"It's not what you think Xil is. I never thought of you that way. Why does it have to be like this?" Nathan was sitting limp on the sofa scooping his face with his right hand.
"Xil forgive me" he said regretfully.
While Chexil after exiting the room, with a step that stumbled he dragged his suitcase into the elevator then he came out of the apartment, directly into the online taxi that had been booked earlier.
Chexil saw Nathan's back running towards the apartment. But he doesn't care. His disappointment with Nathan's attitude was deep. He no longer wanted to add to the wound in his heart from expecting too much.
Chexil wiped his tears and looked away. She did not want to waver just from looking at the body of the husband.
Taxis drove smoothly through the streets and through a cafe crowded with young people.
Chexil only realized he had not had lunch when his stomach was rumbling.
"I can't stop here!" the order was on the taxi driver.
The driver also complied. He stopped his car and dropped Chexil off in front of the cafe. Before getting off the taxi first Chexil put powder on his cheek to disguise the marks he cried earlier.
"Sir, how crowded, what's wrong?" ask him to someone wearing a servant's shirt.
"Begini loh Mbak, this place is newly opened, so the owner of this place gives free food to visitors within a day only. They also invited some of the capital's artists to the cafe's opening."
"Oh that's it, ma'am, the pantesan people are enthusiastic about entering this place."
"Yes, please come in!"
"Thank you, Ma'am."
Wow, I got free food.
Sure enough when he entered the cafe, he was immediately presented with the appearance of the capital singer who had melodious voices. However, Chexil did not care, all he needed now was to eat instead of see the show.
Chexil went inside and took a seat in a corner of the room. He put his suitcase behind him sitting down.
A few moments waiters came asking for food orders. Chexil also ordered heavy food because his body was very hungry.
No waiting for long for the order to arrive. It turns out that the cafe owner had anticipated that visitors would explode that day by preparing many waiters so that they did not keteteran serve visitors.
Chexil was enthusiastic about eating his food. In addition to the hunger that was wracked, he also had to restore his stamina which now seemed weak.
"Hey, are you here?" fani asked when she saw Chexil sitting down and eating.
"Fani? Are you here too? Didn't you guys sell somewhere else?" Chexil asked back.
"Yes Xil, but because we heard it was crowded here so we moved here. SPG should be able to read the market. Where more people we approach," said Fani chuckled.
"Yes-yes you are right. Don't want to eat? It's free, you know."
"Already. By the way, you were the same Nathan. Where are the people?"
"Oh, he went to the toilet earlier" Chexil told a lie.
This time he didn't want anyone to know where he was going. Besides he doesn't know where they could potentially tell Nathan about his whereabouts later. Fortunately, the suitcase he put was blocked by a large ornamental flower pot so it was not clearly visible.
"Bak here!" call a woman to Fani. There were several women gathered by his side.
"I went there first, Xil, it looks like it will sell the product."
"Yes there, passion and hopefully really in demand."
"Ready Xil," Fani said as she walked away.
As they chatted, the host invited someone to take the stage to replace the previous artist.
As usual, Chexil did not care about everything because after Fani left he focused on eating his food back.
Until finally Chexil was silent when the owner of the voice on the stage sang a song that touched his heart.
How it should
Make you fall for me?
I wrote a million poems
Convince you to return my love
Should I die because of you?
Buried in sadness all the time
Should I give up my life?
Only for the love that might kill me
Stop my heart pulse
Without you knowing how holy my heart is
To have you
In the trough of your soul knocked me?
Teach you the language of feeling
Your heart will no longer freeze
Should I die because of you?
Buried in sadness all the time
Should I give up my life?
Only for the love that might kill me
Stop my heart pulse
Without you knowing how holy my heart is
To have you
There is no room in your heart for me
Who could possibly stop by?
Just a coolant at kulayu
I'm waiting for you until the end of time, oh
(This song was popularized by Ada Band, one of the famous bands in the country entitled Should I Die).
Unknowingly the song reminds Chexil of his struggle to get the heart of the husband all this time. The moments with Nathan, back in his memory. From the first time he met, when he got help, marriage, all the accusations until now he decided to leave his life.
Finally, the lashes must be wet again and the cheeks that have been polished with makeup must again be flooded by tears.
"God strengthen me" he prayed to God in his heart.
During crying he doesn't care around. Some people looked at her and thought she was animating the song to tears.
Chexil was unaware that the song was over because his memory was not over.
"Xill!" Someone patted Chexil on the shoulder and sat down on the chair in front of him.
Chexil was aghast at who was sitting in front of him now. However, moments later she realized that the person in front of her was not Nathan, the husband but Tristan the sister-in-law.
"Tris are you here?" chexil asked and immediately wiped his tears.
Tristan cringing. "So you didn't know that the one that was singing was me?"
Chexil.
Tristan looked at Chexil's face. He realized that the woman had just cried.
"You crying? Is your brother hurting you again?"
Chexil. "No Tris," she lied.
"Why are you crying?"
"I just love the song you sing. You're great Tris can make people baper with your song," she said.
"You're not lying, are you, Xil?"
Chexil.
"It must be because like your story is the same Brother used to be Xil. Not anymore, right?"
"No Tris, now your brother is fine."
"Thank God then." Tristan breathed a sigh of relief.
"Tris!" Someone called Tristan.
"I went there first Xil. Don't go anywhere! I'll be back here again."
Chexil nodded but as Tristan left, he hurriedly picked up the suitcase and left the place in a hurry.
Seriate.
