Love for Sheila

Mother-in-law

Sheila tried to gather her strength to open her eyes after hearing the door blow from outside her room and the maki curse from her mother-in-law (Mayang).

Her husband (Reihan) did not wake Sheila that morning, before she left for work, because Sheila was not feeling well and hoped Sheila could rest.

Because besides him who works in that house, Sheila also works to help her husband by being a laborer in a food stall using only her diploma which is only a high school graduate who certainly can not make her work in an office like her husband.

Reihan has tried repeatedly advising Sheila to stay at home and not work because her salary is more than enough for their lives, even to give up her sister (Kania), although Reihan is just an office staff. But Sheila still insists on staying at work because she feels lonely because in the second year of their marriage, they have not trusted a momongan.

"Wake up! don't be lazy to be a ghost," cried Mayang again while banging on the door again because he had not received an answer from Sheila.

With a weak body and trembling Sheila braced herself to get up from her bed and tried to pull the handle of her bedroom door.

"Mi, I'm sick" said Sheila to meet the mayang with a pale face.

"You helped Mami do all the housework, Mami is old. Do you want to be an ungodly ghost?" chirps Mayang who made Sheila with staggering steps towards the kitchen because she did not want to argue with her in-laws.

"I just have to tell Reihan later that I'm the one doing all the housework, and his wife sleeps because of the cheer," Mayang said happily as she headed to the living room and turned on her favorite television show.

With a pale face and trembling body Sheila did one by one homework from washing dishes, washing clothes, to mopping the entire floor of the house. With tegangya Mayang continues to watch his favorite television show while interspersed with his ngakak laughter.

"Sheila," call Mayang.

"Yes, Mi," Sheila said.

"Make Mami a hot green tea, The water you boil first not the one from the flask, Mami does not want," ordered Mayang.

"Well, Mi," said Sheila still with her pale face as she passed into the kitchen with shaky steps.

"I must be strong for Mas Reihan," Sheila's inner self, sitting on the kitchen bench, waiting for the boiling water to boil.

After finishing making tea, sheila immediately served it to her in-laws who still had not left the television.

"Shel, Mami pegel's foot, you're incandescent!" mayang's orders again.

"Sheila is dizzy Mi, may Sheila rest for a while, later Sheila will massage Mami's feet," replied Sheila who could not bear the dizziness that hit her.

"Yes Mi, Sheila is going to massage Mami" Sheila said as she sat down in front of the sofa and began massaging her in-laws slowly.

"I think it really hurts her, but let it be," Mayang's inner self who feels Sheila's cold hands but she doesn't care and enjoys her daughter-in-law's massage.

When Reihan came home from work, Mayang hurriedly told Sheila to go into his room and told him to sleep. While Kania who came home earlier than her brother, after college immediately chose to lock herself in the room without caring about anything that happened in the house.

"Mi, is Sheila okay?" reihan asked as he reached into his office bag as he entered the house.

"Here you go, Mami took good care of it like Mami promised this morning," said Mayang with a crisp smile.

"Thank you Mi" Reihan said as he hurriedly headed to his room to see Sheila's condition.

"Dear you're better?" reihan said as he looked at that pale face.

"Well, you don't have to worry, you don't have to worry" said Sheila lying when she actually did not feel strong body that felt not care.

"Why is your body cold, do we need to see a doctor again?" said Reihan who was very worried while holding Sheila's hand.

"No need Mas, yesterday the doctor said I was just tired," Sheila replied refusing.

"Yes, moreover, you will have a rest all day," said Mayang entered the room while carrying a tray containing food.

"This you eat first, do not forget to take your medicine," said Mayang again.

"Maybe Mami will be in the movie, she will get a trophy" Sheila was sad.

"Thank you Mi, Reihan is very lucky to have Mami as good as Mami," Reihan said.

"Definitely donk" said Mayang with a triumphant smile.

"Mas, if you knew the truth, I just don't want to hurt your feelings by telling the truth because I know your mom is an angel to you," Sheila's mind grew sad.
