They returned home from school after the jama'ah ashar prayer in the mosque. Boarding School, there are those who go home to Ma'had.
Ma'had is still located in the school foundation area not far from school buildings.
If Ma'had's daughter is on the left then Ma'had's son is on the right, contrary to the minimal potential of meeting. Unless you meet intentionally.
"Nad down now yuk," Nei invites by embracing the textbook for tomorrow.
"Mushola what library?" nadin said that he still chooses his books.
"So, nudge," replied Nei who was sitting on Nadin's bed. They were four rooms with two friends who had gone down.
"Perpus aja," broke off Nadin who immediately walked down the stairs.
At 8 pm after Isya's congregation and dinner, usually they come down to study together, some do assignments together, some learn alone.
The point is that if they have finished eating they cannot go to the room before the study time runs out.
Library or Mushola? The difference is that in Mushola it is learning lesehan and quieter there is no sound than in the library. The library there is a stool so no lesehan, there is a small place for lesehan but usually already filled the same that makes rame.
Nadin who had entered the library looking for a strategic seat next to the window.
"Such a path" complained Nei who was only five minutes after Nadin. He only walked while Nadin ran, let alone Nadin was a few inches taller than him.
"You are a long time ago." replied Nadin casually.
He had already opened his book and started to repeat the lesson today, followed by Nei who preferred to read the lesson for tomorrow.
Nei exhaled an annoyed breath, in the library too many voices were heard even softly.
They both studied more at Mushola than at the Library.
"Udah Nei?" asked Nadin who saw Nei close the book.
"Rame ah" Nei complained.
Nadin who intends to invite conversation also immediately got the opportunity.
"Arabic Competition already in mind?" nadin asked, recalling the announcement a few days ago.
"There is learning together before the race," continued Nadin saw Nei who was silent thinking.
"She learned?" ask Nei to make sure.
"Yes, this is OBA" said Nadin in a soft voice.
"What apaan," Nei replied inquiring.
"Arabic Olympics, Nei. Time don't know?" ask Nadin gashy. Nor did Nadin not listen to the explanation at that time.
"And we are still in the tenth grade, so just follow the Olympics first," said Nadin persuaded.
"Maybe," said Nadin while thinking.
"But.." he continued hesitating.
"And it used to be at Junior High School too can be," Nadin bargained again.
"But not champion one" Nei lamented.
"Yes will participate Nei..." Nadin looked to his left right fearing anyone reprimanding him.
"Yes, really." Nei said in a still hesitant tone.
"Listen-listen tomorrow the registration of the participants is closed," said Nadin.
"Is she?" asked Nei hesitatingly.
"Yes, tomorrow I will make the list" said Nadin as he lowered his eyebrows.
"Are you not coming?" ask Nei.
"Well, where can I be" said Nadin confidently.
"Trus, why am I coming along" Nei whispered in a tone that emphasized the word in each of his sentences.
"I support you to be a proud santri of Nei" Nadin's words solidified Nei's heart.
"No need to, rival other class leaders, there are also upperclassmen certainly," said Nei began not sure anymore.
"Shut..." Nadin placed his right index finger over Nei's cheek.
"Can't be insecure, we have to be confident. There will be me" continued Nadin by raising his eyebrows.
...
"Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarokatuh, the announcement for the registration of participants of the Arabic Language Olympiad will be closed after the end of the first break, it is expected that those who still want to participate immediately register, thank you. Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarokatuh,"
The first lesson was just over.
"Register now yuk Nei," asked Nadin to turn to Nei who was sitting next to him.
"Hm" Nei said as she wrote.
"Later in line" persuaded Nadin.
"Now, less than two lines," Nei replied without turning his face away from the book.
"OK, two lines," broke Nadin.
A few minutes later, Nei finished taking notes of the material and quickly tidied up the stationery on her desk as well as Nadin's untidy desk.
"Look ah, hunt," Nadin who was preparing beside the front whiteboard.
"Yeah," Nei said as she stood up and walked over to Nadin who was walking hastily in front of him.
Arriving in the secretariat room,
"Assalamu'alaikum ustadzah, want to register OBA us," said Nadin standing in front of the door of the secretariat room.
Nei stood quietly beside Nadin.
"Wa'akaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarokatuh, not here the list, in the OSIS room," replied one of the three female teachers in the room.
"Eh, sorry us, excuse me first," Nadin immediately walked quickly to the OSIS room which was still in one hallway but a long distance.
"Wait for Nad," Nei said a bit shouting, she was left behind Nadin. If Nadin ran small, Nei just walked slowly.
"Assalamu'alaikum sis, where do you want the list of Olympic participants?" Nadin asked and rolled his eyes looking at the many members of OSIS who were in the room both son and daughter.
The members of the OSIS are dominated by regular students, those who return home rather than the santri Ma'had who stay in the dormitory.
The overall disciples were also more regular than Ma'had. If the regular is 65% then Ma'had the rest.
"Here the deck, just go in" said one of the female upperclassmen kindly.
Nadin came in and asked, "Who wants your list?"
"Oh not my friend" he continued, turning his back.
"Eh, where's Nei?" Nadin asked himself. Seeing the confused Nadin made some members of the OSIS hold back laughter and make Nadin the center of attention.
"So, brother, for a moment" continued Nadin with an awkward smile.
Nei just stood with his head lowered on the outside wall of the room. His eyes saw a pair of male shoes walking past him.
"Nei, I didn't come in anyway" said Nadin in an annoyed tone.
"And you didn't step back," Nei replied, making Nadin even more upset.
"Yes, follow me" said Nadin, "Udah come on,". Now Nadin made sure he clasped Nei's hand tightly.
"Ih.." lamented Nei shimmily.
"I want a list of OBAs" said a man standing in front of them.
Nadin who tried to give the code to the committee brother earlier to put himself first.
Nei looked up trying to see who would be one of his rivals later, but from behind he did not recognize him.
"Udah was queuing up first deck, not long anyway," said one of the older brothers who sat pretty ignorant of them.
Nadin simply responded to her with a forced smile.
Nei still looked up slightly surprised as his eyes skimmed with the person standing in front of him abruptly turning his face back.
They stared into each other's eyes until, "Hm," dehamam brother of the committee waiting for registration.
The person in front of him immediately looked forward and underwent a question-and-answer with the committee, while Nei blinked her eyes and looked around with a nervous face.
Nadin who was beside her only smiled strangely looking at the small interaction between the two.
