Chapter 8 - First Day of Work

Amber and I were sitting at a bus stop not far from where we live, just across the road to the bus stop. Not waiting long finally the bus that we want to ride came. Brother Amber immediately pulled me in.

On the way I saw the towering buildings that were there making me think. It was very different from my hometown.

An hour later we finally arrived at the place on the way, where brother Amber drove me to the yellow building that read 'Office Avenue 8' which was displayed in front of the building.

There, Amber talked about what I should do. When it was finished, brother Amber said goodbye and headed to his workplace which was still far from my workplace.

"Let's deck us into the deposit," said a woman who was four years old above me. (the deposit is a place that is provided for workers when it is time off).

I also started my work that got a part, mopping the floor in the front of the corridor and the outside. I was the first to do it feeling a little overwhelmed. But I don't have to complain about it.

Because this is also for the sake of the father in the village. I did so until the sweat soaked the whole body until the break hour came. I immediately got off when my brother called me, telling me to come down.

At the resting place. I immediately opened the lunch box that brother Amber gave me earlier, I forgot that I had not had breakfast so that the provisions that should have been eaten this morning were still intact. "I can't spend it all at once."

"Why deck?" ask the friend next to me when I hear my murmur.
