...***...
The sound of a series of footsteps entering his hearing, no matter the people passing by enjoying the autumn, the girl still enjoyed her solitude by pulling over to the side of the road. Sitting leaning against a fallen maple tree, looking at people laughing with their partners. Some even go with family.
The girl with the black mane looked down. Pat the chest a few times with a fist as the tightness inside was burning.
"You don't want to run away from your house, do you?"
The voice made the cry of the little girl disappear. Look up. A pair of eyes with ocean-blue neutrals glistening brightly in the sunlight greeted him. The wide smile the man in front of her made the girl's forehead wrinkle. Cheeks that resemble bakpao is now reddish because it is too long in the sun.
The man in front of him tapped a finger on his chin, his forehead frowning like he was thinking of something. "I guess you've been here a long time, haven't you?"
"Hm.. Yeah." yeah."
The man's eyes sparkled. "Is my guess right?" He laughed a little. "Daddy once said that I would be a successful entrepreneur because of my intelligence. Do you also aspire to be a businessman?"
"Hm? No."
The man sat down on the grass. "Waahhhh, what a pity. Though I'd like to invite you to work together someday." The man thought back. "I have an idea! How about you be my secretary when you grow up. Daddy said I should have a secretary to help me with my work, do you want to?"
The girl seemed to think, digesting the meaning of the man who might be four years from her age. Actually, he did not understand what the man was saying. Hmm secretary? Whatisit?
"I'm helping you at work?" Ask ensures.
"Yes. You're going where I go to work, like Mommy always goes where Daddy works." Enthusiastic answer.
"Where else?"
The man nodded quickly. "Wherever. America, Dubai, Indonesia, Singapore and other countries. You want? "
"Baby boy, come on, we have to go home, Grandma has arrived at the mansion!"
The shout distracts the two humans who are celebrating happiness. A middle-aged woman in glamorous clothes stood next to a luxurious car with the door open. Featuring a middle-aged silhouette ready behind the wheel.
"Ready Mommy." The man clutched his thumb. He turned back to the girl who was still sitting in front of him. "My mom called. I have to go home, you go back home too. Don't wander around alone. Mommy said no good, later kidnapped."
The girl nodded.
The man took the maple leaves that were nearby. "This is for you. Daddy said maple leaves mean loyalty, you have to be loyal to me. Understood it? I'll pick you up someday."
The man stood up. Develop a farewell smile that pervades a room called memory. After that, he began to run small towards the middle-aged woman who showed off a charming smile welcoming her only son.
Leaving the girl who was still grasping the maple leaves while watching the man who started entering the car. And before long, the car had passed carrying the man who had promised to pick her up. Someday.
