Chapter 12's

Angela and Laras are now in Angela's old house in a village on the city's coast. This house is a silent witness to the cruelty of the Young Devil. He had to lose all his family members because the boss of the Young Devil back then burned down his village because there was one of the community groups that protested to Young Devil's right hand, Yanze. They do not accept if the village is made a place for gambling and drug trafficking. On that basis, the villagers had to bear such heavy consequences. At that time Angela managed to survive because she met Alex.

Angela stared at the remnants of past memories engraved on the house that now began to collapse. Even so, he could still go inside to just hide from Yanze and the members of the Young Devil for a while.

He stared at every inch of memory about a beautiful childhood through neatly arranged photos in figurines that had been worn out for a long time untouched. He began to look at the photos of his Father and Mother that he missed so much. His heart was torn to shreds when he remembered the events of the past few years that destroyed his family.

"The girl named Laras, do you know about the meaning of happiness?" Angela's mouth twitched and asked Laras.

"I don't really know the meaning of happiness because my life has escaped it." Laras replied while resting his body on the floor of Angela's house full of dust.

"Is your life as ruined as my home?" Said Angela while sitting next to Laras.

"More than that, I felt the pain of being dumped and betrayed by my own lover and best friend. Now I'm trapped in another mysterious world with that jerk."

Angela then looked at the face of Laras who was seen starting to emit water droplets from the corner of her eyes with a sobbing sound. There was a deep wound visible from the sound of that cry. Angela tries to calm the girl to stay strong in the face of this harsh and twisted life.

"Alex's boss isn't as bad and evil as you think. He's changed a lot since you came into his life. If she says she wants to ask you to be her girl, just accept it. He's like a child thirsting for affection, just like me." Entertain Angela while embracing the girl's shoulder.

Laras did not respond to Angela's words because there was no trust or love for the mafia boss because his heart was still crushed by the actions of the brothers.

"Girl named Laras, if you're thirsty or hungry, I'll take you to my favorite diner. It's not far from this." Angela.

"Thank you, no need to bother. We're here instead of those criminals seeing us outside." Replied Laras while wiping his tears.

Angela complied with the girl's request, suddenly her phone shook. A new number is on her phone screen. He then received a call from the number.

"Hello, who's there?" Ask Angela.

"Save my new number, I'm Alex." Answer Alex.

"Is my sister on a new phone? it must be more sophisticated than mine." Angela teases her boss.

"It's not time to joke. Give your phone to the girl, I want to talk to her." Alex's orders.

"What do you want to talk to me about?"

The soft sound of Baras makes Alex cooped up in a very longing. Just a few hours without seeing her, her heart had been torn apart by a tormenting longing.

"If nothing matters, please just close your phone call." Laras was upset when Alex said something he thought was too boring to hear.

Baras returns Angela's phone, and Angela talks to her boss if she is not good at playing with words. He also taunts Alex as the most boring mob boss in the world.

"Please wait, punishment awaits you." Alex shouted as he hung up his phone call.

Angela is not afraid in the slightest of Alex's words because she already has a handler who is able to control the mafia boss. Angela now has the upper hand because there is a Laras who will always defend and help her escape punishment. Alex's boss will be submissive in front of Laras, which is very profitable for Angela.

Yanze tells his two men to search for the girl named Laras Nugraheni throughout the city. While he takes care of the plan to attack Richi's hideout. One of Yanze's men who had the task of scouting from near the hideout reported that there were only a few Death Angel members there. There was no Richi or Alex. Yanze asked his men to be even more meticulous because if there was even the slightest mistake, the Death Angel would easily repulse them.

Without Yanze noticing, his emergency outpost had been spotted by Willy and Sam. Yanze was startled as they appeared before his eyes.

"Yanze, you're still acting." Syndicate Sam.

"Sadly, two brothers who are willing to die silly for the annoying mafia boss. If you still want to live, don't interfere with my plans." Said Yanze with arrogance as high as the sky.

"Yanze, Yanze. Your mouth is indeed just taking out useless trash words. We should have said that, get the hell out of this place before our patience both runs out." Willy's orders that had held grudges were common to Yanze.

Without further ado, Willy began to beat one by one the members of the Young Devil, they put up a fight but were able to be tackled by Willy. All the members of the Young Devil who were at the emergency post collapsed exposed to Willy's death, now only Yanze left. Yanze was still very confident of being able to defeat the brothers.

"You dare to ganged at me. One on one, just right." Yanze.

"It's a pity that Yanze, we won't comply with your wishes. Our boss will finish you." Said Willy with a grinning smile.

"You cheats, why should Alex? do you not dare to fight me? just tell me you're afraid of me." Yanze replied still confidently able to trick the two brothers into provoking emotions.

"Shut your mouth, just wait after this, I guarantee you won't be able to brag about yourself anymore." Willy said triumphantly.

Yanze is taken by Willy and Sam to the place where Alex is waiting for them. The place that will be the end of the life story of Yanze, a sly man full of dirty ticks that have always been a barrier to Death Angel.

Yanze was still unmoved, he continuously provoked Willy and Sam so that he could get a gap to escape. But now Yanze's efforts have not borne fruit. He remains bound by Willy's soon-to-be avenged vendetta at the hands of their boss, Alex Fernando.
