Awakened

MARCEL POV*

I finally opened my eyes after a long rest. It felt strange enough, Hendra said I would only sleep for 8 hours. But it felt so long, like having fallen asleep for a few days.

When I opened my eyes, my eyes felt very heavy, and my body felt very light, but a little stiff for movement.

I just opened my eyes, already saw the four Men and there was one Woman beside them. Since I have not sat for a long time, I have tried to wake my body.

But all of a sudden Jordan and Hendra ducked down and helped me get up, not just that. They put a pillow right behind me, and leaned my back on it.

"Are you okay? is there anything uncomfortable in your body? is your vision okay? does your body feel stiff? is there–"

"Hey, hey! ask slowly, why do you look so worried?" cut me.

"Sorry, Sir. I'm just marrying you." replied Hendra, looking down.

"That's it.." Give me back.

"Oh yeah, when did you come? I thought it would take a very long time to persuade you to come." I asked the Woman.

"Good Night, Mr. Anggara." he said, bowing at a glance.

"It's great to see you again" he continued.

"It's great to see you again, Nella." I reply.

*do you think something's wrong? but what is it?* my mind when I hear Agnella's greeting.

"You still call me by that name, but I am older than you." he lamented.

"We're only 10 years apart, and again I'm more comfortable with that call. That call also makes him look younger, haha.." I joked.

When I laughed, I remembered Nella's words. I was leaning back, immediately downing my body and shouting. "Night!!? is it night!!?" while looking at them with big rounded eyes.

"Yes, Sir. It's late, it's 10pm." replied Nella casually.

"Hey!! why are you answering!? keep your mouth quiet!!" annoyed Andre.

"What's wrong with me answering? The master asked, it would be very disrespectful if not answered. Isn't Jordan?" reply Nella.

"You're really—!!"

"Come on!! don't quarrel!" cut me.

"Why is it night!? how long have I been asleep? isn't the effect of the medicine only lasting for eight hours? I should have woken up in the morning, not even at night!!" furious me.

"Before that I really apologize to you, I give sleeping pills that last for 24 hours. It's not to keep you quiet or to lock you up in this bad way, but we want to see you fall asleep and let you rest comfortably" Hendra explained.

Hearing that, I really did not get out of thought with their mindset. It forced me to fall asleep, and I again left my school days.

"Then why are you following Andre!!? putting me to sleep for 24 hours is crazy!! a normal sleep of 8 hours, that was enough for me!! and again, what if there was suddenly a rebellion or some other unpleasant incident, and I was still asleep like this, what would you do!!? malawan without orders!!?" I growled, and made the four of them bow, except for Nella.

"From your anger, you better have dinner first. You haven't eaten from yesterday." chirped Nella, then took a tray of food and put it in front of me with a small table underneath.

"Eat first, after that I will not stop you from punishing the four of them" he said.

"Haah. Don't go anywhere, stay here until I finish eating!!" firmly me.

"Okay, sir." answered them together.

I began to eat my dinner casually, and occasionally stared at the four of them who were still bowing their heads.

After I finished all the food I was serving, I pushed the table away from me, then lowered my feet to the floor.

"Have you prepared everything for the abduction of the three Families? and their rooms, have you guys prepared them?" ask me.

"Already, Sir. Say had told the servants to prepare rooms for the three Families, and the welcome was over this afternoon. So, in the morning we just have to wait for them in front of the castle." Vernon explained.

"Well, color you have cheated me, I choose the four of you for the welcome tomorrow. Me and Nella will just wait in the living room." I said.

"Okay, sir." they answered.

"What about you? are you going to stay here again? or are you just gonna stay until you finish training that girl?" ask Nella.

"No idea, I'm still thinking about it. There's something I have to think about well." replied Nella.

"Hm.alright. Don't forget to tell me your decision, I'll agree to whatever you decide." I reply while standing.

"Thank you, sir." she replied.

"Yes, you can go back to your room. I want to relax now." I said as I stepped towards the chair by the window.

"Can't we accompany you?" sahut Jordan's.

"No need, I just want to breathe fresh air. If I need anything, I'll call you." I replied.

"Alright, then we'll let ourselves go. Good night, sir." said Jordan.

"Night." reply me, then sit on the chair while facing the window.

The five of them came out of my room, and now only I live in a room that is quite dark and cold.

Look up at the sky, watch the stars and crescent moons, and breathe fresh air at night. A break that feels really long, and quite satisfying to me.

But not for the morning, maybe my very irregular life will return when the sun begins to rise.
