"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun" said Zaidan.
Delmira was surprised from her seat, she stepped quickly into the patient's bed.
"Simbok," said Delmira shook Sa'diyah's shoulder, her hand immediately wiped the tears that were accommodated in the eyes so as not to fall on Sa'diyah's body.
Sapphira's expression was no less surprised either. He stood looking like a dazed person. His eyes shed tears. His legs felt heavy stepping into the patient's bed to get closer to his symbol.
"Waste," sapira said, and suddenly his body felt light, his eyes twitched, everything looked dark and finally the body fell to the floor.
Delmira rushed to Safira to hear the body fall to the floor.
"Astaghfirullah haladhim, Safira," exclaimed Delmira, holding the boy to get on the sofa.
Zaidan Gegas called on the nurses to handle everything.
Two hours passed. Safira had fallen on the bed.
Many neighbors came, to offer condolences. Sahutan people who give gifts of fatikha and surah Yasin also sounded unrelenting.
Some people are also busy arranging flowers to be paired on a coffin. Some are busy bathing the body and other things for the funeral procession.
"Where is Sap going?" lontar Delmira saw Sapphira coming down from the bed.
"You meet Sumpah," answered Sapphira, his eyes immediately dewy.
"Let me accompany" Delmira bargained directly with Safira.
Although the road is not powered but he must see the symbol for the last time. Sapphira stopped on a body that was already stiff and covered with a cloth.
"Don't let our tears fall on the late Simbok" Delmira recalled.
Sapphira opened the cloth that covered her symbolic face. A smile Safira showed to the sewage who had been nurturing him. Then, he kissed the old woman's forehead which seemed to be emitting that radiant white face.
"Waste, may the good charity of Sampah be received by Allah and Allah also forgive all the caliphs that Simbah had done," muttered Safira, then his hand moved to cover the face of the dahah Sa'diyah with a covering cloth.
"Sir, I'll take the wudu."
Delmira nodded and returned to take Safira.
After taking the wudu, they sat in front of the corpse while chanting the Quran.
Time goes on for not a second to stop.
The house of Sa'diyah began to look lonely, however, sometimes there are those who come to worship even though the body has been buried.
"Later tonight we will spend the night here" Delmira told Zaidan.
"It is better that way, there is no way Sapphira will be left alone" Zaidan said.
The Sa'diyah brothers happened to have no one to go far and they lived nearby so that the funeral could be done quickly. Even at half-five in the afternoon, the funeral procession was completed.
Evening day came. Some people who attended the tahlil event have returned home, there are some people who deliberately went home late. They are the brothers of Mbok Sa'diyah. The tahlil event was deliberately held after Isya.
A car was parked in the courtyard of Sa'diyah's house. Two people got out of the luxury car.
They rushed up the steps to the terrace of the house of Sa'diyah.
"Assalamualaikum," he said.
"Waalaikum salam," answered who still sat lesehan on the porch of the house.
Verel and Raka greeted the 4 people who were still sitting there.
Zaidan smiled welcoming Verel and Raka's hand.
"She can't come?" seloroh Zaidan's.
"I decided it was better to come" Verel said.
"Thank God you can come. Have seat. I called Delmira and Safira first" Zaidan said.
Both Raka and Verel joined in sitting among those who had sat first.
Safira and Delmira walked from the inside. They then sat down among the others
"Sorry, new can come, time can be heard from Zaidan, our position is there is a very urgent thing and we can not just stay," said Verel gave an excuse.
"We who are sorry have troubled you. However, you know the late Mbok Sa'diyah. So we are unlikely not to tell you this sad news. I, especially Sapphira, am so grateful that you have come. Please pray, may Simbok be forgiven all his sins," said Delmira at length.
"Of course, I pray the same. Actually, I was also very surprised to hear this sad news. And yet one week we meet at your wedding reception" said Verel.
"More us, because Simbok does not want us to worry. He did not tell her his true condition" said Delmira.
"Safira, who is stoic," Verel continued to turn to Safira.
Safira nodded, his gaze down.
Raka continued to stare at the boy, really he was so sorry to see the boy who usually talked a lot just keeping quiet.
"Raka," call Verel to have his assistant talk to Safira.
"Raka," repeated Verel but Raka remained unmoved just staring without a blink of Safira.
Verel could only snort.
Flashback.
Verel and Raka have arrived at Soekarno Hatta airport. They just got out of the car. Their feet stepped toward the plane ticket exchange.
The plan is they will fly to the country of Maurice, of course, will visit the company.
"Delmira," Verel muttered as his phone vibrated and saw the phone screen with the name of the caller.
"Waalaikum salam," answered Verel slightly disappointed that it turned out to be a voice from across the man's voice and it was certain that Zaidan, Delmira's husband.
Verel was silent, listening carefully to what Zaidan was saying.
"What?!" to Verel's surprise after hearing everything, "what time will you be buried?"
"Oh." Verel said with one word, his eyes shifting to the wrist.
"OKAY. Sorry, maybe we can't come because there's something very important and urgent. We can only pray, may Mbok Sa'diyah get the best place from God," Verel said, then hung up his phone.
Raka's eyes immediately turned to face the boss when he heard the name Simbok Sa'diyah and about death.
"What's up, sir?" telisik Raka was full of curiosity.
"Mbok Sa'diyah is dead" replied Verel.
"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun," said Raka in a soft voice, "when is that? Yesterday we just met with a symbol," said Raka, his face looks worried.
"Newly," said Verel, his eyes now staring carefully at Raka who was still silently sculpting.
Verel knew that between Raka and Sapphira there was a close relationship. Although the relationship cannot be explained through clarity. So, most likely he was worried about her.
"You're going to mourn?" lontar Verel stared at his assistant with a full stare.
"We will fly to Maurice" said Raka, but her face was clearly sad.
Verel sounded grimly, "You don't want to know the state of the boy?" ledek Verel's.
"I mean Sir?" lontar turned Raka, but she clearly knew what Verel said.
"We cancel flight to Maurice. Call Raymond to get the car to the airport!" order Verel, turn the steps to get out of the airport.
Flashback.
"Hey, are you just going to be quiet?" ledek Verel is elbowing his assistant.
Raka immediately woke up from the daydream.
"She was very worried about you being a boy" Verel said.
"The stoic one" said Raka to Safira. Somehow it felt so unbearable to see the girl mute and the look on her face full of deep sadness.
Safira nodded in return. His mouth was too weak to talk.
They then talked in addition to talking about various virtues mbok Sa'diyah during his lifetime.
"I went inside first Ma'am," said Safira, he felt very tired, he would also perform prayers first before laying down in bed.
"Yes, you better rest" said Delmira.
Raka could only stare at the boy entering the house until Sapphira's body was lost behind the wall.
Finished talking here and there, finally Verel and Raka chose to leave.
Zaidan drove Verel to the car.
"Jaga Delmira" said Verel.
"Without you telling me to do it" continued Zaidan.
Verel chuckled, "Just look out if you don't take care of him! I can take him anytime."
Zaidan pulled one corner of his lips, his head shaking slowly.
"I won't let that happen!" sulk Zaidan, "You have a wife, take care of her!"
Verel pulled the two already on his lips, "My wife is my business. However, your wife will also be my business if someone hurts her."
"Have come home, be careful on the road" cried Zaidan.
"OK," said Verel still with a smile because he knew Zaidan did not really throw him out.
Verel immediately got into the car and sat in the driver's seat. His eyes glided towards Delmira who chose to stand on the porch of the house.
Verel waved to Delmira. While Delmira replied with a nod.
Zaidan stared alternately at Delmira and Verel. Honest in the bottom of the heart, although the wife obviously wants to keep her distance but somehow the jealousy appears.
"He's perfect for me. I also hope you give her perfect grades. If at any time there is an imperfection seen in Delmira, you must still accept her with less and more," Verel told Zaidan but his eyes still pointed at Delmira.
"I will always remember this wise advice from you" Zaidan replied.
Verel turned to look toward Zaidan.
"Usually, Delmira would remind me to greet her before I left. This time he didn't do that, but I remember him."
Verel took a deep breath.
"Assalamualaikum," added Verel.
"Waalaikum salam" said Zaidan.
The car drove away too.
Zaidan stood there until the car was invisible as far as his eyes could see.
'Can I categorize you as my rival?' zaidan's inner monologue, his lips forming a smile.
