Do Jae is a good candidate-in-law

"Where are you going? And, where's Kim Hyuk?" ask Do Jae softly.

"He's in the room." replied Sun Youra.

From the stairs came the sound of footsteps. Kim Hyuk walked down the stairs casually. His face is still pale. He was surprised to see his father sitting in the living room. Now he went down the stairs quickly.

"Dad, why didn't you tell me?" said Kim Hyuk.

Without Sun Youra's permission, Kim Hyuk immediately sat down beside her and embraced Sun Youra's shoulder.

"When you brought him into this house I haven't seen him. Now I have come here to visit my future daughter-in-law." replied Do Jae.

Do Jae smiled warmly at Sun Youra. I don't know why that smile made Sun Youra comfortable. If his father was still alive, perhaps he would feel the warmth of a father like now.

"Tomorrow you'll have to go to the office. It's been two days since you entered the office" Do Jae told Kim Hyuk.

"Good Dad. But I have to find someone who can be trusted to take care of Sun Youra" Kim Hyuk said.

Sun Youra glanced at Kim Hyuk beside her. He was very upset with that man. That man had already made her angry, and now acted as if nothing had happened.

"I'm not a child to be looked after" Sun Youra said unhappily.

Kim Hyuk turned to Sun Youra, "You think I really want to find a guard to look after you? I want to take care of my son." said Kim Hyuk.

Do Jae smiled broadly, almost even laughing. His adopted son was already like a husband and wife to Sun Youra. He is very happy if Kim Hyuk gets married soon. That will ensure Kim Hyuk will not be the head of a motorcycle gang again.

"It's Kim Hyuk, you don't make him feel uncomfortable. Learn to be an adult. Soon you will be a father" Do Jae said with a big smile.

"I'll take a shower first" Kim Hyuk said. He realized that since helping Sun Youra earlier, he had not changed clothes.

After Kim Hyuk left the living room, Do Jae switched to sitting next to Sun Youra.

Do Jae told all of Kim Hyuk's stories to Sun Youra. From little Kim Hyuk to when he found battered Kim Hyuk in a corner of a remote building.

"I tried to ask, but he was stubborn, cold and unapproachable. When a couple of police cars came, I forced him into the car. On the way back, he told me that he had just fought his enemy, Choi Jo. She leaves the unconscious Choi Jo by the side of the road and hides.".

"After that, I took him home. I called my personal doctor. Again he raged like a stricken lion. I was confused how I would take care of her. But after a few months, she started being nice and polite to me. Even he's like a spoiled little boy.".

"When he was 17, he went to see his parents. I went to Canada to do my job. I just returned to South Korea after I got word that Kim Hyuk was in jail. I was surprised and flew right here.".

Sun Youra listened well to Do Jae's story. Now he knew the origin of Kim Hyuk's cruel nature. After hearing Do Jae's story, Sun Youra felt sorry.

Had Kim Hyuk grown up with a good family, he was sure Kim Hyuk would have been a kind, caring and loving man. Unfortunately Sun Youra had already gone to the man named Kim Hyuk.

"What about your life story?" ask Do Jae.

Sun Youra smiled faintly, "There is nothing special about my life story other than living in an orphanage, getting engaged to Nim Joon, and ending up being the victim of the cruelty of a motorcycle gang leader." said Sun Youra. A faint smile spread across his face.

"Oh yeah, that Byeon Jin was my cab. Actually the house you were in Busan at the time, it was my old house" Do Jae said with a smile.

"And that family picture is also your family picture?" ask Sun Youra again.

"Yes, that's a picture of my family. But my son disappeared, and my wife died of cancer" replied Do Jae.

Do Jae took a deep breath. He did not want to remember his family who was calm in nature there.

"That's it, don't talk about the past. Especially the sad past. Now, you should also forget about Kim Hyuk's ugliness. It's over, now he wants to change. Please help her" said Do Jae.

Do Jae stood up and walked into the kitchen. He also invited Sun Youra to come along. Sun Youra had no idea what her adoptive father Kim Hyuk was going to do. But he just went along without asking much.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Do Jae greets the waiters who are cooking for dinner. Do Jae opens the refrigerator and takes a piece of milk and bread.

"Sun Youra, let's eat together." Do Jae.

Actually Sun Youra wanted to refuse, but he was not feeling good. He was sure that the person sitting at the table wanted to make his mood better.

"All right.".

Sun Youra sat down in front of the dining table. Do Jae took one loaf of bread and then applied strawberry jam on it. Strawberry jam is jam to its liking. Now he really wanted to eat that bread.

"Do you like strawberry jam?" ask Do Jae.

"I really like it." replied Sun Youra with a wide smile.

Do Jae handed the bread that had been given jam to Sun Youra. The girl smiled widely and accepted the bread very politely.

"From now on call me dad" Do Jae said as he rubbed Sun Youra's head.

"Good Dad.".

Sun Youra was moved, only this time did he feel the warmth of a father. He misses the father he has never seen.

"Well, someone who eats doesn't take me" said Kim Hyuk, who has been bathing and changing clothes.

Kim Hyuk sat down near Sun Youra. He looked at Sun Youra who ignored his words just for the sake of eating a piece of bread.

"I want some milk ice. Make it soon." Kim Hyuk orders the waiters who are still cooking.

Sun Youra turned her head quickly at Kim Hyuk. Then look at the service that is taking the glass.

"Don't follow his orders" said Sun Youra.

The service stopped, he was confused who should follow his orders.

"How dare you change my orders?" said Kim Hyuk.

"You have a fever" said Sun Youra, "Make him warm tea water." Sun Youra ordered the servant.

Do Jae smiled, only this time Kim Hyuk was silent when someone forbade him. Even dispelling his orders to be carried out.

"Hopefully you can change Kim Hyuk." muttered Do Jae inwardly as he looked at Sun Youra who was cool at chewing food.
