More Than That

Paradise Fashion Office.

Luna had just walked out of the meeting room after holding a limited meeting. When he was about to return to his room he passed Rara who walked in a hurry complete with her reddened eyes holding back tears.

"Lun, your car I brought!" Rara first spoke before Luna could ask.

"Ra, what's going on?" ask Luna to worry.

But Rara continued to step up quickly ignoring her question, which made Luna's forehead wrinkle in surprise.

Luna stepped straight towards her study, currently Sean was still there with a huffed face, Luna had already guessed the two people had just had a fight.

Such is the life of the household, there must be small pebbles that disturb. Problems can come from anywhere, from a third party or from the couple themselves.

Before Luna's lunch hour leaves for the hospital, she wants to meet Gio and take him home.

By the time Luna arrived at the hospital, Gio was already sitting on a wheelchair and preparing to leave his ward.

"Onty, can I help Gio?" ask Luna.

"If you want to ask me that, not my mommy. I don't want to, my mommy can still take care of me!" Gio interjected before mommy Delia could answer Luna.

"Get me talking, Gi. Luna just had good intentions of wanting to help!" angry mommy Delia as well as merta with her eyes are staring sharply.

Gio lowered his bow, he could not argue that the queen had given the order. She felt ashamed of her helpless self, she could only sit in a wheelchair, pushed by the girl she was supposed to protect.

On the way to his mansion Gio continued to turn his gaze towards the window, he did not care about Luna who had been staring at him ever since.

Several times the girl's mouth opened, then closed back. Like he wanted to say something, but it was so hard for him to say.

"Gi, can I ask you something?" luna asked in the end, after almost half the journey but not a single word managed to come out of her mouth.

Gio only cleared his throat in return from Luna's words earlier.

"What makes you hate me, Gi? Am I wrong? I don't understand why you've suddenly become cold, and seem to think of me as an enemy!"

Gio glanced at him with his eyes still cold. "I don't hate you Lun! I just don't like you paying too much attention to me, I don't like being pitied."

"Look, I'm paying you attention, Gi. You saved me, what's wrong if I sympathize with someone so kind to me?" reply Luna.

"I didn't do anything Lun. You see for yourself I was helpless in that ambush, I'm just a useless man!" lirih Gio who felt ashamed of himself.

Imagining the kidnapping incident made his chest back tight. Many regrets haunt her because of the incident, including Giselle's sacrifice to protect her.

"Who said you were useless? You are a man who means a lot to me!" argue Luna.

Gio snorted in disbelief. "Omong empty Lun! You talk like that because I'm disabled, right? You're just trying to love me because I'm down. Believe me, I don't need the mercy of others including you, I'm fine with my life like this."

Without feeling their car had entered Morelli's mansion, Luna got off first to prepare a seat for Gio, before picking up the man and sitting him in the chair.

This was the second time Luna had come here, after the first arrival that made her know who Gio was in her heart.

Right now Luna wanted to tell Gio about their past, but every time her heart was moved to tell Gio, at that very moment her mind held her back. Logic gives the order to delay first, Luna is afraid that Gio considers all of it just an excuse, to be willing to accept empathy from her.

"Go home Lun! I want to rest!" throw Gio away when he arrives at his room.

"I want to rest, Lun. I need some privacy!" gio is not to be denied.

Luna let out a heavy sigh, she realized it was impossible to force her will. "Alright, have a good rest, Gi. I'm home."

Luna is forced to leave Gio, although she still wants to be there and share a little story with the man.

Next day.

Luna sleeps less overnight because she keeps thinking of ways to get her relationship with Gio back to melt, by holding back the sleepiness of Luna checking the files on her desk.

"It's common to say hello first if you want to get into people's rooms!" Luna growled as she watched the 2-men enter her room without excuse.

"Hey .. calm down. I don't mean to mess around, I just wanted to ask you, because you must know where Rara went!" sean said lightly.

"I don't know!" sahut Luna ketus.

There was-just the problem, he was dizzy thinking about his relationship with Gio which made his mood deteriorate. And must be added to the booming job because Rara asked her secretary to follow to Madrid, now comes Sean again which makes her spill her frustration.

"Come Lun. Tell me, you must know where Rara went, I'm afraid something happened to her" Sean said, half begging.

"If I say I don't know, don't know, Sean! Are you deaf?" sahut Luna snapped.

"Hey .. I asked you nicely. Why are you even a nyolot?" Sean also raised his voice.

Brakk!!

Luna kicked down the table which made Sean jump a little in shock.

"You want me to tell you where Rara's going?" ask Luna sarcas.

"She quickly say!" sean is impatient.

"Let's have a duel, I'll tell you where Rara is going if you manage to defeat me!" challenge Luna by bringing out her murderous aura.

"Based on Mad Women ...." Sean hurriedly lifted his feet, then took his friend to escape from the place.

Not out of fear of not being able to win from Luna, accepting the challenge from the woman would only add to the problem. His wife will hate it even more if Sean dares to hurt his till jannah friend.

Luna shook her head. It could be that what Sean said was true, he was already starting to go crazy right now. Crazy at the thought of his relationship with Gio, not to mention the slightest bit he had to bear the consequences of the insignificant problems Sean created.

In the afternoon after finishing her work, Luna prepared to meet Gio. After thinking about it last night, today Luna is determined to give Gio some insight into their past, no matter what the man's response will be.

Luna smilingly looked at a small object that looked worn out before re-inserting it into her bag, after which Luna rushed out of the office to head for Gio's mansion.

'May you still remember Gi. With you I want to build something that people say is just monkey love. Ah no, it looks like a baby monkey, ' Luna monologues while focusing on the steering wheel of her car.
