Traveling alone is fun for him. You can go anywhere you want, without thinking about anyone else. That is what Shila always feels when traveling alone, enjoying her time. Meeting unfamiliar people makes her feel calmer than meeting people who already know her.
“Just a minute, Ma. The stock of Shila's novel has run out,” said Shila with a face that was clearly explained, making her eyes glazed so that the Mama would melt into her.
“Pesen online right, can,” said the Mama who is still at his establishment.
“Times to buy online later must have come not in accordance.”
“This is another pandemic, can not go out of the house if it is not important. You want to get razzia later?”
“Shila keep the same mask at a distance. Mama calm down, Shila can take care of herself.”
Mama Shila shook her head, staring in disbelief at this mere princess. While Shila still survives with a face full of her plea.
“Yes already, just buy the finished novel directly home. Do not snack outside, eat at home,” said Mama Shila finally.
“Yey, thanks Mama is beautiful,” said Shila cheered and hugged the Mama, then kissed the face.
“Later home Mama who picked up.”
“Ready, Mom!”
Shila gets off B-jek, who takes her to a bookstore that is famous all over the country. After washing her hands and checking her body temperature, Shila started to wander around. His eyes sparkled looking at the many shelves with neatly arranged books. The girl's feet headed for the shelf with the arrangement of fiction books and her eyes began to explore in search of the title of the novel she was after.
“Well, dapet,” muttered Shila took one of those novels and read the blurb on the back of the cover. “Karya Kak Hana is always interesting,” said Shila smiled behind her mask.
The novel was already within Shila's grasp, then he went back around looking for another novel. The girl stopped in front of a shelf, her hands outstretched to pick up one of the novels there. Shila picked up the plastic novel that was already open, she began to read every page. Then a few minutes later he was already late in the story in the novel, even Shila to the point of squatting between the shelves.
“Hmm, good. Buy deh,” muttered Shila finally and took a novel that is still neatly wrapped in plastic.
There were approximately four books in Shila's arms. Now he's waiting in line at the cashier to pay for all the novels he bought. After paying for all the novels, Shila headed still unsatisfied around this bookstore. So he went back down the shelf to re-read.
“If the city library is not closed, I want to hang out there every day,” said Shila.
Shila really likes to read. Whatever book he read, no wonder if the girl has a very broad insight and knows a lot of things. Since Junior High, Shila's hangout is in the city library. Sometimes he comes alone or with his two friends.
Shila's escape at a time when many people hate her and bully her is a library. Just by reading, Shila can feel a little relieved from anxiety that can sometimes come at any time if she remembers the dark thing.
The phone inside Shila's sling bag rang, making the girl shift her focus away from the novel she was holding. Shila put the novel back on and started looking for her phone. Shila frowned to see who was calling her.
“Halo? Why, Sei?” shila asked as soon as the phone connection was connected.
“Tau where do you come from?”
“Hah? You want what nitip? Picture book? In AprilMarch there is no?”
“Ckck, yes later I buyin.”
“Hmm, equally. Bye.”
Shila put her phone back in the bag, then headed to the first floor to look for the item Seina had asked for. Her best friend had come to her house to borrow a notebook and when she found out that Shila was in a bookstore, Seina asked to buy a picture book.
“Hmm? Where, yeah?” muttered Shila was looking for the existence of a bookshelf.
“Well, this. All buy pen times, yes?”
Shila also picked up a few pens, then she immediately headed to the cashier to sail all her groceries.
Shila decided to go home after getting all the things she wanted. He was looking for his cell phone and intended to call his mother to pick him up soon. But Shila was surprised when she accidentally hit someone, due to her moaning path.
“Shila? Lo Shila, right?” ask for a voice.
Shila looked up and stared confusedly at this girl in front of her. He didn't know the girl.
“Gue is not wrong. You must be Shila, I still remember clearly the voice lo,” said the girl with narrowed eyes that Shila guessed was smiling behind the mask. Then Shila's gaze turned to the guy next to the girl.
“Lo forgot me? I'm Monika, we're one SMP first.”
DEG!
Shila rounded her eyes, her hands spontaneously holding tightly onto the straps of her bag. Slowly Shila walked backwards, trying to avoid the two people in front of her.
“Lo don't want to say hi to me? Don't miss me?” ask Monika.
“Udah, Mon. Don't bother him,” interrupted the guy next to Monika.
“Lho? Shil? Where are you going?” monika asked to see Shila who was speechless immediately running away leaving the two people.
“Shila!” call the guy spontaneously chasing after Shila.
Shila did not know where her legs carried her body. Shila's breathing was irregular, the girl lowered her head with her hands squeezing her clothes. Shila watched the surroundings, it turned out that she was in the basement of the bookstore. Shila's hand trembled looking for her phone, about to call the Mama to come pick her up soon. The girl forgot to bring her medicine, the panic attack came back on her. Shila fell down, holding her chest which felt very tight.
“Mama,” shirk Shila stammered.
He is still trying to control his breathing, but the shadows of his past come back to haunt him. It made Shila more anxious and frightened.
“Shil? You are not papa?” ask someone to touch Shila's shoulder.
Shila looked at the person's face, but Shila's vision blurred. He frowned, but bad thoughts immediately hit the girl.
“Quiet. Breathing slowly, I will not hurt lo,” said the figure holding Shila's shoulder.
Shila complied and started breathing slowly. A little while later, he started to calm down. Only then could Shila clearly see who that figure was.
“Kak Ivan?” shila Lirih.
While the glasses guy nodded. “Lo is calm now?” ask Ivan.
“Ma... thanks, Brother,” said Shila.
Spontaneous Shila took off her hand grip on Ivan's arm. “Ma.. sorry, Sister. I accidentally,” said Shila panicked to see Ivan's arm reddened by him.
“Nothing,” replied Ivan smiling behind his mask.
