Love Anton And Mela

Love Anton And Mela
Twenty Two

Dawn Story

Batam is the largest city in the Riau Islands, this city borders

direct water with Singapore

and Malaysia.

The population in this city is diverse there are Malays, Javanese, Batak, Minang, Chinese and others.

The regional language is also mixed, but the excess level of ethnicity and race in this city is small compared to other cities in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java.

The biggest religion in Batam is Islam, not a few Chinese people also embrace it in this city.

For some people in other cities or on other islands, people of Chinese descent are synonymous with wealth. For example, on the island of Java, most people of Chinese descent have an above-average economic level.

Unlike in the city of Batam, it turns out that many descendants of Chinese who even have a difficult economic level.

One of them is Joni Sanjaya and his wife Siu Hoa or commonly called Ahoa. They live in slums

around Tanjung Riau Sekupang Subdistrict.

They live in a small house located in a small alley with a row of houses that are crammed together.

They have a son named Fajar Sanjaya.

Joni Sanjaya and Ahoa both work at a restaurant called California.

Joni's job as security is there and Ahoa is the table-to-table delivery man at the restaurant.

Ahoa's working hours range from ten in the morning to ten in the evening, while Joni works until six in the morning.

Dawn grew into a child who in addition to lacking parental affection, she was also clearly deprived of food. His body was small and his eyes were thin.

She is not a kindergarten school, she can read because she was taught by Maryati's mother, a retired teacher who opened the Learning House near the mosque in the neighborhood.

Her mother's father whom she calls Apah and Aman has no time to teach her son a lesson even to invite his son to talk very rarely.

At work Ahoa went to bed, then woke up early washing clothes, drying, and ironing clothes before.

Then clean the house and cook food for Dawn, one kind of food for morning, noon and night.

When he was about to go to work, he left his son's Dawn to the next door neighbor of their house.

Luckily his neighbor's son always took him to Maryati's mother's house.

Joni and Ahoa did not care that her five-year-old son was good at reading and writing under the guidance of Maryati's mother.

Even because Dawn was never taught a religion by her parents, Maryati's mother had guided her to become a Muslim child by teaching prayer and teaching.

Time did not feel, Fajarpun had to enter Primary School, Maryati's mother met her parents one morning.

But Fajar's parents even just say sorry please mother who takes care of later must pay how much for the cost

their Dawn school is paying.

Fortunately Maryati's mother understood because she was sorry to see Dawn, so she took care of all the school needs of the child.

Dawn was considered his own grandson, now even more Dawn lives with Maryati's mother.

Even what used to be a small thin body, now began to fatten.

Joni and Ahoa are happy to see it, they even give money every month that is quite good for the cost of Fajar school and the cost of eating their children.

It is not wrong Little Dawn joined Maryati's mother, she even learned a lot from the retired teacher. So that in school he became a smart child and always became the champion of the class from SD to High School.

Maryati's mother came home to Merahullah about a year ago because of a long-standing heart attack.

Though at that time Fajar almost passed High School and had passed the exam to receive a scholarship at one of the State Universities in the city of Bandung.

He was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychology.

At that time in his school held a PMDK test and only 5 seats available to be able to continue studies at one of the State Universities in Indonesia.

Author: PMDK: Review of Interests and Abilities.

After taking a series of tests, he graduated and received a 100% scholarship at UNPAD University in Bandung.

His parents were very grateful, they were very supportive of Fajar moving there.

There was only a little strange, when one day his mother said to him as Fajar cleared up the need to go to Bandung.

"Fajar, this is Amah love bankbooks and ATM cards. You wear enough well when occasionally needed. You're going to college for free, but this is money to help with your living expenses" said his mother in tiochiu.

Author: sorry the author is not good at tiochiu.

"Yes, thank you, Fajar must hold it well. Can make the occasional fare of Dawn home, "said Fajar while looking at the amount of money that is quite a lot in the savings book which is about 30 million.

In the early 2000s, that kind of money could still be said to be quite a lot.

"Don't kid.don't ever come back to Batam. Just stay on the island of Java there. You can't come back here anymore" said her mother, hugging her child and crying.

Dawn was confused and asked, "Why can't Dawn come here again, Amah and Apah will not miss me?".

"Let's Amah and Apah you will see. Don't you think about us, son. Right school, 'cause you're a smart kid, Maryati's mom's guidance. Make her proud of nature".

While being alone with his mother, his father soon entered.

Then he said to Dawn, giving some cash, "this is the cost of getting on the plane tomorrow and also this may be enough for one month, the rest you save".

"Later first..this is what exactly Apah and Amah gave me big enough money. All this time we were poor and the house like this, but it turns out Apah and Amah there is this much money".

"Why don't we move on from before?" tanya Fajar was very confused to see given another 10 million rupiah in cash.

"Have you no need to know, all our savings for you. Tomorrow take you to the airport".

"Keep your money properly not to be lost and do not ever scatter, that's all we can give" said his father with a heavy and sad tone.

Finally Fajarpun did not ask much more, he could only keep quiet following the orders of his parents.

The next morning he was escorted by his father to the airport by bus.

His mother could not deliver it just keep telling him not to go back to Batam.

Upon arrival at the airport, his father, who since he was a child, never hugged him, was held tightly while his father was crying.

"Fajar, remember Apah and Amah love you very much. Remember our message never you return to Batam. Stay in Java there, one day if there is a definite chance we will be there too".

Dawn was very moved, he felt haru and happy finally felt able to hug his father. Though he never knew it was also his last hug.

Finally Fajar got a plane ticket to Jakarta, and later continued to Bandung.

After almost two hours on the plane, he arrived in Jakarta.

For a moment he stood feeling happy on the island of Java.

Then he saw that there was a bus that could take him to a station in Jakarta.

Although he did not understand it, he was determined to take the bus, to just pass through the city of Jakarta.

He also really enjoyed his journey by taking the bus, and saw many skyscrapers in the city of Jakarta. It is almost the same as in the city of Batam.

Finally the bus arrived at the station in Jakarta and also with desperate capital looking for counters looking for train schedules majoring to Bandung.

He felt the comfort of traveling inside the train carriage. There was also an AC television so he could watch movies until he finally fell asleep.

Arriving in the city of Bandung he asked people where the address of the university in question.

It turns out there is in Bandung district and from the station is still very far away.

As it was late at night, he stayed at one of the cheap inns near the station. Next tomorrow look for the address of the campus.

The next morning the inn official told him that he still had to take public transportation to the bus terminal in the city of Bandung. Later from the new terminal take a bus to the campus address.

"Alamaaakkk. far nian yah bang should go there," said Fajar to the innkeeper.

"Where the hell is it, like a Sumatran from his accent" said the officer.

"The son of Riau bang," he replied shortly.

"Oh deket or Riau mah, stay straight and then turn a little to the right from here mah," the officer said casually.

Fajar stupefied to fail to understand, when he heard the officer's words that

putting on a face without sin when explaining the riau road.

Finally Fajar took public transport which could take him to the bus terminal. He sat in front with the driver.

He enjoyed his journey up from the back there were people shouting, "Mang Riau left mang!!!"

Fajar increasingly fail to understand, because the name of the road is listed by the name of the hero but why from earlier called Riau. Let it be a mystery to him.

Riding the transportation feels long and far away, because the distance from the inn to the terminal is indeed very far.

While sleepy, the transportation stopped right in front of the big pharmacy, whether on the road he did not understand.

The old apartment building that stands tall is called Wiharja Farma.

I don't know why he felt interested in looking at the building, but just a pharmacy. Then the bus drove back to the terminal.

In the terminal quite a lot of rice stalls, he ate first there. After that he asked again on the bus majors what the direction of the campus.

Apparently there are some who are in the direction of there and he was soon up.

It was unusual for him to travel so far from yesterday.

In the city of Batam anywhere near does not need hours and traffic jams.

After almost two hours, arrive in front of the campus in question.

Then he got off the bus to find a boarding place. Many kinds and prices of boarding houses in the area until you find a comfortable and economical.

The next day he went to campus looking for the faculty he went to armed with a scholarship notice letter he held.

Meet the administration and it turned out that his name was recorded there.

He only gave some other data.

Then he followed the orientation period for a week and began the beginning of the lecture in the following week.

On the first third day of college, he was suddenly summoned by the campus office.

It turns out there is news from Batam, his father and mother have died killed people.

He asked who contacted the campus and named his son Adam Maryati's mother.

The campus office also gave a piece of paper with a row of numbers that are phone numbers that can be contacted in Batam.

With a broken heart he tried to find information to Batam, there was still a "Warung Telekomunikasi" era", it is a place that has several phone boxes that can be used for local and interlocal phones. The phone is connected to a counting device how long a person has been communicating.

It turned out that the number belonged to his son Maryati mother named Bang Adam, from the youth Fajar got a little information that his parents had really died because the night before there was a murder.

The murder occurred while both were at home. There were several people dressed in all black coming, shooting both of them dead and ravaging their homes.

Before the police arrived, Nina's mother's next-door neighbor looked inside the house hoping that both of them would be alive.

It turned out that both of them had died and near Ahoa's hand was seen handwriting on the floor. Apparently in the midst of death, Ahoa tried to send a message "Dajar don't come back".

It was also told to Dawn by bang Adam, according to him there are some relics of his parents that could be useful.

And these items will be sent to Bandung.

For weeks Dawn lived in sorrow, not knowing who to pour out its heart to.

There is no friend or anyone he can make a place to complain. Just praying and praying that he did while remembering his parents.

Some time later he received a package from Batam sent by bang Adam.

He opened it and it contained a diary-like book bearing his mother's hand, a pendant belonging to his mother, and several funeral photos.

The funeral of his parents has been carried out by the residents on a special dues fund collected every month by the local Neighbor's Court.

Later that night she read her mother's diary which was partially written in tiochiu.

There was not much he could understand about what was behind the murder.

From some sources it is said that his parents have a debt to the loan shark, because it does not pay off then both are killed.

But it feels awkward and to this day it is still something that is not revealed.

The real thing that happened and Fajar never knew was that his father Joni and Ahoa worked in a California restaurant and without many people knowing behind the walls of the restaurant was a dark gambling center.

Joni during his life became a security officer there to cover gambling activities from the police.

Ahoa worked in the restaurant as a food delivery waiter, and had to serve the delivery of the two different buildings every day back and forth.

So that every night he was very tired without having time to pay attention to his son.

One time while delivering food to a gambling establishment, he saw someone being tortured and killed by his employer who owned the restaurant and gambling establishment.

Ahoa becomes an eyewitness and is threatened to keep his mouth shut or his family will be wiped out.

At that time Ahoa was trembling in fear but he kept trying to work and close the secret.

But fatefully he saw the murder committed vilely by his employer was even more than once.

He could not bear to keep covering up the incident, even murder victims were buried improperly in the back garden of a restaurant near the garbage can.

For years he covered it up until finally getting the happy news that Fajar his son got a scholarship to the island of Java.

Joni and Ahoa deliberately raised money because they were determined to send Dawn out of Batam.

She and her husband were finally determined to round up their plans to report the barbaric deeds to the police when Fajr was gone.

After believing that Fajar was already in Java, the two went to the police and told them what they had been going through for years.

The restaurant was raided by the police, uncovered behind the kitchen wall there are illegal gambling activities.

And the police also dismantled the ground around the trash can in the backyard of the restaurant.

It was found that there were many human bones that were once buried improperly.

Her employer Joni and Ahoa were immediately arrested by the police, but some of her men managed to escape.

And the men who escaped were loyal to their master.

Although there is behind bars but the crime order is still running.

Finally one night Joni and Ahoa were visited by a herd of criminals who were the ones who escaped the pursuit of the police before.

They shoot Joni in the head and Ahoa in the chest, and Joni dies, but Ahoa still survives and tries to write a message so that his son never returns.

The criminals to this day are still trying to find traces of Dawn, but never found.

Even the neighbors around tried to forget the Dawn Nagar not to be found criminals.

Even the Adampun bang after the incident disappeared without anyone ever knowing it again.
