CUA S2 - Chapter 2

Two days already Daniel accompanied Zidane and Aruna at the school outbound event. Those two days were a very precious time for Daniel. Especially when he managed to make Zidane win games and get the bike prize that Zidane wants. And what makes Daniel most memorable is when the three of them get the trophy as the most compact family. Yes, of course it was beyond the expectations of Daniel and Aruna. Considering they are not a couple. But Daniel was very happy with all those moments. A first and most valuable experience for Daniel. Now they are on their way to Aruna's house.

"Thank you sir for the time you've given me. Sorry for all my attitude."

"Because you're always looking for opportunities. Remember, sir, I'm not like those women."

After an hour of travel, they arrived home.

"Let me bring Zidane in. He seemed to have fallen asleep and was very tired."

"Thank you, Mister. I'll drop the suitcase in the trunk."

"Yes." Yeah." The two of them got out of the car and immediately got into the house. Once inside, Aruna's in

surprise with four large suitcases in the living room. The suitcase was no stranger to her.

"This is my suitcase? Why is it here?" he muttered while looking at Daniel. Daniel just shrugged his shoulders a sign of not understanding as well. Aruna then walked towards the central room. Shella and Arya watch television with Shella sitting on Arya's lap.

"Mas Arya, why is my suitcase outside?" ask Aruna without further ado.

"Eh, you're home, Aruna. I don't think you're going home and you're going home to your boss." Word

Shella descends from Arya's lap.

"Thank God Aruna, you're home. Mmmm your suitcase...." Arya could not answer Aruna's question.

"Aruna, this house is already in my name and rightfully mine." Shella said with a look of hate.

"You are so outrageous. I've given my husband a hand, given him a car and now you're taking the house. Mas, where are your feelings." Say Aruna while pushing Arya's chest with her index finger. Yes, Daniel saw the battle again. Daniel feels hurt to see Aruna always oppressed.

"I'll wait outside." Daniel's whisper to Aruna. Aruna just nodded.

"I'm sorry, Aruna. But we need a place to stay. You know my parents didn't accept Shella's presence. Shella is an orphan, she is pregnant and needs a proper bed. Shella always threatens suicide and is frustrated by this situation. Once I get the job and the finances are restored, I'll give you the money to pay for this house, Aruna. But please give me some time."

"Then what was my fate with Zidane? Zidane is also your flesh and blood, Mas."

"Aruna, for a while, you can stay at your parents' house. I promise I'll pay for this house and you can give your house to Zidane."

"I'm sick of all your promises, Mom. Then, where are Bi Tuti and Ms Lasmi?" asked Aruna with a wry look.

"I asked them to go home. Take it easy I give them the fare home because I can't pay the maid yet."

"The two of you are going too far!" Aruna with her wet eyes, finally came out of the house. Aruna took all her suitcases out and saw Daniel standing at the door of his car. Zidane is still asleep

in the car. Aruna's cry broke out in front of Daniel. Daniel's heart ached to see Aruna. Daniel hugged Aruna. Aruna took off all her tears in Daniel's arms.

"Cry." Ogre Daniel. Daniel hugged tightly, rubbing Aruna's back and head. Aruna then wrapped her arms, returning Daniel's embrace. Daniel was surprised, Aruna returned his embrace.

Thirty minutes later, Daniel finally arrived.

"Let your suitcase in the trunk. I'd better take you and Zidane to the room." Daniel said to Aruna. Aruna just nodded slowly. Mataya looks puffy. Aruna followed Daniel's feet towards the second floor. The house was large and spacious but looked quiet. Aruna's eyes captured a photo on the wall. Foro a beautiful woman was holding a boy. Aruna smiled slightly at the photo. It's clear it's a picture of Daniel with his mother.

After laying Zidane on the bed, Daniel went back outside and took all of Aruna's luggage to the room.

"Master, thank you."

"Here you go, you'd better rest. You must be so tired."

"I'm ashamed, sir." Aruna looked sad.

"Then why?"

"It should be my family's problem but instead you know it all. I'm ashamed of failing to maintain my household."

"What are you ashamed of, Aruna. Your husband is a jerk. Yeah, even if I'm a jerk, too." Say it casually.

"I'm tired and I'm going to sleep. You're also an evil wife because the work must have piled up."

"Yes Sir. Thanks again."

"Yes, relax." Daniel then left the guest room.

The next day, Aruna woke up early. Because hitchhiking, he certainly knows himself to help clean the house and prepare breakfast.

"She said she'd go to the office but Mr. Daniel hasn't woken up yet." Murmured Keira while arranging all the dishes on the table. Once everything was ready, Aruna went back to the room to wake Zidane up. Zidane had woken up but he was still sitting on the bed.

"Darling, you haven't had a shower?"

"Mi, where are we?" ask Zidane. Aruna approached and sat down on the bed.

"Honey, for a while we hitchhiked in Om Daniel's house."

"What's wrong with our house?"

"I'm sorry Mami ya because Mami can't keep that house for you." Aruna's voice began to choke in the esophagus. If you remember last night, it was very painful.

"How do you mean Mi?"

"Papa took over the house for Aunt Shella."

"What's? Isn't that Mami's and Papi's?"

"Where do we want to live, Mi?"

"We'll stay with Opa and Oma."

"But Oma and Opa's house is far from Mami's school and workplace."
