THE PAST OF NINO

Not without reason Dania was so curious about who Nino really was. Because ever since she opened her eyes this afternoon, Dania felt that the man sitting next to her was now a different man. "Why not?" dania asked, still holding Nino's hand.

Nino crouched down and looked at Dania's eyeballs. "Aren't you afraid?"

Dania scrunched her forehead. "Fear what?"

"Fear of losing me!" exclaimed Nino, in tandem with the warmth that landed on the forehead of Dania.

"Basic, Om a perverted pedophile!!!"

Laughter was still heard behind Nino's room which was right next to Dania's room. The woman grumbled in annoyance as Nino immediately ran away after stealing one kiss from her.

"Tell you, Om pedophile!" angrily Dania, then put on her sandals and walked out of her room.

Dania looked around her who looked lonely. What a very different atmosphere when compared with the atmosphere of Ferdinan big house and also Sanjaya big house surrounded by servants. Dania's gaze was immediately fixed on the door next to her slightly open room. Without a second thought, Dania pushed the door and saw the occupants of the room lying on the bed, still with the same laugh when near the pool.

"You're so happy today?" syndical Dania. He chose to lean against the door to keep a safe distance from Nino.

Nino turned her head for a moment, but remained reluctant to get out of her bed. "What brings you here, Moony?"

"You think?"

"You seem to be ...," Nino seemed to be thinking of something. "Want me to go to bed with you."

Dania. "Not that!!!"

Nino was back to laughing. "Then what? Tell me! Don't make me misunderstand and think you're after me."

There was an upset voice coming from Dania's mouth before her feet stepped up to bring her closer to Nino, though it was still within a safe distance.

"I'm still curious about you." Dania looked the other way in order to remove the awkwardness that was suddenly created.

Hearing Dania's reply invited a smile on Nino's handsome face. He immediately inched down and approached Dania who was still reluctant to get close to him.

"Looks like you're so curious about me." Nino whispered and forced Dania to stare at both of her eyeballs. "Can I interpret this as your acceptance of my presence in your life?" tanyanya.

Dania. Her lips were as if bewitched by Nino's gaze which made her bound and could only follow all of the man's wishes. And so, Dania just nodded her head even though she looked doubtful.

Nino smiled gently and brought Dania to the terrace of her room. While Dania still could not understand what her heart really wanted.

"Moony, you should know that I'm not the same as Ricky and Angga." Nino started the conversation without looking at Dania who was still standing looking behind her. "However, I always try to be able to stand in line with them" he continued.

I don't know what's in Dania's esophagus, but she can't say a word especially when she senses that something's bothering her husband's mind.

Dania stepped up and stood beside Nino who was staring into the expanse of rice fields surrounding the hut.

Nino looked up and looked at Dania. "I know I don't deserve you, but I'll always try to give you the best."

'yeah! Whatisthis? Why is he talking about our relationship? Wouldn't he tell me about himself?' Dania complained in her heart.

Dania kept quiet listening.

"Knowing Ricky led me to success and a better way of life. And get to know you ..," Nino grabbed Dania's hand and kissed her at a glance. "Makes me realize what true love means."

Dania began to feel her face warming up and she was sure that her face must have been as red as a tomato by now.

Nino realizes that Dania's attitude is starting to misbehave and immediately releases her hand.

"My mother came from this place and this is where my mother spent the rest of her life, with no one by her side." Nino felt a water droplet fall onto her cheek.

Dania gasped and intended to wipe away Nino's tears. However, the man first wiped away his tears.

"My mother is just an ordinary village girl who is plain, just like any other village girl. He never imagined anything in his life until he came along and changed my mother's life. The man came like a storm that destroyed my mother's simple life. She made my mother give birth to her children and left my mother in solitude!" Nino is starting to not be able to master her emotions.

Dania touched Nino's shoulder gently. "You okay?"

Nino smiled wryly, but reluctantly looked at Dania. "I'm fine, Moony! I'm just always pissed every time I remember that guy's face."

Dania was silent again.

"I don't know what she wants, but she took my two sisters with her. She even asked me to leave my mother, who was very weak at the time because she had just given birth." Nino's gaze began to blur with tears. "But I chose my mother and stayed here even though I knew the path I chose would not be easy."

A gust of wind filled the silence amid the silence of Nino who tried hard to rearrange the puzzle of his past.

"I used to think that if I was wrong to choose to stay and reject the man's invitation, but after I met Ricky and his family my thoughts changed. They helped me a lot and put me at the top of my career. With the help of Angga!" Nino felt her heart warm up as she mentioned the name of her old friend.

Suddenly, Dania remembered something. "Is singing your dream?"

Nino nodded. "My mom said my talent was put down by that guy."

"Then why did you stop? Is it because of me?" asked Dania hesitantly, she recalled the previous Deta remark.

"Of course not, Moony!" argue Nino.

Dania tried to find certainty in the pair of eyeballs that were staring at her. "If it wasn't for me, why would you stop chasing your dreams?"

Nino exhaled violently. "Because I felt there was no way for me to reach that man."

"What do you mean?" ask Dania confused.

"I originally thought I could reach him by being like him, but I was wrong! That way only makes me more demeaned by him. He disappeared without a trace with my two sisters." Nino couldn't hold back her tears anymore.

Dania immediately grabbed Nino's head and hugged her. "You miss him, don't you?"

Nino fell silent.

"You miss your father?" lirih Dania while rubbing Nino's hair.

Slowly Nino's heart and mind returned in a time when she was so happy to have someone she called ... Daddy's!

'Did I really miss him? Nay! I have only had hatred for him for the rest of my life ....'
