Love Zena
Zee Change

Zena still had a few days before her meeting with the person she was going to be betrothed to. Because Zena had already promised her parents to accept the man without knowing his appearance or personality.

Zena wants to enjoy her free days to go out with her friends. But unexpectedly Zena stuck in a traffic jam that turned out because there was an accident right in front of her car. A motorcycle slipped because there was oil spilling on the road.

Some people help accident victims who are still alive and must be taken to the hospital immediately. Zena immediately opened the glass window of her car to find out what had happened. Suddenly one of them approached him.

"Excuse me miss, can I have her help to take the accident victim to the hospital?" ask the guy.

"You can, please bring him here. I'll take you to the nearest hospital" Zena replied rather nervously.

Zena got out of her car and opened the back door of her car to the victims of the accident. Upon arrival at the hospital, Zena asked the medical team to handle her immediately. Zena was relieved after the accident victim was handled well by a team of doctors.

Zena almost forgot if today there was an appointment with her friends. Zena immediately contacted Mery to apologize.

"Hallo Zee, why hasn't he come yet. Where have you been?" ask Mery.

"Hallo Mery, sorry. I guess the day I can't go shopping. I have a sudden business that I can't leave. You guys go all three, next time I'll come along" Zena said.

"What the hell is Zee. All right, but next time don't look for excuses anymore" said Mery somewhat annoyed.

"OK, see you," said Zena ending her call.

Zena breathed a sigh of relief.

"Miss, we did not find the identity of the young man. How can we contact his family?" ask the helper to Zena.

"I don't know either, sir, so what now? If it's a matter of cost, let me take care of it. Who will take care of him in the hospital?" ask Zena.

"Then you take care of the young man's inpatient procedure. The matter of who is looking after him today I might be able to take care of him but only until the afternoon. If you have time, you can take care of it. Doing good will surely get good too" said the father.

"I. I will try. But I might not be able to keep it 24 hours," Zena said with a long sigh.

"It's okay, you're a good girl. May the Lord repay your kindness, son" said the man, looking at Zena with a look of admiration.

"Aamiinu. Please excuse me to take care of the inpatient procedure first. Once again thank you for your prayers," said Zena then passed away leaving the person who was waiting for the accident victim who was being treated by doctors in the emergency department.

Zena paid the entire hospital fee as well as the cost of hospitalization for one week. The money he was going to use to go shopping with his friends is now used to help people.

It feels different depending on how we use the money. When spending money to shop, we will get a moment of pleasure because we can buy everything we want. But when we use that money to help others, their satisfaction and joy will forever be felt not only for those who help, but for those who are helped as well.

Even for Zena, money is worthless but for people in need, it may be worth a fortune. And they will do anything for money.

Zena left a business card on the nurse, in case something happened to the young man. Zena came home feeling relieved to have been able to do good to others. Zena did not expect, she could do as well as she did now. It turned out that his departure from home had changed his life a lot. Even though there are bitter memories in it.

The next morning, Zena woke up early. This morning he wanted to look at the person he helped yesterday to see how things were going. Her mother was astonished by her daughter's behavior lately. Zena has changed a lot.

"Zee, where are you going so early in the morning?" ask Mina while smiling.

"Mother, I want to go see you at the hospital," Zena replied rather embarrassedly.

"Who is sick? Didn't you hear any of your friends were sick? Which friend is it again?" ask Mina again.

"Look at Ma. Yesterday, Zee helped the crash victim. Now she's still being treated, so Zee wants to look at her to encourage her," Zee explained, making her mother smile happily.

"The mother's daughter is now an adult, no longer likes to play around like she used to," said Ms. Mina. "Go, Zee. Give your friend some spirit."

"Zee, leave first, ma'am?" zena said while kissing her mother's hand.

Mina's mother smiled happily at the change in Zena. He's now turned 180 degrees. More care with others and respect for older people, that's what matters.

Mr. Juna was very curious about his wife who had been smiling incessantly until she reached the dinner table.

"Mother, smile to yourself in the morning. What's the matter?" ask Juna sir.

"Dad, mom was very happy because it turns out our daughter is getting older," said Ms. Mina while taking bread for her husband's breakfast.

"How did you know?!" ask Juna sir.

"You know, he was gone. Yesterday he helped someone, a lone accident victim. He said he left early in the morning to see him in the hospital. In fact, usually he doesn't care about anything other than his own business," Bu Mina said proudly to Zee.

"Good then, she ran away from home was also a good thing. Because it can change the way he looks at life. Isn't that right, Mom?" ask Juna sir.

"Yes sir. But what exactly happened, it seemed that after returning he was a bit quiet. Was he there to have a lot of trouble? Did anything hurt her?" ask Mina Mina bertubi.

"Dad won't answer mom's questions. Most importantly, he is back now. What kind of trouble Zee has in there let Zee know. I don't want to bring it up anymore either. I don't want him to remember the events that he should have forgotten" replied Mr. Juna over a warm cup of tea.

"Dad... Does that hurt Zee too much?" ask Mina's mom curious.

"Had you said, Zee has forgotten everything. So, let's not talk about it again in the future. Let Zee grow up without burden" said the husband, who immediately went to the office.
