ATTEMPT

Raihan who had arrived at his campus headed straight for the parking lot, the young man wanted to take his car which he had stayed in while going with Jonathan earlier.

"Are you sure you're not going home with me?" jonathan asked when he dropped off his best friend.

"No, I need a minute" said Raihan who went straight to his car.

Slowly the young man drove his car, the shadow of the high school girl who had been hit this morning flashed in his mind.

The car Raihan drove across the streets of the capital, "Why use is stuck all the way," complained Raihan because his car could not drive due to the suddenly crowded streets.

Raihan looked at the circular clock in his left hand, "It should just be stuck. Hours back from work anyway," he said with a sigh.

Raihan turns on the radio in his car to drive out the burnout, a song from his favorite singer is heard filling the space in the car. Slowly the car in front of him walked, Raihan also took his car forward.

"Go to the restaurant first," said Raihan when he felt his stomach a little hungry.

Both eyes Raihan glanced left and right of the road to find the nearest restaurant, "Well that's it," said Raihan who saw the restaurant not far from where it is now.

Raihan immediately entered the parking lot available there, when he was about to enter his mobile restaurant ringing.

"Yes hello, what's wrong?" ask Raihan to someone who contacted him.

Raihan's slightly lethargic face, "Yes I'm home," Raihan walked back to his car.

She cancels to eat at the restaurant because the mother calls to tell her to come home early, the mother knows that Raihan will not go straight home after a fight with her father.

When Raihan was about to run his car, accidentally both eyes saw Martha who was going to throw the restaurant garbage.

"That's not ...?" Raihan was thinking whether he had mistaken her or that it was the girl who had been filling his mind all day.

"Does he work here?" muttered Raihan who felt a little surprised because as far as he knew the girl was still a student.

Raihan was curious to get back out of his car but, he remembered the words of his mother who told him to go home first.

"Later I try to come again" said Raihan as he left the restaurant.

Days have changed, for three days also Raihan and Jonathan filled the show at the school and during that time also Raihan continued to try to approach Martha. He was still curious about the girl especially after making sure that the girl he saw yesterday at the restaurant was him.

"Why you?" jonathan asked who was sitting in front of him while resting in the school cafeteria.

The young man looked at the glass in front of him, "It's okay," Raihan replied as he drank a slightly cold drink.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Jonathan keeps finding out what's going on with his suddenly moody best friend like that.

Raihan can only shake his head, not not wanting to tell what he is feeling but he does not want to be a laughing stock by his best friend.

"Yes, I'm okay" he said.

Both eyes Raihan accidentally saw the girl who some day this filled his heart and mind, somehow he could fall for the girl who always refused him to get acquainted.

"Pursue do not keep looking," led Jonathan when he saw Raihan who looked at Martha from a distance.

"It's very difficult for him to approach" said Raihan.

He had tried to approach the girl in various ways, until he had tried to come back to the restaurant where he had seen Martha.

"Want me to help you?" Jonathan volunteered to help his friend.

The young man knew that the weakness of Raihan was lacking confidence, if he saw that Raihan's face was quite handsome, let alone that there were so many students at his campus trying to get close.

He does not want to refuse Jonathan's help but, he is not sure if the girl is easy to approach.

"It's Jo, I'm not interested in him either" said Raihan.

The young man got up from the chair he was sitting in, "Hey where is Rai going?" shouted Jonathan.

Raihan did not heed the call of his best friend, the young man continued to walk away from the cafeteria towards his car.

"Wait for me is Rai" said Jonathan who came with a gasp of breath as a result of running after Raihan.

"You're Jo, then" accused Raihan of opening the door to his car.

"Kok me Rai?" Jonathan was a little confused by Raihan's attitude which suddenly changed like that.

Jonathan was still thinking about the change in attitude of his best friend who became a little more sensitive when he mentioned about Martha, "You're going home no?" call Raihan from the car.

The young man opened his car glass to be able to freely call his friend who was still silent staring outside, Jonathan slightly jolted when he heard Raihan's second call.

"Yes come on," replied Jonathan who immediately opened the door of Raihan's car.

During the trip Jonathan compiled a report when he and Raihan held a seminar for several days yesterday, "Rai we stopped by the usual Coffee shop yuk!" invite Jonathan when he can't focus on compiling their report.

"Why did you stop by there?" asked Raihan who occasionally saw his best friend talking.

"This task is Rai, from earlier I was difficult to focus on typing," complained Jonathan who could not type due to car shocks when he met a damaged road.

Without answering Jonathan's question, Raihan drove his car to where they used to gather.

"Don't forget to call Rino and Wendi if we're in a regular coffee shop" Raihan ordered.

Jonathan took his cell phone and started typing something on the flat object, "It's just waiting for them later" Jonathan said, putting his phone back in his pocket.

Raihan kept thinking about Martha's shadow until the young man was a little surprised when Jonathan called out to him, "What are you thinking about Rai?" jonathan asked because he who was telling the story from earlier was not listened to by the man next to him.

"I heard what you said, later we will discuss it in the coffee shop while relaxing," said Raihan who did not entirely lie.

He heard Jonathan's words but over time Martha's shadow began to fill his mind.

It didn't take long, the car they were riding in had arrived at one of his favorite coffee shops from the time they were in high school until now.

"All the messages are for Rino and Wendi" said Raihan before he decided to go to the toilet for a while.

After Raihan left the toilet, Jonathan continued the task that had been delayed earlier.

"Hi bro" said Rino and Wendi who came together.

"Come, where are you guys going?" jonathan asked as he shook the hand of his best friend besides Raihan.

"Community of campus tasks are stacked," answered Rino who immediately occupied himself on one of the benches.

"Where is Raihan?" ask Wendi who realizes one of her best friends is not there.

"Kangen with me?" ask Raihan who just finished from the toilet.

Rino and Wendi who heard the voice of the Raihan people immediately stood up and approached his closest friend. After graduating from school Rino and Wendi chose to continue their education at a different campus with Raihan and Jonathan, because of their different goals and ideals.

Love always comes at the wrong time, but love is present in the right person.
