Nathan's Question Mark

Nathan who was daydreaming for a moment was so shocked when he just realized the existence of Evan in his room.

"Evan, since when are you here?" nathan asked who only answered a faint smile by Evan.

Evan then carries his steps sitting in front of Nathan while giving Nathan a map.

"Something seems to bother you a lot, what's wrong?" evan asked at once.

Nathan let out a long sigh before finally telling Evan what happened while he was in the hospital.

Nathan recounts from the beginning when he picked up Vina in the hospital to finally meet the mother who was with a doctor.

"Then what did Aunt Hanna do to Vina? Aunt Hanna must be surprised to see you with Vina there, right?" evan asked after hearing all of Nathan's stories.

"That's exactly what surprised me, mama only asked once and completely ignored Vina until she left, isn't that weird?" reply Nathan.

"What are you really thinking about Nathan? you didn't accuse Aunt Hanna of doing anything wrong, did you?" evan asked who did not understand what Nathan was really thinking at that time.

"Oh, I just feel weird seeing your attitude, I feel like you're hiding something from me" Nathan replied.

"Hide what?" ask Evan.

"I don't know, is it possible that your mom is not okay? is it possible that my mother was sick and deliberately did not tell me? or maybe Rizal's mom and doctor have a relationship that they're deliberately keeping secret?"

"Don't think too far Nathan, better prepare yourself for a meeting in a moment" said Evan.

Nathan just nodded his head without saying anything, in his head still filled with many question marks about the mother.

"I'll find out about doctor Rizal, for now forget what just happened, I'll give you a report immediately if I've found out all the things about doctor Rizal," said Evan who tried to make Nathan focus on his work.

"Thank you, Evan" said Nathan, who began to focus on his work.

"But what about Vina? isn't he the one who prepared everything?" ask Evan.

"I've taken care of it, Vina will still follow the meeting through live video," replied Nathan.

"But didn't you say he just had an accident?" ask Evan.

"She had an injury to her leg, she could still think and speak fluently, so there was no reason not to attend today's meeting" Nathan replied.

"Waaaahh.. You're totally outrageous Nathan," said Evan, shaking his head at Nathan's attitude, which still forced Vina to attend the meeting after Vina had an accident.

Nathan just smiled thinly without saying anything then opened the map that Evan had just given him.

After finishing his business with Nathan, Evanpun came out of Nathan's room. Nathan began to focus on his work.

For Nathan, his job is the most important and foremost thing in his life. So, he will try hard to be able to do the best in his work, no matter the problems faced by others.

His love for work, unconsciously makes his heart harder and selfish. For the sake of being able to get what he wanted, for the sake of being able to carry out his plan, Nathan did not care about anything else at all.

The clock had already shown at 12 noon, Aleea was already in the shophouse with Tika. Still having to take cooking classes, every morning Aleea and Tika come to the shophouse to make cakes and bread that they will sell at noon after they return from cooking class.

After making sure everything was ready, Aleea and Tikapun started to open their cake shop.

Due to the well-planned management, Aleea and Tika did not have much difficulty running their business.

Despite occasional disagreements, they can both handle it well without emotion.

Aleea and Tika really become business partners who understand and complement each other.

Just like before, that day the customers came quite a lot. They also receive several orders from their customers.

As time passed, the sun that had shone before was now starting to return home, leaving a beautiful orange streak at the end of the western sky.

That afternoon, Aleea spent her time on the balcony taking care of her cake shop social media. He posted some photos and videos and took the time to reply to some incoming messages.

"Aaaaahh it feels like my body is very tired" said Aleea as she turned her body to the right and left.

Aleea then opened one of the apps Tika usually uses to watch movies. Aleea wanted to refresh her mind by watching a movie she liked.

After finding an interesting film for her, Alee leaned back on the back of the chair and focused her gaze on the film before her.

In the tenth minute of the film, the main character walks into the bar. The dark room in the bar combined with the thump of music and a few spotlights instantly made Aleea feel dizzy.

He immediately pressed a button to stop the film for a moment. Aleea lowered her head, holding her head which suddenly felt dizzy.

As she closed her eyes, a short memory suddenly brought Aleea to the feeling of being part of the movie she had just seen.

Aleea felt familiar with the place and situation that the film had on her laptop screen. The strange feeling that Aleea felt increasingly made Aleea's head hurt, as both ears seemed to hear back the loud music thump and footsteps that walked among the many people there.

"What's wrong with me? what the hell is going on?" inner Aleea asked as she continued to hold onto her head that was getting more and more painful.

"Aleea!"

A faint voice rang out among the many people who were in that place and the longer Aleea understood the more he really was inside the bar, the more, just like the scene in the movie he just saw.

"Aaaarrhhhh!!"

Aleea groaned in pain and accidentally grabbed the glass on the table until it broke on the floor.

"Aaaarrghhhhh... why does it hurt so much!!!!"

Aleea was still groaning in pain while trying to get up from her seat.

"Aleea, what's going on?" tika asked who suddenly came to the balcony after she heard the sound of the glass breaking.

Simultaneously, Aleea suddenly lost her body balance and started to limp. In a matter of seconds, Aleea had already fallen sprawled on the floor, close to the shards of glass strewn across the floor.

"Good, Aleea!"

The shocked and panicked Tika immediately took her steps towards Aleea and attempted to resuscitate Aleea.

"Aleea, wake up Aleea!" said Tika while patting Aleea cheek softly.

"God what should I do now!"

Tika brought her gaze to the surroundings, she felt that she was not strong enough to be able to bring Aleea down from the second floor.

Tika's eyes then caught a cell phone on the table. Holding Aleea's head, Tika tried to grab Aleea's phone on the table.

"Do I have to call Nathan? no..... I can't possibly contact Nathan, what will I tell him if he comes to this place and asks me a lot of things?"

Tika then searches for Evan's name on Aleea's contact store and immediately contacts Evan and it doesn't take long, Evanpun receives Tika's call.

"Hello Aleea, there is....."

"Hello Evan, it's me Tika, sorry to bother you because I can't possibly contact Nathan!" tika cuts off Evan's words.

"Aleea passed out on Evan's balcony, I couldn't bring her down, so I called you and...."

"Call the Tika ambulance, I'm on the border of the city and can't get there immediately, so please call an ambulance so Aleea is taken to the hospital, I'll try to get there soon!" evan said firmly.

"Aaahh yes ambulance, I was too panicked to think about it" said Tika then immediately ended his call to Evan.

Using Aleea's cell phone, Tikapun immediately called an ambulance. Soon an ambulance arrived and immediately took Aleea to the hospital after giving the first treatment to Aleea who was still unconscious at the time.

Tika then closed her shop and immediately went to the hospital to accompany Aleea as well as hearing the explanation from the doctor about Aleea's condition at that time.

After some time checking Aleea, the doctor told Tika that Aleea was fine.

"It is possible that the patient fainted because he was too tired, so the patient should be allowed to rest first for a few days and not too busy themselves until he recovered," explained the doctor.

"Alright doc, thank you," said Tika who was replied to a nod of the head by the doctor.

Time passed, Tika had sat by Aleea's bed for quite a while, waiting for Aleea who did not open her eyes.

"Is he really okay? why isn't she awake yet?" tika asked in her heart.

Shortly after, Evanpun came with a look of his face that looked worried at that time.

"How's Aleea doing, Tika? what happened to her?" ask Evan to worry.

"The doctor said he was fine, maybe he fainted from exhaustion, but since then he has not opened his eyes at all" explained Tika.

"I'll keep him here, you can go back to the shophouse" Evan said.

"Alright, call me immediately if anything happens to him," said Tika who only replied to a nod of the head by Evan.

After Tika left, Evan then asked the nurse to move Aleea to another room where no other patients were in one room with Aleea.

After Aleea was moved, Evanpun sat beside Aleea's bed, silent and just stared at Aleea who was still closed.

"You're working too hard to forget about your problem Aleea, a problem you shouldn't be facing right now" Evan said with a long sigh.

As both of his eyes looked at Aleea's hand, Evan somehow wanted to hold that hand, but his heart hesitated, not wanting to make Aleea misunderstand if Aleea suddenly woke up.

After some time passed, Alee also began to blink his eyes and found Evan sitting nearby.

"Evan.." called Aleea in a voice so soft, almost inaudible.

"You're at Aleea hospital, Tika brought you here with an ambulance" Evan said.

Aleea was silent for a while, trying to remember what happened to her before she was in the hospital.

"Why did you suddenly faint Aleea? are you trying to remember your past?" ask Evan to Aleea.

"I just... remember something not so obvious, I don't understand what I actually remember back then and my head feels so sore" Aleea replied.

"You have to stop forcing yourself Aleea, you'll only endanger yourself if you try to remember" Evan said.

"I know," Aleea replied with a slight nod of her head.

Biiiippp biiiipp biiiiippp

Evan's phone rang, a call from Nathan.

"Where are you, Evan? why haven't you gone back to the office?" nathan asked after Evan received his call.

"I'm. I'm in the hospital" Evan replied hesitantly.

"At the hospital? wh why? what's going on?" nathan asked worriedly.

"I'm accompanying Aleea here, she's passed out and is in the hospital right now" Evan explained.

"Aleea? did he faint from remembering something?" ask Nathan.

"Come if you want to know how things are going, I'll send you the hospital address" Evan said without answering Nathan's question.

"No need" Nathan replied.

"But....."

"Just finish your job and give me the report right away, I don't care what happens to him as long as it doesn't hurt me!" nathan interrupted Evan and ended his call.

Evan only let out a rough sigh and then returned his phone into his suit pocket.

"When can I get out of here, Evan?" ask Aelea.

"Tomorrow morning the doctor will check on you again Aleea, if it improves, you can go home tomorrow morning" Evan replied.

"Aahh so, then now go home Evan, thank you for accompanying me here," said Aleea.

"If I go home, what about you?" ask Evan.

"I'll be fine here, don't worry!" answer Aelea.

"I will ask Nathan to come, if necessary I will force him," said Evan who would move from his seat, but Aleea immediately prevented him by holding Evan's hand.

"Don't be Evan" said Aleea.

"Nathan's presence here will only make me uncomfortable, so I'd rather be alone here than with Nathan" Aleea continued.

"Then I will accompany you here" said Evan who returned to his seat.

Aleea smiled with a shake of her head.

"You need to get Evan home, I'm fine and tomorrow morning the doctor will let me go" Aleea said.

"I can't let you be here alone Aleea" Evan said.

"But....."

"You have only two options, here with me or with Nathan," Evan said, cutting Aleea's speech.

"A very easy choice Evan, of course I choose to be with you," Aleea replied with a smile.

"Then let me stay with you, okay?"

Alee nodded his head slowly with a smile, he could no longer force Evan to leave him in the hospital alone.

"Never get tired of hearing me thank you Evan, because I really feel so lucky to know you, somehow my life if you're not by my side" Aleea said.

Evan just smiled awkwardly without saying anything. He felt both happy and afraid, afraid if suddenly Aleea's memory returned and knew all the lies Evan had been lying.
