After several processes, Kiran has now been moved to the ward, on the fourth floor of the hospital. The VVIP room, with a typical class of five-star hotels, is a picture of a nursery, from a Kiran Larasati. No family members accompanied. Both of their extended families, had come home to rest, and promised to return later. Until now only one Rangga, who waited for his wife in the hospital.
Kiran was seen lying on the bed, because the body was still feeling post-operative. While Rangga-husband, was busy with his device. The handsome man never finished replying to a series of incoming messages from friends, nor his business partners, who congratulated, on the birth of his first son.
"Why are you smiling to yourself, Mom?" kiran asked, when she found a faint smile, from her husband's face.
Rangga, who was sitting on one of the single couches, immediately raised his face, upon hearing the question asked by his wife..
"I'm happy. It turns out like this, it feels like being a parent," replied Rangga. And looking from his expression, the thirty-one-year-old man, looked proud of his status, who was now an old man.
Kiran smiled. She also confirmed what her husband said. Now he and Rangga, have entered a different phase in their lives. Being parents, and of course they have responsibilities, not only to raise, but also to educate their children, to grow up to be good children, to be religious, and to fear God.
But suddenly the look on the twenty-seven-year-old woman's face turned serious, when she remembered the name of the baby, which did not exist for their son.
"Mas.." called Kiran suddenly, as silence struck her, and the husband for a few minutes, after the brief chat.
"What's wrong?"
"Have you prepared a name for our son? Didn't Mas say that Mas would give a name to him?"
Rangga smiled, finding such a question, from his wife.
"I've prepared a name for our son, so you take it easy."
"May I know, what's his name?"
Rangga was about to welcome his wife's question, but she looked him in the eye, and Kiran was distracted when suddenly the sound of the door opened, and revealed a Doctor, as well as a female nurse, with a tiny baby in the woman's nurse's arms.
Kiran, and Rangga threw a glance at each other, then smiled. Since then, the couple has been impatient to meet their child.
"Hallo Mrs Wijaya! How are things, you" asked the woman doctor, standing at the bedside, and her hand examined the infusion, which was embedded in the back of Kiran's hand.
"My stomach is hurting Doctor, probably because of the impact of the anesthetic, which has started to go away slowly."
"Later we will give you medicine, so that the wound dries quickly. And we came, to deliver the baby madam. And do you want to, hold the baby? Or just put it in a cot? Or maybe, want to carry his Papa?" the doctor said, smiling.
"Did he wake up Doctor?"
"No Sir..Your son is sleeping."
"Give it to me. I'll try to carry it." Rangga put his phone on the table, and while stepping his feet closer to the Nurse, who was carrying the baby.
Rangga carved his warm smile, when he found the fruit, who slept very soundly, in the nurse's arms. Her skin was still reddened, and her lips were occasionally tasting, as if in her dream, she was getting her mother's affection, and it brought a happy atmosphere of its own, inside Rangga.
"Find my son!" pinta Rangga, by thrusting his hand.
With great care, the female nurse handed the tiny baby into Rangga's hands.
"Be careful, my friend.." Kiran commemorates Rangga, as her husband's hand tries to grab the tiny one from the nurse's sling. Finally with great care, the baby boy had now moved on to Rangga.
A sense of warmth spread in the man, when his baby boy was now in his carrier. A very difficult feeling, expressed in words, for sure he was very, very happy. For years the man, expecting the presence of fruati with Rani, in their marriage. And God only realized that desire, after his second marriage.
Carefully Rangga anchored his body on one of the single sofas, with a smile that never faded from his face.
"My son.." muttered Rangga smiling, as he poked his son's cheek, until the baby immediately squirmed a little, because it was disturbed by his sleep, and it was more and more a smile on the man's face.
"Then we'll excuse you. And if there's anything, let us know, ma'am!"
"Okay Doctor, and thank you."
After the passing of the Doctor, Kiran immediately asked her husband, who was poking their son, to make the little baby, unceasingly wriggling, because he felt disturbed.
"She's so adorable, Kiran!" rangga replied, while throwing a smile at his wife.
Kiran also developed a smile on her face, hearing what her husband said. "Mas.. What's our son's name?"
"Sanca Wijaya. Hows it? Do you like it?"
"Like! Nice name," replied Kiran smiling.
After that brief conversation, the two returned together. The presence of their fruit, makes Rangga focus more on his baby. The man occasionally dipped his son's cheeks gently, or poked his son's face, and he looked so happy, with what he did to the tiny baby.
Suddenly the sound of the door opened, which averted the eyes of the husband and wife.
"Sorry, because it just came. I just got back from out of town!" Devan with a sumringah face, but also mixed tired, when stepping his legs, into the nursery.
Rangga smiled a cynical smile at the corner of his lips, when he heard what his Doctor friend had just said.
"I don't think you're working at this hospital anymore."
"I have a seminar outside the city. And for you, Kiran! Congratulations!" Devan placed a flower bucket, as well as a gift he brought, to welcome the birth of the Baby Boy.
"Yes Doctor..And thank you, for the card" Kiran said, with a smile.
"May I know what the card is?"
"What are you talking about anyway?!" sukut Kiran, who was upset by her husband's question.
"Your husband really sucks, Kiran! And I can understand."
Rangga smiled. Smiling satisfied, seeing the look on his best friend's upset face. But suddenly the smile on his face faded, when suddenly his baby was crying.
"Oeek...Oeek..." And the man panicked a little.
"Kiran! How'this?"
"Give him to me, Mommy.."
"Give him to Kiran! Can't it be, you gave her ASI?!" devan said his little laugh, and of course made Rangga very upset, with the words of his best friend.
****
Dusk began to greet, with as time went on, and was not felt by the residents, who enjoyed it.
In order to release the fatigue that enveloped his body, Rangga enjoyed his free time in the hospital, with Devan, by enjoying a warm drink.
"I'm going to jail tomorrow" Devan said, as the two passed by with casual conversation.
"You want to see Davin?"
"Yes. And hopefully, this time he'll see me."
The words spoken from Devan's lips, instantly drew Rangga's curiosity even deeper.
"Have you seen him before?" asked Rangga, who was trying to guess.
"Yes. But at the time he didn't want to see me at all. I just met Andrew, back then."
"Tell me. Whose body, was that buried?"
"Andrew said it was the body of Davin's men. On the way to the villa, he still met his men. And at the time of the accident, Davin immediately jumped out of the car, until the car ended up burning. And from then on, he faked his death, in order to avenge himself on you, and disguised himself as an old man. Including wanting to destroy you, through Della."
