A Visit to Amman

Amanda's still thinking about what she saw yesterday at the zoo. The arrival of Vera and also a mysterious man who is suspected to have a relationship with the woman.

He wondered if Vera had betrayed his father. If so, it is very unfortunate. Given Amman who currently hopes to go out and live together with his son and wife.

"Man, so you're going to papa?"

Nino asked Amanda through WhatsApp. Amanda read the message and then replied.

"So, I'm at the koq house" replied the woman.

A few minutes later Amanda got downstairs and got into Nino's car. That day he was deliberately going to come to the office after swiping the father. Same with Nino. Arka has been gone since this morning.

Along the way Nino and Amanda get into a conversation. But both of them hold the matter of Vera at the tip of their tongues.

Nino who had seen Vera with the man first, refused to tell Amanda. For fear that Amanda will tell Amman and cause Amman to be hurt.

Same with Amanda herself. He was also afraid that Nino would tell Amman if he tried to be honest. But the secret was really like wanting to rebel out.

Soon they were seen stopping by a Padang restaurant. They bought a few packs of Padang rice, and after that switched to a cake shop. To buy some bread and other cakes there.

Upon arriving at the correctional institution Amman was very happy with the arrival of his two children. Just a week and two weeks ago, Nino and Amanda went there.

Amman hasn't seen them in a month. She hugged her two children long and tight.

"How are you?" ask Amanda.

"Well, you guys?" Amman asked a question.

"Good."

Amanda and Nino answered at about the same time. Then they sit together. Amman smiled watching her two children.

Usually they always come alone, but today it can be both. It felt a double of happiness that Amman felt.

"Papa eat first yes, we bring rice Padang nih" said Nino.

"Yes pa, we're eating together." Amanda chimed.

"Okay." replied Amman.

Nino then opened up what they were carrying, then they ate together while continuing the conversation.

"Father miss Amara."

Amman said when they had all finished eating. What he always said when he met Nino and Amanda.

And as a parent with two twins, Amanda knows how her father feels.

Nino also understands even though she is currently unmarried and has a baby. Sometimes he misses the twins.

"Father patient, pray a lot. Hopefully Amanda and Nino, can help papa to the fullest." said Amanda later.

Amman nodded with teary eyes holding back tears.

"If you remember your sins, it doesn't feel like you deserve to sit facing you like this."

"Papa has said it many times, pa." said Nino.

"And papa has to stop everything. It will hurt your own heart." continued Nino again.

"We've both been very forgiving, there's no grudge" Amanda said, followed by Nino's nod.

Amman smiled and looked at the two of them.

"Papa just wishes that before he dies, he can get out of this place and live with Vera and Amara."

Amanda and Nino are both not happy to hear all that. Now they both remember Vera.

Both had similar allegations against the woman. Though it's none of their business, Amman is their father and Vera is their stepmother. And they both saw when Vera was with the man.

They both felt sinful because they had hidden everything. To be honest, it feels impossible. Because of course Amman will be hurt, maybe also thought and will be physically ill.
