The Eps 38

That morning Sienna received a call from Axel.

"sien..Today Tere will be operated for the installation of a ring in his heart.would you be present?"

"i'll come, brother, but after class"

"alright, thanks sein"

Conversation disconnected.

"who's the phone from?"ask Seth to arrange breakfast on the table.

"brother Axel"

"is there something?"

"today Tere is going to have surgery, out of college I'm probably going to the hospital so it looks like I'm going home late"

"do I need to be with you?"

"no need, now my relationship with Tere is better.you're at home"

Seth just nodded.

A pretty tiring day for Sienna, in addition to having to complete her office work quickly because she had to go to campus, Sienna also had to do campus assignments early because she had to go to the hospital to accompany Tere surgery.

"Sienna..."

Call someone when Sienna just walked out of campus

"sister Axel?what are you doing here?"sienna asked in wonder"wasn't she supposed to be in the hospital?"

"i came here to pick you up on purpose"

"no need, I can do it myself"

"please do not refuse sien, this way we can get to the hospital faster, you ride"

Sienna who was reluctant to argue finally agreed and they left together.

The motorbikes they overlapped went from the campus courtyard to the hospital.

"where have you been?"ask a doctor who has been wearing a complete scrub suit"from earlier the patient called your name"

"really, is everything okay?"

"the patient's already in anasthesis" the doctor replied"we go first"the doctor patted Axel's shoulder and then went after several nurses to OK.

Patiently Axel and Sienna waited in front of the operating room.

Here Axel looks very agitated, he keeps pacing in front of the door.

"hopefully the operation is smooth" Sienna prayed inwardly.

Four hours passed, the indicator light was still on.

"why so long?"axel Mumbled.

"sit down, brother, we pray that everything will be smooth" Sienna tried to calm Axel down.

"haha...."

Axel's heavy breathing.

Five hours passed, finally the indicator light turned on.

The doctors and nurses came out of the operating room along with Tere who was unconscious due to anasthesia.

"how's doc?"Axel immediately confronted the doctor.

"we have not been able to make sure the patient is okay before the patient is conscious" the doctor said as he passed following the nurse to the ICU room.

We can both just sit quietly in front of the ICU, pray for prayer Sienna always say and hope there is a miracle that comes to Tere's healing.

"DOCTOR....DOCTOR.."screaming a nurse ran out of the ICU room where Tere was being treated.

We peeked out of the slightly open door, saw several nurses checking Tere's pulse and another nurse checking the heart rate monitor.

The doctor ran from the room to Tere's room

Sienna,axel and the doctor entered the room

The doctor immediately checked the pulse and looked at Tere's fast-moving, bumpy heart monitor.

BEEPING..BEEPING..BEEPING..

"doctor what happened?"ask Axel worried.

The doctor placed his hands on Tere's chest and pressed several times.

All the nurses looked busy as if they were unaware of where we were.

"WHOEVER PLEASE ANSWER ME." cried Axel, resuscitating doctors and nurses who were busy.

Then a nurse approached Axel and said "the patient has palpitations, we hope you calm down"

Without lingering the doctor directly pressed Tere's chest with the device.

BRRUGGS

Tere's body lifted up a little.

The doctor looked back at the monitor, Tere's heart rate was still irregular.even the sound sounded faster.

Back doctor presses chest tere with defibrillator.

The monitor still shows the same line of rapid ups and downs.

Seinna covered her mouth with both hands, Sienna's heart pounding, Sienna's hands shaking violently.

Everyone in the room looked tense and anxious.

Three times the doctor pressed Tere's chest with the device and.....

BIIIIPPP......

Long straight lines are visible on the monitor screen.

"TEREEK......"Axel shouted loudly and ran closer to Tere's lifeless body, occasionally shaking it and repeatedly calling his name.

"AAAHHH.....WAKE RE....WAKING UP.....PLEASE WAKE UP.....DON'T LEAVE ME RE....TEREEEE..."tangis Axel broke, his face fell on Tere's chest that had not moved.

The doctor and all the nurses were silent.

Sienna approached the doctor and tried asking.Hopefully what Sienna was thinking was wrong.

"doctor-doctor.ap-what te-re.." asked Sienna.

"we're really sorry, we've tried our best but God may love him more" the doctor said.

Suddenly Axel came and pulled the collar of the doctor's shirt.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO TERE?WHY THE.....WHY....?"axel shouted as if he could not accept the reality that then sat weakly.

"sister...."Sienna approached and tried to calm down Axel who was slumped weakly on the floor.

"Tere's...Tere...."Axel pointed towards Tere.

Sienna just nodded slowly, tears dripping down Sienna's cheeks.

"TEREEE.."Axel shouted back.

"sister, you.should..strong.." Sienna said softly.

"my god, why...why does Tere have to go? why did you take Tere from me?why don't you give Tere his life back and let us be together like we used to be?I still want to be with Tere and mend our relationship, I still want to.."Sienna's tears are getting unstoppable again"sorry I re...pardon me.."take Tere in heart.

Sienna saw Seth running in the hospital hallway and Sienna involuntarily hugged Seth as Seth was right in front of her.

"Tere's...Tere ..."sienna's words spelled out.

"i know." replied Seth hugging tightly and stroking Sienna's hair.

"why....Tere.." said Sienna intermittently

"sssttt,.already..."

Seinna hugged Seth.....

BRUUUKK

Sienna's body was weak and unconscious.

"DOCTOR...DOCTOR.."yelling Seth call the doctor or anyone else to come and help Sienna who was drooping.

Axel who saw that immediately approached

A nurse and a doctor came and Seth immediately carried Sienna's body and took her into the treatment room and put her to sleep.axel followed behind.

The doctor examined Sienna's pulse and opened Sienna's eyes .

"he's just weak from shock, let him rest first" the doctor said, leaving Seth.

Seth sat beside Sienna who was still unconscious while holding her hand.

While Axel stood leaning against the wall not far from Sienna's bed.

"never be present in Sienna's life again" Seth said slowly.

Axel who heard that immediately stood up straight.

"what?"

"never be present in Sienna's life again and never involve Sienna again, it's enough you make Sienna suffer" Seth repeated

Axel just silently looked at Seth who was looking at him with an angry look.
