Leana stopped when a voice called out to her from the dining room. Vero stared intently at Leana who was still in Pyjamas. She had already heard about Leana's pregnancy from Gina and Marco. But, somehow Vero was not happy with the news. She still has not accepted Leana to be part of the Scotts family.

"Morning, Mom." said Leana kindly.

"It seems like it's noon." Vero looked at his luxury watch. The clock is showing at 10.

"Sorry Mom. Lea was really tired last night."

"You're already part of the Scotts family. Mom doesn't like lazy daughter-in-laws. You should have woken up earlier than Mom." - Vero without pause. "Are you not ashamed of your in-laws?"

"Tomorrow Leah will wake up early, Mom."

"Yesterday you said that too. But you're still up in the afternoon."

"Mom, did Mom hear that I was pregnant?" leana asked hesitantly.

"Yes, but that's no excuse." "Your mother always woke up early even though she was pregnant."

Leana didn't know how to behave in front of Vero. Every time he meets, Vero only scatters Leana's attitude. He's not good at taking care of Max, he always says Leana is lazy, inconsiderate and sick. When Leana gets pregnant like this, Vero also seems unhappy with Leana. I don't know what Leana should do again.

"Mom, Lea, excuse me to go to the kitchen for a while." Lea's permission is tired to face Vero. It's only been a few days here that Leana's been overwhelmed with Vero. He didn't want to talk to Vero, but if they started a conversation like this, it made Leana sad and frustrated. So, the best move now is to run away or dodge.

"You want what you? It's so good to have you in the kitchen."

"Max is sick, Mom. Lea wants to make him some warm food." "Lea's part of the job is indeed in the kitchen" Lea explained carefully.

"Max is sick because he's stressed thinking about you." Vero's hood always doused gasoline on Leana.

"I'm sorry, Mom. Again sorry." Leana bowed to Vero then she went to the kitchen.

Gina had already gone to the kitchen to prepare the materials Leana needed. He actually wanted to accompany Leana when she was called Vero, but Vero told Gina to go back and not interfere.

"Please Miss" said Gina who was concerned for Leana. She's pregnant and can't be stressed, but everyone here is making Leana even more stressed.

"No problem, Gin. Let's just make some food."

Leana started cooking without much talk. This is where he channeled his stress. Cooking is therapeutic for Leana. Leana was very happy to linger in the kitchen. Her mood would come back good if she could make good and beautiful dishes.

"Well, the smell is so good." Gina could inhale the scent of ginseng and chicken broth when Leana opened the lid of the pot. "You're really talented."

"Not Gin's talent, everyone can cook this. I'll give you the recipe." Leana smiled so that her dimples were clearly visible.

"I'm glad Mr. Max got a wife like you." Gina said sincerely.

"Yes, you're the only one who's happy" Leana said sadly. Her dream marriage had collapsed into something painful like this. To the extent that his in-laws did not like Leana. While Marco himself is more friendly, but he looks strange. Being part of the Scotts family is not easy.

"Miss.I am here. Miss take it easy. I will always support Miss Leana. Dr.Ericka will also help Miss."

"It looks like Doctor Andre has arrived. Please put this in a bowl with a lid on it. Don't forget to bring the rice, too." Leana releases her apron to escort Doctor Andre to Max's room.
