LONLIN: Twins 13

LONLIN: Twins 13
Dear Mackenzie

This was the story I wanted to forget the most, but it was precisely this story that I remembered the most when I heard Devlin's name, starting that day.

"Mom said, we bought lunch. Why cook for yourself, anyway?" Dillon sewot saw Devlin who was busy cooking, but this morning obviously the mother advised if lunch was bought outside because the mother did not have time to prepare.

Devlin was silent. He bragged seriously slicing the carrots so that the pieces were just as big.

Still leaning on the edge of the pantry table, Dillon looked in horror at Devlin's 'played' sharp knife. Occasionally he gasped in shock when Devlin's knife missed cutting the carrot's body a bit hard.

With arms crossed in the chest, Dillon faithfully awaits Devlin, fearing that anything will happen to his 13-minute sister.

"Aw!"

Dillon suddenly turned his head quickly, when he heard Devlin's ringing, and he saw his sister's index finger bleeding. Snapping, he pulled out Devlin's injured hand and washed it with tap water.

Devlin was still grimacing. He closed his eyes, afraid that his finger would break from the knife.  Then, Dillon guided Devlin to the living room sofa, then had Devlin sit there. He himself rushed to find the medicine box, and took the red medicine and plaster there.

"Hold, yeah." Dillon crouched down in front of Devlin, and began to drip the red medicine onto Devlin's index finger.

Devlin grimaced again, though he desperately held on. Then, Dillon opened the plaster he was carrying and wrapped it around a wound on Devlin's index finger.

"Udah is ready," said Dillon softly and Devlin began to open his eyes. His lips shook with the cry. He was very afraid if his index finger was really broken like the carrot he had cut.

"It's okay," said Dillon. He sat down next to Devlin. "I don't like it when you get hurt like this. So, don't cook anymore."

Devlin was silent. He stared at his finger that had been wrapped neatly by the plaster. I don't know what he was thinking, but this time it wasn't a scared look, but a sad look.

Before long, there was the sound of a car roar in front of the house that they recognized as the sound of the father's car. The twins looked at each other in confusion. However, not long after the sound of the door opening and greeting made Devlin run to greet father and kiss his hand. "Tumben, are you home soon?" Then later scabbard.

Dillon followed and kissed the father's hand as well, after answering the greeting first.

I laughed at the princess's question. "Your parents," seduced father. Then stroked the tops of Devlin's and Dillon's heads alternately.

"Have you eaten yet?" Ask dad later. The question that is almost never absent he made to his two children.

No one answered, until I looked at Dillon waiting for a response.

Dillon. "Just want a message," he replied slowly.

Father glanced at the clock imprinted on the wall of the television room. He made his face change hard.

"Let's eat outside," invited the father of sumringah who was immediately greeted with enthusiastic agreed cheers from his children, Devlin more precisely.

Dad was back laughing. Just happy to see how simple the happiness of his children. However, that expression immediately changed, when looking at Devlin's index finger.

"Why, Devlin?" Ask me to worry. He crouched down to see more clearly.

Devlin replied, Dillon went to snatch, "Devlin is playing with a knife, Dad."

Hearing Dillon's complaint made Devlin glare. "No, Dad! Devlin wanted to cook earlier," he said in self-defense.

"Same aja. Play knife," reply Dillon.

Daddy just shut up. Only his eyes spoke. He's disappointed.

"Mother see Mackenzie?" Mother who was peeling an apple on the living room sofa immediately shook her head, when she heard Devlin's question.

Devlin's attention turned to his father who was reading a newspaper near Mom. "Father also from earlier did not see," said Father, understanding the meaning of his daughter's gaze.

Devlin let out a huffed breath. From school yesterday to today, he hasn't seen Mackenzie. In fact, Mackenzie usually likes to spoil it the most, when holidays like this.

In fact, Mackenzie's food bowl was still filled to the brim with the gray cat's lunch.

Devlin was restless. Here he called out worriedly the name of the cat he had taken care of for three years.

"What's up?" ask Dillon who looks fresh because she just finished her morning shower.

"Mackenzie is gone" replied Devlin.

Dillon spread his gaze. He hadn't seen Devlin's puffer cat all day.

"No way. He sleeps in the house, really."

"Jude, take a shower. We'll find the perimeter of the complex" said Dillon. Seeing his brother so distraught, Dillon became worried.

Devlin finally agreed. He rushed to take a bath at Dillon's suggestion, so he could find Mackenzie after that.

"We got on a bike. You sit in the back. Let me pedal" suggested Dillon, after seeing Devlin running down the stairs with his hair still not completely dry.

Devlin nodded in agreement. He immediately put on his sandals, and followed Dillon to the veranda.

Just a few times Dillon paddled his bike out of the fence of their house, suddenly he braked his bike suddenly.

Devlin grimaced, as his head hit Dillon's back. Rubbing his forehead, he asked, "Why stop?"

There was no answer, because Dillon chose silence and did not give any reaction.

Devlin frowned confusedly. Then, take the initiative off the bike. Want to ask the same question to Dillon, but did not do it after seeing firsthand the cause of Dillon's silence.

Devlin's eyes widened instantly. His breath suddenly choked, followed by a tear that dripped just like that.

"Mackenzie," he sizzled.

He ran up to the gray figure who was tragically stranded on the edge of the asphalt road. Crouching there and starting to hysterically shout the name of the gray figure.

"Macenzie! Mackenzie wake!"

Dillon took off his bike and let the bike just fall off. He immediately approached Devlin and prevented his sister from touching Mackenzie, who was covered in fresh blood.

Devlin brushes off Dillon's hand and again tries to touch his beloved cat. However, it again failed because Dillon had pulled him away.

"Dillon, Mackenzie's wound! We need to get him to dr. Oh, hanum!" isak Devlin's.

He's still trying to get away from Dillon.

"He was not hurt. He's dead" said Dillon carefully.

Devlin shook his head strongly. "No! Let's dr. Hanum the ngobatin. Come on, get Mackenzie now, Dillon!" Devlin still thrashed out for release.

He wanted to hold Mackenzie in his arms immediately, and take her to a veterinarian who opened a practice at the far end of the complex.

Dillon looked at Devlin bitterly, then hugged his sister tightly, although Devlin still thrashed. Her chest hurt so much to see Devlin like this. If he knew the perpetrator who hit Mackenzie, he swore he would make ********that was battered.

"Udah Devlin."

"Mackenzie pity."

"We call Dad, keep bringing Mackenzie home, okay?"

"No want! Mackenzi pity."

After burying Mackenzie in the backyard of the house, Devlin went straight into his room and said nothing. His eyes were still red, for not a second did he let his tears stop dripping.

Dad's coming to Devlin's room. She was worried because her daughter refused dinner. "Eat first, yeah, baby. Devlin's gonna be sick, you know."

Devlin did not answer. He still turned his back to his father with his body covered in a blanket.

Dad rubbed Devlin's hair gently. Then, carefully say, "Tomorrow early in the morning, we buy Mackenzie again, yes."

Father's words just succeeded in making Devlin turn his head. His lips trembled as he tried to make a sound. "Are Mackenzie twins? Even if twins are not the same. Mackenzie's just one. Where to buy again!"

Devlin sobbed again. He turned his back to his father, and covered his face with a blanket.

Daddy just shut up. He was worried to see Devlin. For more than 20 minutes, the father stayed in Devlin's room and continued to gently rub his daughter's hair. Only after believing Devlin had fallen asleep did father come out of the room.

This time Dillon came in. He did not say a word, and immediately took his place beside Devlin. Lying there in silence and hugging her sister from behind.

"Mackenzie must be happy, because she was treated with you" said Dillon slowly.

I heard another sniff from Devlin. The girl had not slept. He turned his body around, and let Dillon hold him tightly. Letting her cry break, sobbing.
