Marriage With Lecturer

Marriage With Lecturer
Chapter 25

At the Darren Police Station, he is seen sitting quietly answering every question asked by the police who are currently on duty to interrogate him.

"Well, whose name were you, sir?" asked Tedi a policeman who was currently staring at Darren and Agna in turn.

"Darren," the man replied briefly.

"What's the job, Father?"

"I work in a hospital and one of the most famous universities in Jakarta." Darren answered truthfully, because the man never liked lies.

"May I see the An– ID card" Uncompleted Tedi sentence the male voice that just came first is heard making the police sentence disconnected .

"He's my son and daughter-in-law. So, release him," said Al who suddenly stood behind Agna and Darren with a distance of only three meters.

The policeman named Tedi just stood up and bowed a sign of respect to Al. Because the police did not think that the villagers next door even wrongly arrested people.

"Sorry sir, I have absolutely no idea that they are your son and daughter-in-law." Tedi repeated his sentence several times, as the policeman had no compelling reason not to trust Al. Because Al is a person who has contributed a lot in helping the police to solve severe cases such as drugs and even corruption cases.

"Let them go because they are married couples" Al said, showing a duplicate of Darren and Agna's marriage book. "This is proof, and Mr. Tedi can release them. Because I think it's all about misunderstanding."

Tedi quickly nodded as he opened the handcuffs in the hands of the married couple who were currently looking at their faces so sourly staring at him a bit sharply.

"Dad." Lirih Agna who now turned around while standing up and immediately ran to hug the father. The handcuffs on the girl's hands were opened.

Because apparently a few minutes ago, Agna had secretly sent a message to Al with the rest of the battery power that the girl had.

While Darren at that second also could immediately breathe with relief, because his in-laws came on time.

"Now let's go home, it's almost late at night" said Al who returned his daughter's embrace. "Ren, you can go home with Om Bagas, he is now outside and for Agna let him go home with Dad."

Darren who had to return to the hospital quickly nodded. "Okay, then I'll go first. Please take care of Agna." Darren chimed in with his father-in-law as he passed away, after which the man had said goodbye.

"You must be careful on the road, and tell Om Bagas not to speed with his car!" al exclaimed when he saw the back of his son-in-law began to disappear behind the door of the police station.

"Mr Al, once again I'm sorry." Tedi repeated his words apologizing to Al. Because that cop is really feeling bad at the moment.

"It's Ted, it's okay that the most important thing is just a misunderstanding." Al patted the police shoulder slowly. "Good job, I want to go home first. Because my daughter seems to be sleepy."

"Then I'll escort you to the front, sir." With a polite tone maybe Tedi said that to Al.

***

"Why are you using the event to ask for help from the citizens?"

"Darren must have told me everything. So, Dad asked me all this. Just watch out for me sum lecturer!" gerutu Agna who even sat up instead of answering the question of the father.

"Agna, I asked why are you asking the residents for help after you managed to jump from the car?"

Deg ....

Agna's heart seemed to be stopping beating for a moment, because of the question Al the middle-aged man repeated again.

"Dad, did Darren tell you everything?" Agna now even asked back timidly.

"It wasn't your husband who told me about Dad" Al replied as he glanced at his daughter several times.

"Then who?" Agna asked again because the girl was very curious.

Al gently stroked Agna's hair affectionately while replying, "Agna, that cop over there was a friend of Dad's. So, he's the one who told Dad everything, and I really hope you never do that again because what you're doing is Agna's fault."

Al's gaze was so shady that he always looked at Agna sharply if his daughter made a mistake. But this time Al looks very different.

"Dad please very much, don't ever do that again because I love Agna so much. Because if something bad happens to you then you will not be able to forgive yourself, this father himself" said Al.

Agna looked down because at this time the girl suddenly regretted her actions which seemed very rash if she made a decision without thinking about the cause and consequences.

"I'm sorry .. I promise I'll never do it again, Dad."

"Yes, don't repeat it again because your life is just one Agna, not nine like a cat that is free to jump from wherever it wants. Because their lives are many," said Al who even sounded joking.

While Agna who heard that just smiled, while rubbing the clear details that had dripped on the smooth cheeks of the girl.

"Don't tell this to Mommy, yes," asked Agna as the girl imagined Ranum's facial expression. "Dad, promise me not to tell Mother."

"Yes, I'll keep this a secret as long as you don't be reckless. How does Agna agree?"

Agna nodded. "Okay, I agree. Father is indeed the man I love most in this world," said the girl sincerely.
