Ellard slept with her head in Dara's lap. They were on the couch next to the pool. Dara has since looked to the right and left he was worried if anyone saw him.
"Ell." Ell." Dara.
"We've already legitimately remembered Al that." Ellard answered without opening his eyes.
Dara was instantly silent when she heard the man's answer, truly she was now already a wife. Whatever Ellard's orders he could not resist included giving up his honor. Dara shook her head as the thought popped into her head.
Both of them were silent, Dara stared straight into the water while Ellard closed his eyes enjoying every comfort with his girl, more precisely his wife.
Ellard brought Dara's hand to touch her head, Dara was shocked and confused. When the man showed his hand stroking his hair, Dara realized what the man wanted.
Dara began to stroke Ellard's hair, the man smiled faintly and folded his hands on his chest.
Dara thought of something and then turned to look at Ellard's face, as the man slept his mind.
"Ell." Ell." Call Dara slowly.
"Hm." Ellard replied to make Dara breathe a sigh of relief that this man did not sleep.
"Can I go back to my boarding house for a minute?." Ask Dara.
Ellard immediately opened both of her eyes staring at Dara sharply. Does this girl want to run away from him? that's what Ellard had in mind. It seems that marrying Dara made the man further restrict Dara's movements. Not wanting to lose her girl, the girl who made it into her life replaced the gray white of her life that she would never let go of.
"Why?." Ellard asked flatly as she woke up from her sleep and touched Dara's chin to let the girl look at her.
Dara's body was immediately cold hot as her face was only inches from Ellard's face.
"That's-I'm my stuff." Reply Dara.
"The correct answer." Ellard.
"I want to get my stuff." Reply Dara lowered her head.
"That's all?." Ellard asked, pulling his chin, Dara looked at him.
Dara nodded her head in response, making Ellard remove her hand from the girl's chin.
"Isn't there a lot of stuff here? if you want others to tell me. I'll have Ken find it for you." Ellard.
Dara who heard it immediately looked at Ellard,
"My belongings are a gift from my parents. Other stuff can't replace it, it's the only thing that can get me close to them." Answer Dara.
Ellard stared at the bead of her girl's brown eyes, as her eyes began to water Ellard turned to look ahead.
"alright. I'll drive you." Answer Ellard.
"Thank you." Said Dara slowly.
****
Ellard held Dara's hand out of the elevator walking towards the exit.
"Young master the car is ready." Adam said as he watched the two couples come out.
Ellard nodded in response and walked Dara to the side door of the wheel.
"Thank you uncle." Dara said on the sidelines Ellard put it in the car.
Ellard turned around her car, Adam's voice stopping her movement as she opened the door.
"Sir you don't need someone to come along with?." Ask Adam.
"Aren't you going to take Miss Dara's things? maybe some guards will help you there." Adam continues.
Ellard thought for a moment of Adam's suggestion it seemed like a good idea when recalling his densely packed girl's residence he nodded his head in response.
"Send me about 3 or 4." Ellard answered and got in the car and started running it out of the Walton gate.
*****
1 Hour drive in silence they finally arrived at the boarding place Dara.
Ellard gets out and turns around her car, and Dara, unable to open the door, waits for Ellard to open the door for her.
When the door opened up Ellard pulled Dara's hand into the building.
From the boarding gate there were four large-bodied men who were looking at the two of them and bowing their heads.
"All who are they?." Ask Dara slowly.
"Adam's man." Ellard replied without taking his eyes off the front.
Dara doesn't ask any more maybe this is how the rich protect themselves?thought Dara.
"Young master." Greet the four big-bodied men while bowing his head.
Ellard nodded her head and saw the building in front of her this was the first time she would enter a building like this. Ellard turned to look at her girl's face.
"What if they come in?." Ask Ellard.
Dara turned her gaze towards Ellard,
"But-." Said Dara as if hesitant to say it he played his fingers.
"We're the ones who come in." Ellard.
"You guys just wait here." Ellard said to the four men.
"But sir-."
"I'll call you later." Ellard said, holding Dara's hand inside.
If they all come in, it will be interesting
everyone's attention here, Ellard thought.
*****
"What floor?." Ellard asked in his path.
"Five." Answer Dara.
Ellard looked right and left confused Dara, why this man? thought.
"Where's the elevator?." Ask Ellard.
"There's no Ell elevator, we're taking the stairs here." Dara's reply made Ellard look at her in surprise.
"Ladders?." Ellard's question got a nod of the head from Dara.
"Fifth floor and we go up the stairs?." Pekik Ellard couldn't believe it.
Dara nodded her head again making Ellard rub her hair rough backwards while looking up at the stairs. The stairs did not look clean and narrow according to him.
"If you can't, let me ride you wait here for a minute." Dara said as she looked at the doubt on the man's face. Of course he knew the reason the man was silent, how it was possible for a billionaire son like Ellard to set foot in a place like this, he thought.
Ellard frowned when she heard her girl's words. Heh his girl thought he would give up like this, there was no giving up word in his life.
"Who said?.Let's go up." Ellard said, holding Dara's hand up the stairs.
****
"God! what is this place! is this never cleaned?!." Ellard said as they found footprints, cigarette packs or food wrappers along the stairs.
"Look so dirty."
"Be careful Al." Ellard said the fifth time Dara had heard.
"What floor is this?! long time ago, why not to?!." Ask Ellard.
Dara exhaled softly when she heard the man's vexation.
"New third floor Ell." Answer Dara.
"What!!." Ellard's loud speech made Dara grimace to hear it.
"New third floor?!." Further.
"Ell you can lower your voice, this is someone else's inn." Said Dara slowly.
"I don't care." Reply indifferently.
"Al-." Ellard's words were cut off by someone's voice from the bottom.
"Surge! my head is so dizzy." Said a slim-postured man with a bottle of drink in his hand.
"Who's the crazy guy." Ellard looked at the way the man walked in a stupor.
"Hey last night was so good." Said the man talking to himself.
When the man was about to pass Dara and Ellard, Ellard immediately hugged Dara's body carrying her into his arms.
"Hey, don't stay here if you want to make love, you just make me jealous." He said beside Ellard while laughing to himself.
"Go!!." Ellard said loudly.
"Wow just relax, bro, it's common to do that here so you don't have to be shy, haha!." Her speech.
"I'll kill you if I stay here." Ellard.
"OK, are you new? no problem doing as you please." Said the man and then stepped up. Just two steps the man stopped and turned around and smiled seductively.
"He was offered money that is not small but still does not want to accompany the men here."
"What a difference does she make to the women out there. There can't be a woman who's still a saint in-."
Bughh
Not yet had the man finish his speech Ellard immediately gave him a raw bogeman made the man immediately fall on the stairs.
"Ell." Ell." Shouted Dara.
"It's so fucking rude of you!!." Ellard said loudly and then hit the man brutally. The man's energy was incomparable to Ellard's let alone his half-conscious state.
Bugh
Bugh
Bugh
"Ell." Ell." Dara then hugged the man's body from behind. This was all he could do to reduce Ellard's anger, as his father did when he was crying. And it seemed like the man's anger was starting to subside, his hunting breath was starting to return to normal.
Ellard let go of Dara's hand that was coiled in her stomach and turned her body tightly to her girl.
"He said you're a cheap woman should I kill him?." Ellard asked with his head on the girl's neck.
Dara shook her head quickly, making Ellard tighten her embrace even more.
"He's a brash." Ellard said again.
"Killing someone's life is Ellard's sin." Dara stroked the man's back.
"How many men tease you?." Ask Ellard.
"I-I forgot." Dara answered looking for safety because she was sure what reaction would happen to Ellard as she answered honestly. But he did indeed completely forget because he never remembered it, all the unimportant things happening were only considered the wind then for him.
"Too much until you don't remember?!." Ellard's voice suddenly flat as she let go of her embrace.
Dara swallowed her own saliva then glanced at the man Ellard struck helplessly on the floor.
"Not so I mean, because it's an unimportant thing to me that's why I never remember." Answer Dara.
"You sure?." Ask Ellard.
Dara nodded in response, Ellard glanced at the man he hit was crawling up.
When Ellard would come back to beat him his hand was blocked by his girl. Dara shook her head asking Ellard not to hit the man again.
"Pardon me, I'm sorry." Said the man.
"Ell b-can k-we just ride s-now?." Tanya Dara stamped.
Without answering her question, Ellard held Dara's hand to take her up the stairs.
"Murghh." The man groaned as Ellard deliberately stomped his feet hard until the sound of his bones sounded.
Dara grimaced to see him he instantly closed both his eyes as the man shouted while holding his leg.
******
The two of them had arrived in front of Dara's room, the girl glanced briefly at Ellard and began to open the door to her room.
Ellard had just put on her flat face, making the atmosphere around Dara cold.
The girl even struggled to open the door, her hands trembling as she recalled what Ellard had done a few minutes ago.
"You can't?." Ellard finally opened her voice. He snatches the key in Dara's hand, leaving the girl shocked and accidentally drops the key.
"Pardon me." Said Dara slowly as she bent down to pick up the key on the floor.
Dara gives the keys in front of Ellard, but the man just keeps quiet to see Dara's face. It was clearly frightened on the girl's face let alone her trembling hand holding the key. Ellard exhaled softly and then stepped closer to Dara.
"You're afraid of me?." Ellard asked in front of Dara.
Dara shook her head slowly answering her while squeezing the end of the clothes she was wearing.
He shouldn't be afraid, right? he's seen Ellard beat up Feli and Devan. He's seen it before, but he doesn't like it this way.
Ellard, that man if he was angry really creepy in Dara's eyes, now Ellard's status is not a friend but a husband. Dara wants Ellard to change for the better and to be able to control her own emotions. Because one day, that emotion could destroy her or someone else close to her, Dara thought.
"Because, listen to me carefully. It's me Ellard, this is the real me I can't change. There may be a lot you don't know about me but I'm asking you to stay by my side when you find out about everything later. And believe me I did that because I wanted to always take care of you!. Understood?." Clearly Ellard was long at length while raising his girl's chin.
Dara only gave a nod of his head to answer it, which he strained from Ellard's words was that the man still had other things that he had not known. Yes, he was a new person in Ellard's life, but the man's words seemed to say that what he would know later was something he feared and disliked.
"Give me the key." Ellard said as he extended his hand.
Dara gave the keys to her room to the man. Ellard put the key in and opened the door.
When Ellard came in there was only a small mattress, cupboard and study table. There was also another small door that Ellard believed was a bathroom.
Has the girl been here all this time? even the warehouse of the Ellard mansion was more luxurious than this place. Ellard looked directly at the face of her girl who was opening the closet and picked up some bags and items. Dara who felt noticed turned towards Ellard, it was true that the man was looking at her in a clingy direction.
"W-what's up?." Ask Dara.
"How long have you been here, Al?." Ask Ellard.
"Two years." Answer Dara.
Ellard didn't ask any more, he walked around looking at every corner of the room. The room is small but decorated with a variety of colorful paper cutouts. From the shape of a flower to the shape of a star, Ellard who saw it unconsciously pulled both corners of her lips.
As her eyes caught a small photo frame upside down next to Dara's bed pillow. Making the man curious, Ellard walked up to the small bed and took a picture frame, behind the frame the photo was written.
'The beautiful is only temporary, the eternal is a memory, the sincere is only from the heart, and the sincere is only from the heart.'
The sentence in Indonesian made Ellard unable to understand the sentence. Slowly Ellard turned the photo over, looking at three people inside. Two married couples and in the middle of them were seen a small baby around the age of three smiling towards the camera.
Ellard believes the beautiful girl in this photo is the girl, and the two couples are Dara's parents and her in-laws.
I don't know what's going on in Ellard's heart when she sees the warmth in the photo. How does it feel to be hugged by two people who are happy because of the presence of their child?asked Ellard in his heart.
Envied? it has been his habit since childhood, even he always thought better he was never born. What is the point of living in this world if no one expects it?. In the past if he could, he would also scream at his father asking him to exchange his position with his mother. He chose his mother to focus on his own life rather than on his.
His mother chose to give birth to him and sacrificed her own life. His mother just thought to give him a chance to feel the life without thinking that the life of his son is very influential the presence of a mother near his son. He wanted every moment of growth to bring a smile on the faces of his parents. He wanted to be taught how to walk, eat, and talk to his parents, not the servants. He wanted to feel what it was like to play with normal kids his age learning to paint or count instead of learning how to raise company shares, company history and manage the company.
The words he always says when he feels different from other children.
'If mom were still here, Ell is sure things would be different.' The words he always said at his age were still 4 years and until now.
"Ell." Ell." Call Dara the third time to awaken Ellard of all his thoughts.
Ellard looked directly at the girl who was staring at him. Ellard looked at Dara with my eyes, Dara could see the sadness in the eyes of the man she never showed in front of others.
"It." Ellard said giving the picture frame to Dara.
Dara accepted it and saw it turned out to be what made Ellard become like this. Dara believes Ellard is comparing her life to the lives of others. It is not wrong according to Ellard's thinking because maybe if he was in the position of the man he would also think the same. He was grateful that God gave him a perfect family despite frequent economic hardships.
"Ah I've been looking for her since I only have one." Said Dara aiming to divert the man's mind. And sure enough Ellard looked at him straight away, the gaze that had been empty now looked at him with a look that Dara herself did not know what it meant.
"You only have one?." Ask Ellard.
Dara nodded in response, "Yes. Printing photos was expensive and I used to have no cost. That's all the photos from the neighbor's cell phone I got before I flew here." Dara answered smiling.
"Actually it's not too expensive either but since the neighbor's phone is an old phone so it has to be expensive to print it." Dara.
"A photo will not be able to equalize the memories that have been passed by people we love. I have a lot of photos but what good is that?just a camera shot that has no meaning in it." Ellard.
Dara instantly fell silent as if talking like that was wrong she was digging into the man's past.
"Even I don't have a photo of mommy." Ellard bowed her head as she said that sentence.
"May I hug you?." Ellard looked at Dara.
Dara could see Ellard's reddened eyes he was sure the man was holding back his tears.
Dara then nodded her head, now she was the man's wife. Whatever Ellard's problem now is, it's also regardless of whether or not Ellard feels for her. The most important thing for her now was to respect Ellard as her husband.
Ellard immediately hugged Dara's body, because Dara was in a position that was not ready to make him stagger back. They both fell on the bed, Ellard immediately laid his body wet while pulling Dara. They fall asleep in an equally tilted position and face to face.
Looks like the man needs a break to forget the thing that has always haunted him.
Normally he would vent it on booze when the shadows of his past appeared but now it was only his girl he needed.
Dara wanted to justify their position but it seemed like the man did not want to move from his current position. Ellard remained in her position of burying her head in Dara's chest.
It uncomfortable? that was how Dara felt he wanted to change his position but when he felt the man's body tremble Dara undoes his intention he stroked the man's back while biting his lips. After all this kind of position with a man other than her father Dara had never felt it.
Seriate.....
Allah said in the letter of Al-Isra’ verse 23, Allah explained that filial piety to parents is an obligation for every Muslim after monotheism.
"And your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and do good to your parents. If either one of them or both are old in your care, then never say to them the words “ah” and do not shout at them both, and speak to them both good words."
Narrated Bukhari, from Abu Bakr, the Prophet asked his companions “Will I tell you about the greatest sin?” They replied “Yes the Prophet". "Then the Messenger of Allah said “Shaming Allah and disobedience to parents.”
Are we wasting them?...
Can we still make them happy creating laughter on their faces and making them shed their tears for being proud of us?
You can't be here without them....
