Love Barrels And Werewolves

Love Barrels And Werewolves
The Great Secret of the Wolf Man

When the full moon is over in the Kingdom of Fantasiana.

Aira walked firmly after her coronation as the new king. After removing the crown of the queen, now the jewel-plated throne belongs to her. Of course, people viewed him as the luckiest man. But who knows, if the accident is just right in front of his eyes.

"Is this what you want?" aira asked as the two were in the same room.

The middle-aged woman with wet eyes looked at her son. There was a pain that did not bleed when he saw Aira's face. "You look like your father" he said slowly.

"You mean the man who was killed with his own hands?"

Seril froze instantly. His body trembled holding back the cries. Every time Aira brought it up, this woman could not help but feel immense guilt and regret.

"I'm sorry mom, Aira. I couldn't do anything at that time."

There was no answer, just a sharp look that Aira gave. He knew Seril was doing it to protect them. However, after getting to know Laras, he felt that killing his father had exceeded the limit.

"It was your own father's choice, Aira." Seril continued. His crying began to calm down. "Mom has never said this to anyone."

Hearing him made Aira give a little space to the mother. After a while, Seril continued. "Your father asked for his life."

Suddenly, Aira's eyes were rounded. He could not understand why the father chose to be killed instead of erased memories like he did to Laras.

But he had not had time to ask, the middle-aged woman there had already explained. "Mom erased your father's memory. But it didn't work out at all. Your father can still remember everything. I've allowed your father to go and pretend to forget, but he won't and would rather die than live tormented with all that's happened."

Seril took a pause. Recalling the incident made him dive back into a huge wound.

While Aira, she was getting shocked. True, this kind of story has never been heard before.

"Mom I mean, have you ever erased his memory?" his question was directly acknowledged by his mother. "But why didn't it work? Shouldn't we be able to draw human memories?"

Seril took a deep breath. She understood why Aira believed such a thing, because she was the same as her son. But there are some things that are kept secret. Including how the work of memory deletion that becomes a weapon to face humans.

"Maybe it's time you knew. Listen, Aira. Memory erasure just doesn't apply to someone you love. It's already written on the page that's been omitted hundreds of years ago."

Both of Aira's eyes were rounded upon hearing an explanation she had never heard at all, even from the news of the birds. "Mom I mean, that someone will remember even if we've pulled out all his memories?"

Slowly but confidently, Seril nodded in agreement. "It was one secret unknown to other than the elders or kings and queens of this kingdom. But there's one more big secret ...." The woman's words stopped.

Aira looked at the mother with great curiosity. This was news he had never really thought of before. Who knows if this kingdom holds so many secrets.

"About humans and us, who do you think is stronger?"

"Of course we are, werewolves" Aira replied confidently.

Finding that answer, Queen Seril took a deep breath. "That is what we are taught from generation to generation. But the truth is, the power we have is not worth what they have."

"So, humans are stronger than us?" Aira was made to believe. But the question soon got a fortune from the mother. "But why do we view human beings as very weak?"

"Is that why you should be killed?"

Seril again said. "Your father must be killed after being discovered his identity as a human. For the kingdom could be threatened if he continued to be here." The woman's words stopped. As soon as it crept back, the bloody memory continued to rule his head.

Unknowingly, tears trickled down from behind the warming fertilizer. Seril cried, guilt dominated for 30 years ago.

"Mom should have stopped him from the beginning. The love between humans and us will never happen."

Aira. He thought he had done the right thing for Laras. But hearing the mother's last sentence, somehow her feelings become unacceptable. What is wrong with the love between humans and their herds?

But instead of thinking about it, there was something more troubling to Aira. That is the fact that Baras could not lose his memory after he erased everything.

"What's really going on in the woods, sir? Why did that man never come back?" Baras asked while the two were still engaged in conversation.

But after a moment of silence, Mr. Darto could only shake his head slowly. "Nobody knew until now." The man turned his head, looked at Laras before finally continuing. "But I'm sure something bad has happened. That's why Lion wants you to forget everything."

Laras. His heart still ached even just hearing the name it was called.

"Listen, Laras. After this you should completely forget. Even if it's just pretending."

From then on, Laras decided to close every emotion hole. He even tried to erase his own memories with all his might. Although he was in limp, he had to forget about Lion. Though it may be impossible, it will open the heart to other men.

Without anything meaningful, the day changes with the moon.

The life of Baras is still the same. Nothing has changed except his feelings. Flowers every season have been swapped, rain and heat also come in turn. But during that time also, Laras had to live in pretense. Pretend he's okay.

One day in the summer. The barrel that ran out of fish decided to go down to the river instead of walking all the way to the market. Although he was sure there might not be a single fish caught. But no problem, he just wanted to remember something that would never happen again.

The woman walked with the bamboo slashed. But when he arrived, a figure who was in the river locked himself.

A man was standing in the river with wet hair. He is a figure who wants Laras' memory erased at that time.

Lion, why could that man appear again in front of Laras?

A moment Laras pecked in place. His feelings are not sure if what he sees is really Lion or just his imagination. But after a long time of feeling, he finally came down.

The barrel began to look around at the fish that were in the water. But as much as he tried everything was in vain.

Suddenly, a big fish was brought to him. Laras turned his head, looking at a very familiar face.

"Who are you?"
