9. Decisions

Elijah kept his promise to Arthur to come home before dinner. After parking his car in the garage Elijah immediately went into the house by dragging his suitcase. Mariana and Malika who were chatting in the living room simultaneously looked at Elijah with different views. Mariana with a flat and cold face and Malika with a scornful look.

"Wow look at the young mistress who did not want to come with the junkyard" Malika said sarcastically and impressed disdain.

'Let's talk to you, Miss Malika! " arthur's reprimand that arrived - came from inside and took over Elijah's suitcase. "Let's take young lady to my room."

Arthur accidentally calls Elijah to the young lady in front of Malika to let her know the position of Elijah in the house.

Elijah nodded respectfully to Mariana before stepping following Arthur.

Malika who was reprimanded Arthur felt unacceptable. He looked at Mariana as if asking for help.

" Aunty... "

"If you please talk to me in control, if you see you're rude like that aunt doesn't guarantee you're safe."

"Not defending dear, but aunt does not want you to get in trouble." replied Mariana while rubbing Malika's head gently with affection. However, Malika is her nephew who she considers like her own child. Although she knew Malika was a proud and arrogant person.

Meanwhile, Arthur escorts Elijah's suitcase into Yuri's room.

"Let the waiter finish your books El."

"No need uncle, El has used to clean up my own needs.'

Arthur nodded his head before leaving. But before he reached the door Elijah stopped his steps.

" Uncle... em.. does Malika also live in this house? "

"No El, as far as uncle knows he lives in the apartment. Wh why? "

"It's okay - what uncle." Elijah replied with a smile full of relief for not going to one house with the girl. Elijah felt he had nothing wrong with Malika, but somehow the girl was always being rude to him.

When dinner time arrives, Lucky and Mariana sit down at the table. Not to miss Malika also sat down to join dinner at Mariana's request.

"Arthur please call Yuri and Elijah to come down! " lucky commands Arthur who is always ready near Lucky.

Arthur codes one of the servants to call Elijah. It was not long before Elijah came to the table. Lucky who saw Elijah immediately greeted him with a smile full of gentleness.

"Who where is Yuri, why are you going down alone? " ask Lucky who doesn't see Yuri behind Elijah.

"Sister Yuri hasn't come home yet" Elijah replied in a soft voice.

"Not home yet? where is he really? "

"El didn't know because after coming home from the hotel, Yuri's sister left again without saying where to go."

"Sorry sir, this afternoon the young master left for Russia" replied Arthur who actually wanted to tell Lucky about Yuri's departure after lunch.

"What??? " Lucky shouted loudly in shock at hearing Yuri had returned to Russia without saying goodbye. "El... Yuri didn't take you away?"

Elijah who was also shocked to hear Yuri had left only replied by shaking his head. The dinner moment became quiet. It's like losing appetite.

"It's better we eat first pa, later mama will contact Yuri" said Mariana trying to melt the atmosphere. Lying if he is not surprised, but as a wife he is worried that Lucky will miss dinner which will harm his body.

Elijah was still dumbstruck and did not take any food. Yuri's departure seemed to slap him, he was embarrassed and felt disposed of.

Elijah did not answer and only nodded his head before taking the food.

Meanwhile Malika did not speak at all, but her face was radiant - a series. A plan arrived - it suddenly crossed his mind. He glanced cynically at Elijah.

They ate in silence, Elijah who had finished first chose to go to the room. Elijah looked up at the suitcase he hadn't opened. After thinking for a while he decided not to unpack his suitcase.

A few moments later there was a sound of the door being knocked.

"El. Lucky is waiting for you in the study" said Arthur as Elijah opened the door.

"Let's take your uncle there."

Without a word Elijah follows Arthur to Lucky's downstairs study.

"Come in! " lucky's voice came from inside when Elijah knocked on the door. As soon as entering as usual Elijah greeted a shady face and the soft voice of Lucky.

"Papa apologizes El, as a parent papa feel embarrassed and failed to educate Yuri" said Lucky with a choked voice. "Papa is ashamed that he has left you without a word and papa feels like he failed to educate her to be a responsible man. Your marriage was due to an arranged marriage, but she shouldn't have done this to you."

Elijah was still silent and had not said anything to respond to Lucky's words.

"Papa's gonna drag that kid back here again El, I promise you."

"Don't pa, leave brother Yuri with his choice."

"What do you mean El? "

Finally with a heavy heart Lucky let Elijah go on condition that he leave tomorrow morning and did not break contact with him. In his heart Lucky promised to teach his only son a lesson.

After Elijah exits his study, Lucky immediately contacts someone.

"Destroy the company held by Yuri Romanov without rest" said Lucky who without waiting for an answer from his interlocutor immediately closed his phone.
