Chapter 42

Now everyone has gathered in the room Bayu, they had to wonder what the problem was until everyone was told to gather except Lily who had to stay at home and Rafkha who was on duty outside the city. But the Gibran they know has been there since then seems silent and let Om Bayu himself explain the problems.

Meanwhile, Brian is being invited by his Papah to Aara's room, but not to meet the woman. Bayu only allowed Brian to peek out of the window at the door of the room so that Brian knew who was lying weakly there.

"What are we doing here, Pah?" asked Brian with a look of disbelief.

"Look who's inside!" papah Bayu said by pointing towards the window. Slowly Brian followed Papah's orders, he approached the door and tried to see who the person was until he was called to the hospital where Papah worked.

Brian's eyeballs faded as he saw Aara's pale face slumbering after she had taken the medicine. At first glance Brian remembered that night, the night where Aara finished bathing and wanted to open a towel on her head but not the long hair that is usually seen every day.

Then Brian remembered Aara's pale face and every utterance and when Aara was vomiting during dinner. Brian now began to understand what he had suspected. Aara's sick, that's all Brian can conclude right now. But why didn't Aara say anything to her or her family.

"You're her husband, but you have absolutely no idea if your wife is sick. What did you notice when you married her? Don't be Brian's loser, Papah never taught you to be a loser. Not after you marry her, enjoy her chastity and then you neglect to carry out your duties as a husband. So far you know nothing!"

"But I really don't know if Aara's sick. He never told me about his pain. Every time I ask, he never answers. What pain did Aara actually have until her condition like this?" ask Brian again. Looking at Aara's face and her current condition Brian is sure if the disease that Aara suffered is not a mild disease.

Earlier this morning he tried to contact the woman who was his wife after he realized that Aara had left before he woke up. But until the Papa asks to come, Aara's number cannot be reached . He confuses himself when his two in-laws ask for Aara's whereabouts.

Bayu smiled faintly, he shook his head at Brian's question. He still doesn't trust Brian who doesn't know anything about Aara. While what he knew since college both look close and now almost five months married.

"Even though I haven't touched Pah!"

Papah Bayu quickly turned his head towards his son. What's more, getting married has been months but Brian hasn't touched Aara at all. What marriage is in both until Brian is able to hold.

"What do you mean? you're married, it's impossible if you haven't touched Aara!"

Brian took a deep breath, knowing that his Papa couldn't possibly believe his words. But maybe it's the right time for him to explain. Although Brian realized after this there will be many problems that he has to face. And many people will look disappointed at him. But Brian no longer wants to cover anything, do not want to obey again the words of Lily and Aara. Now he must be firm and accept the consequences.

Brian turned and stood up to the Papah. Now he is ready for whatever Bayu will do to him after hearing the answer he uttered.

"We did marry Pah, but from the beginning the marriage was only forced. I don't love Aara. And I haven't touched it because I'm keeping the heart of the woman I love."
