Grandpa dies the implementation of this agreement will be continued by the grandfather's heirs.
This is deliberately made in writing, witnessed by Shinta and Bayu, so that the agreement has legal force.
Almarhum's wife cried, she was very grateful to the Pradana family, especially grandfather, she did not demand anything because she thought the incident was the will of God, after all during her husband's work in the Pradana family, the deceased has been treated as well as possible by the Grandfather of the Judge.
Grandpa then called the office driver to take the deceased's wife home and promised the grandfather's lawyer would deliver the letters the day after and hand over the house keys.
As per the instructions from Sister Chintya, they had to leave the room immediately for grandfather to rest.
Bayu and Shinta invite the deceased's wife to sit outside while waiting for the arrival of the office driver who will take them home.
They chatted a lot, reminiscing about the loyalty of the deceased during work in the Pradana family, which according to Shinta's story, the driver since single has worked in his family and is a very friendly person, he said, good and honest too.
Then Bayu and Shinta invited the deceased sons and daughters who were toddlers to buy snacks in the cafeteria and accompany them to play in the hospital yard.
The two boys' cuteness makes Shinta happy and can laugh freely, Shinta feels back to having a sister and can momentarily forget the problem.
While playing, the office driver arrived to pick up the deceased's wife and children. This makes Shinta again moody, but the deceased's wife promises Shinta may visit them if she misses the figure of a sister and is willing to come if Shinta needs a sister as a playmate.
