MANDARINS

MANDARINS
Appreciate

Beyza hasn't seen Uinseann in a week. Uinseann never came home at all. Beyza is confused as to where to look for Uinseann. He who had only met once with Uinseann before marriage and was abandoned on the first night of his marriage certainly did not keep the phone number of Uinseann.

He wanted to ask his father-in-law but then he paused his intention. Merely because he did not want to make Uinseann like an irresponsible husband in the eyes of his father-in-law.

She once called the Uinseann office, but when she called, the customer care department at the Uinseann office said that her husband did not want to talk to her. Beyza can only give up.

“Mbak Beyza, I'm coming to visit.” Call Marni ma'am, a rickshaw in the house of Uinseann.

“Iya bu.” Beyza replies from the room. Beyza understands, ‘bapak’ is meant by Miss Marni is her father-in-law. Beyza hurried to open the door of her room and immediately descended towards the living room. As soon as she saw her father-in-law, Beyza immediately approached and kissed Mr. Damar's hand.

“My daughter.” Said Mr. Damar, fondly stroking Beyza's cheeks. Beyza smiled back at her father-in-law's treatment. “How are you doing, son?” ask Mr. Damar after they sit side by side in the family room.

“Alhamdulillah well Well. Dad how are you?” ask Beyza gently.

“Aalhamdulillah's. It's never been better until you're my son.”Mr. Damar replied with a small laugh to make Beyza blush in shame. “Dad bring gifts for you.” Said again.

Mr. Damar then gave a parcel decorated with beautiful ribbons on it.

“Aug this as an apology because this week Dad can not accompany you.” Added.

Beyza was silent, a little confused because her father-in-law said that this gift was to apologize. Beyza, however, remains grateful and happy that her new father is so kind to her.

“Mana Uinseann?” ask Mr. Damar suddenly. Making Beyza speechless, shocked by her question.

“O-oh, Uinseann mas is having a sudden meeting Well, so this morning mas Uinseann went straight to the office.” Beyza answered, lying to protect her husband. Beyza felt very sinful because she had lied even though it was to cover up her husband's guilt. Beyza repeatedly uttered istighfar in her heart.

Fortunately Mr. Damar smiled and nodded at Beyza's reply. Mr. Damar then gently stroked Beyza's head.

“Hungry father. Your parents say you're good at cooking rice. You want to cook that for me?” said mr. Damar. Beyza who heard her father-in-law's request smiled brightly. Beyza excitedly nodded in response to her father-in-law's request. Yes, from a long time ago, Beyza loved to cook. Because of her hobby, Beyza takes cooking classes on the sidelines of her job.

As soon as Beyza started keeping herself busy in the kitchen, Mr. Damar walked towards the backyard. The backyard of the Uinseann house is one of Mr. Damar's favorite places. That's because Uinseann designed his own page layout, including his mother's favorite things in every corner of the park.

Unfortunately, the sticky scenery of the character of Mr. Damar's wife can not entertain the feelings of Mr. Damar at this time. She's upset.

“Where are you now?” ask Mr. Damar to Uinseann through his cell phone. There was a tone of dislike in his voice.

“What's Dad? Tumben Father phone.” reply Uinseann across the phone.

“Where are you?” ask Mr. Damar again. His voice sounded deeper and darker.

“What the hell Well. This week Dad did not call me, now suddenly phone while angry.” replied Uinseann.

“Jawab only question Father.” snapped Mr. Damar suddenly. It seems his frustration has grown.

“At home Well. Dad why the hell get angry?” reply Uinseann, shocked and a little afraid. After all, no matter how old Uinseann was, his father was a man he respected.

Mr. Damar's face changed. The deep wrinkles on his eyebrows grew increasingly visible. Anger had reached the base of his neck, ready to blow at any moment. Mr. Damar knew the voice of the woman.

“You're coming home now. Or all of Dad's shares for you, will I cancel all.” said Mr. Damar slowly but emphasis.

“Yah..?” Uinseann who then heard the voice of the disconnected tone of the telephone connection began to realize how serious this was.

Uinseann who rushed towards his home was worried and annoyed. Worried that his business might be ruined if his father is angry. Upset to her father with her threats, and feeling even more resentful towards Beyza. He realized that his father knew he was lying because Uinseann believed his father was at home.

‘The woman must have complained!’ his inner. Uinseann drove his car at high speed, not wanting to make his father even more angry.

Uinseann immediately parked his car when he reached his home. Hurry to his house.

From a distance, Uinseann heard his father's laughter. Uinseann felt a little strange because it felt like he had not heard his father's laughter for long. This slowed down his hasty steps.

Just before entering the dining room, Uinseann stopped his steps. Listen to the father and Beyza. Uinseann did not expect his father to be able to laugh freely while chatting with Beyza.

“Mas Uinseann, enter mas.” says bu Marni, surprising Uinseann. Mr. Damar and Beyza who heard the voice of Miss Marni turned towards Uinseann. Mr. Damar's originally soft and warm expression immediately changed after seeing Uinseann. Uinseann felt his father's sharp gaze upon him.

“Ma-mas Uinseann is home? Have you had lunch?” beyza asked awkwardly after realizing that Uinseann really came home after a week not coming home. Mr. Damar of course realizes that Beyza is trying to show that his marriage is fine in front of him. In her heart was regret for having made Beyza cover up and even lie to protect her own child.

“I'm sorry I just got to.” said Uinseann, not caring about Beyza's question at all. Uinseann then approached his father.

Beyza, who realized that Uinseann was showing her indifference, could only say something in her heart and try to be patient. He then began to tidy up the dining table and prepare cutlery for Uinseann. He thought, maybe Uinseann would like to have lunch at home today.

“Nak Beyza, dad say yes.” said mr. Damar suddenly.

“Eh? Dad want to go home? Mas Uinseann just arrived.” replied Beyza astonished. He stopped his activities, confused why his father-in-law was suddenly going home. Uinseann, who had realized that his father was really angry, could only fall silent.

“Bey delivery to the front Yes Well.” says Beyza. Immediately Beyza helped his father-in-law when he saw Mr. Damar began to clean up his luggage.

“Let Uinseann deliver Nak. You do not need to bother.” replied Mr. Damar. These words were somehow like orders for both Uinseann and Beyza. Uinseann prepared to accompany his father to the front door, while Beyza himself immediately greeted his father. Say hello and ask his father to be careful on the way. Mr. Damar stroked Beyza's head once more, smiled gently at Beyza and answered her daughter-in-law's greeting.

Uinseann felt his father's cold back as he escorted his father to the front door. He knew, before long, Mr. Damar would be furious with him.

“How long have you not been home?” ask Mr. Damar coldly to Uinseann. Uinseann who could not answer his father's question could only be silent. The annoyance re-entered his heart. He's sure, Beyza must have complained to Mr. Damar.

“You think your wedding was yesterday messing around?” ask Mr. Damar again. Uinseann remained silent.

“You think dad didn't know during the week you didn't come home? Leaving Beyza at home alone? Supercharged!” said Mr. Damar later, still with his cold tone.

“Happreciate Dad! Appreciate your wife! Take responsibility for the decisions you have made!” snapped Mr. Damar in the end.
