“Karin,” call Mama Karin while knocking on room door. “Ayo, out. It looks like Nak Arga's family has arrived.”
Karin who was sitting on the edge of the bed with a pouting face was getting irritated. After meeting with Arga at Cafe yesterday, the man even went home to Karin to express his intentions to Karin's parents. Though Karin had very clearly refused and sulked so that Arga did not continue his plan.
“Have we come, the flow of destiny,” said Arga.
“I'm sure my life's destiny isn't this awful. Obviously this was Mr. Arga who made my life destiny so messy.”
“Withing? You think marriage is a crime.”
“Ah please, I am lazy to quarrel with Mr. Arga.”
“Karin ...”
Karin is awakened from her daydream. Get out of bed and open the door.
“How are you, let's get out that the family Nak Arga has come,” fussy Mama.
Karin clucked, “Defuse me Mah, no need to accept. I'm not getting married yet,” whine Karin.
“If you don't want to, why did you invite Nak Arga to meet Papa and Mama. You are really weird, Mom wants to go ahead. You should also go ahead than Papa knows you even reject this proposal.” Mama left Karin who was still standing at the door.
Karin went back to the room to make sure the makeup and clothes she was wearing were really neat. Wearing a simple kebaya even make up she did it herself, because an impromptu plan made the two families rush in preparing for the event. There are a lot of flaws here and there.
Karin came out of the room and joined in the living room, where it was crowded with the arrival of Arga and his family.
“Well, finally come too,” said someone from Karin's side.
“Well, this is Karin,” Marisa told her husband.
Karin greets both Arga's parents and kisses their hands in reverence. The application event began, with the Arga party conveying the purpose of their arrival. Then from Karin's side who said that Arga's application would be accepted or not depending on Karin's answer.
“How is Nak Karin, is Arga Sadewa's application accepted?”
Arga looked at Karin, worried that the girl had rejected her proposal. Being in a cornered situation made Karin finally nod her head.
Besides Karin and Arga, everyone who was present cheered, some were grateful.
“Received, the candidate person is very handsome.” I don't know who said that, Karin could only smile forcedly.
“Ayo Mas Arga and Mbak Karin sit next to dong, we first photo.”
Arga had moved to sit next to Karin, their attitude seemed timid to those who noticed when in reality they were awkward and could not show affection like a couple who were getting married.
“Swipe here, we're out of proposals not a couple fighting,” whispered Arga while telling Karin to get closer.
“Smiles yes,” says photographer,
“Suitable yes, handsome and beautiful.”
Both Arga and Karin just smiled hearing the compliment. Now the Arga and Karin families mingle while enjoying the dishes that have been prepared. Karin herself and Arga were still sitting in her place.
Arga looked uncomfortable, making Karin ask. “Pak Arga why the hell?”
“I want to go to the toilet, please show me the direction dong.”
Karin just pointed without the mark dropping off. Not long after Arga returned, “Cepet really.”
“Ngantri, no more toilets?”
“In my room,” says Karin. Arga follows Karin's steps towards her room. “That,” show Karin on the toilet door. Arga rushed off while Karin returned to the front room. There was no way the two of them would be in the room.
Arga, who was done with his wishes, stared around Karin's room including photos of Karin as a child until now. Even Arga smiles at Karin's photo wearing her high school uniform.
“That's funny, her dimples ..”
Brakes.
“Not Sir? It was queried with the others.”
“Already,” reply Arga.
“Pak Arga why?” Karin squinted her eyes while looking suspiciously.
“What do you think I am doing, sleeping?”
“Tau, ah.”
...***...
Karin stepped up unhappily, she was already in the lobby. Employees began to arrive and more and more people were waiting for the elevator or choose to use the stairs.
“I heard Mr. Arga has a proposal,” exclaimed someone who walked behind Karin.
“Iya, there are up his photo in the group. I don't think it will be the same that let alone had a dispute with former Mr. Arga.”
“But my heart, less what try my appearance. Maybe Mr. Arga's eyes are a bit siwer yes, tuh chick until proposed a beautiful turn, sexih this ogled also not.”
Karin took a deep breath listening to people talk about it as well Arga. Already expecting something like this to happen, Karin wears a mask so that it is not easily recognized.
Arriving at his desk, Karin opened the phone that felt vibrating in his bag. It was a message from Arga.
[To my room now]
“Ih, so bossy anyway.”
Karin ignored the message from Arga, choosing to do his job. His phone placed on the table shook again.
[Now, Karin!!!]
Karin clucked reading Arga's message.
[I'm busy] Karin replied.
Drt drt drt
Karin scrunched her forehead reading the name on the screen. The call from Arga, made him hesitate to answer or not.
“Halo.”
“You still understand Indonesian ‘kan? To my room now,” Arga said by phone. Karin will answer but Arga has ended the phone call.
“Ih, really nice.”
Lazily Karin finally headed for the Arga workspace. Nodding his head as he passed the smiling secretary Arga towards him. Karin opened the door without knocking.
“What the hell Sir. I have to work.”
“You work in my company, don't overdo it.”
Karin chooses to sit on one of the sofas and ignores Arga who walks up to her and sits on the sofa opposite to her only blocked by the table.
“Later in the afternoon we to the boutique, meet Mommy there.”
“For?”
Arga shook his head, because Karin's attitude reflected that she was starting to be brave to Arga.
“Cek size kebaya to akad later, want to sew or choose existing later you discuss with Bunda.”
“Can't be canceled, sir?”
“What?”
“Cancelled. I cannot marry without love. This is all because of Mr. Arga, who started Mr. Arga.”
Arga clucked, “Not to be discussed. We just follow the flow.”
“I wish there was a plot twist, where I am not the bride Mr. Arga.”
Arga chuckles, “You read too many novels. Such stories exist only in dramas and novels.”
“Successful, the important thing is I did not expect this wedding.”
