Chapter 27

Firman invites Rayhan to a cafe located on the beach.

They enjoy a warm coffee on a cold night.

Rayhan was still silent, he did not know what to say.

Rayhan knew he had done something wrong to his mother, and now he felt his father was asking him to go out with her because there was something his father wanted to talk about.

"Ray," said Firman began to open the topic of conversation.

Rayhan looked at his father.

"Yes, Dad." Rayhan responds to a call from his father.

"I was wrong, Dad." Rayhan could only admit his mistake.

He shouldn't have done anything inappropriate to Viona.

Rayhan nodded.

"I don't know, Dad. I feel Viona is a good woman, she is different from other women. Every time I was next to him I felt happy, and every time he was sad I felt sick and hurt" Rayhan told his father about how he felt about Viona.

The Word nodded in understanding what the son was saying.

He was silent for a moment trying to find a wise word to advise the son.

"Falling in love is normal for everyone, it is normal. Even an abnormal person who can not fall in love with the opposite sex," said Firman.

He deliberately paused his words.

Rayhan was still silent, he was still waiting for his father's next words.

"But every time we fall in love, we have to be able to keep ourselves from the negatives of love itself" says Firman.

Alisya was silent at what the son was doing.

She shed her tears, she did not know what her husband had said to her son, but Alisya was sure the Word had counseled her son wisely.

Alisya immediately hugged her son's body.

"I'm sorry Ray, Bun," Rayhan said.

Alisya did not answer Rayhan's words he just hugged the son's body tightly, a sign that he was not angry at the son at all.

The mother and son embraced each other.

Rayhan rubbed the clear circles that wet the cheeks of the mother.

"Rayhan is a bad boy, Bun. Ray, it made Ray's angel cry," Rayhan said.

"No, Honey. Mother also apologized," said Alisya.

He also felt guilty for slapping the son.

During the day, after school Rasya went straight to the hospital.

"How's your father doing, Vio?" rasha asked after letting go of her embrace.

"Thank God, good father," replied Viona.
