86. Past Times

In Jakarta, Mr. Smith was angry because his men could not bring Ardi in front of him and his men were encouraged by his enemy.

" They could almost take Ardi with their girl friend. But Mr. Leon helped them then Angga and his men also came "clearly his personal assistant named Han.

" Leon? Why would Leon help them? " said Mr. Smith.

" They are Mr. Leon's classmates" Han replied.

" And again Mister, who was with Ardi at that time was the first daughter of Nadi and Sari " continued Han.

Then Mr. Smith recalled his past with Mr. Gunawan and Nadi's father while still in school.

Smith, Gunawan and Nadi are best friends. They were always three. Until finally, each of them has a lover except Gunawan who was betrothed by his parents. They often go together, until one day Rika Smith's lover turns out to love Gunawan.

On graduation day they celebrate in the cafe with Rika and Sari who are none other than Smith and Nadi's lovers.

" I went to the toilet first" Gunawan told his friends.

Then Gunawan went to the toilet in the cafe. Rika who saw Gunawan leave was about to catch up with him.

Smith, Nadi and Sari continued to eat their food. Until a waiter accidentally spilled a drink on Smith.

" No papa" said Smith, then went to the toilet to clean his clothes.

When he arrived in front of the toilet like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, Smith saw Rika the lover was hugging Gunawan.

" I love you Gun" Rika said while hugging Gunawan.

Smith's heart felt like it was pierced by a dagger when he heard Rika's confession that loved his best friend.

" But you're Smith's lover my best friend. It's not fitting that we love me " said Gunawan trying to let go of Rika's embrace.

" But I don't love Smith anymore" Rika said.

Smith could not bear it and eventually approached them.

Rika and Gunawan are shocked to see Smith coming.

" Smith I'm sorry, but I don't love you anymore. I love Gunawan " said Rika crying.

" Rika, Smith loves you so much. I can't snatch my best friend's lover" Gunawan told Rika.

" I don't care. I want to be with you " said Rika.

" If you are happy with Gunawan. I'll let you go " Smith said, though his heart ached.

Gunawan can't believe Smith said that. " No Smith" said Gunawab, leaving them both. Rika cries because Gunawan refused her.

After the incident, Rika locked herself in a room and did not want to be met by anyone but Gunawan. Smith couldn't see Rika like that. He asks Gunawan to meet Rika. Gunawan agrees to meet with Rika due to Smit's request.

" Gun, you came to see me" Rika said when she saw Gunawan at her doorstep.

" Let's Gun go in" said Rika pulling Gunawan to enter her room but Gunawan refused.

" It's rude of me to be in a woman's room. We better talk outside" Gunawan said.

They were both in the living room. Smith and Rika's family watched her from a distance.

" A gun do you want to accept my love" Rika said hoping.

" I'm sorry Rika. I cannot accept your love. I agreed to meet you at Smith's request. You better go back to Smith he loves you so much "Gunawan told Rika.

" Didn't you love me one bit ?" rika asked started to shed tears.

" I'm sorry, I don't love you in the least" replied Gunawan.

" If you can't get your love, I'd rather die" Rika said, then picked up the scissors in the drawer and stuck them in her stomach.

All who saw Rika's actions were very surprised. Smith ran over to Rika.

" Rikaa" cried Smith.

" Wake up don't leave me" Smith said as he looked at the blood-soaked Rika.

Since Rika's death, Smith has become deeply resentful of Gunawan. Smith blamed Gunawan for Rika's death.

After that, they were no longer friends. Smith continued his education abroad. Until he returned and led his father's company in competition with the Gunawan family company.

Mr. Smith is getting dizzy considering his very bad past. He also decided to go home.
